I want to design a CPU and possibly memory and other hardware. I could do this with a hardware description language. Once I do this is it possible for me to send my designs to a manufacturer who will realize the design in hardware and send back to me the CPU(s) ? Can it be done at a reasonable cost? I want to design and make my own computer system and actually have it realized in hardware.

So, I'm working in eclipse were everything compiles and runs correctly. However, when compiling under ant for the build server, A large number of tests fail with a NoSuchMethodError saying: class A implements B interface B extends C C requires method getSyncID() // standard getter for an int field. A.java contains getSyncID() A.class contains getSyncID() and yet the Error is still thrown. Does anyone know how the hell this could happen? how to fix it.

I'm trying to query a database, and return a set of values. Part of the data i'm trying to return is an insurance premium breakdown. Is it possible to run a query, that selects multiple fields, then adds then and returns them as a single value? I've seen SUM() but the examples i've seen show it as adding up the results of an entire field - where as i need it to add specific fields for each row returned. Any help is much appreciated.

I just started on the .net compact framework. I want to draw a Sudoku field on the screen. So I put down a PictureBox and defined a method for the Paint event: private void pictureBoxPlayfield_Paint(object sender, PaintEventArgs e) { // use e.Graphics to draw the grid, numbers and cursor } This works, but you can see as the grid is drawn. I'm trying to use a PreparedStatement with code similar to this: SELECT * FROM ? WHERE name = ? Obviously, what happens when I use setString() to set the table and name field is this: SELECT * FROM 'my_table' WHERE name = 'whatever' and the query doesn't work. Is there a way to set the String without quotes so the line looks like this: SELECT * FROM my_table WHERE name = 'whatever' or should I just give it up and use the regular Statement instead (the arguments come from another part of the system, neither of those is entered by a user)?

I want to ensure that a user editing a particular model is saved in that models updated_by (FK User) field. I'm using mostly ModelForms (not necessarily the built in Admin), and wondering: In what cases would I need to override ModelAdmin.save_model() or ModelAdmin.save_formset()? Or, is that doing it wrong? If it's just the models' save() method that needs to be overridden, is there a proper way to access the request object there?
