I am attempting to deploy my first development iPhone app, and am running into some problems. I have successfully went though the online Provisioning Assistant, but now I am stuck. No matter what I do, I always get the following error.
/usr/bin/codesign failed with exit code 1
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
Looking to have some alerts/prompts pop up in my iPhone web app but I see the Title is at the top of the alert (I understand this is the normal behavior). My question is can I remove this? or use an alternative solution.

I am working a rss reader app for iphone . What are my options for displaying entry summary in rss feed ( which could be html) in a tableviewcell without compromising scroll performance .
I dont control the feed so html in summary section is out of my control .
I am thinking of uiwebview would be my last option ( so rss feeds have images and stuff in there, unfortunately ) . I was thinking if there was a way to extract summary text from html.
I have tested my iphone app using XCode and instrument. I am watching the memory allocation tables, its showing me that every things is increasing i.e Bytes, Live Bytes and so on.
What does it means? Am i not deallocating the objects?
Can i find which objects are not deallocating using instruments?

The border-radius renders fine on Safari/WebKit-based desktop browsers, but on the "MobileSafari" variant, namely the iPhone and iPad browsers, it renders with this strange box, which destroys the illusion of rounded corners when the input is being displayed on top of a differently-colored background.

Other C flags in iphone Xcode both to the dependant project and top level project. However it still does not seem to affect the performance and Shark is still reporting the same problem
so it appears it didn't work.
Am i doing this correctly?
I have a UIImageView and want it to be displayed with a specific blend mode. I know the iPhone has different blend modes, and it's probably possible to do it with a lot of CG code...but maybe there's a nice way with the CALayer of UIImageView?

I create a .caf audio file using AVAudioRecorder and if I try and play it back using AVAudioPlay I get no sound on the iPhone (if played in simulator works fine). If I close my application and reopen the file plays fine. Also I am not able to adjust the phone volume after recording unless I close and reopen my application. Any ideas?
hi, I've got a db on a server and want to get some data fro my iphone. I use TouchJson and everything works fine but I've got a little problem. I don't know how to download images. When I try to build and run the app the emulator just crashes. Got any ideas what to do?

I've currently got a webserver set up which I communicate over SOAP with my iPhone app. I am returning a string containing a GUID and when I attempt to compare this with another string I get some strange results:
Why would this not fire? Surely the two strings are a match?

I'm trying to create a universal iPhone app, but it uses a class defined only in a newer version of the SDK. The framework exists on older systems, but a class defined in the framework doesn't.
I know I want to use some kind of weak linking, but any documentation I can find talks about runtime checks for function existence - how do I check that a class exists?
I've tried some code from each of these questions:
How to make one color transparent on a UIImage?
How to mask a UIImage so that white becomes transparent on iphone?
but have come up unsuccessful, unfortunately working with Core Graphics and images is not my strong suit.
How would I go about accessing a UIImage's raw data and changing the white pixels to clear?

I am using inline assembly for iphone, I working for device debug mode.

So I am using the Three20 library for an iPhone app, and want to use the TTSpeechBubbleShape style for a view. But the triangle doesn't seem to want to draw on the left or right sides. I see in the source that it's a lot of geometry and was wondering if anyone had tackled this or knew how to fix it.

Im trying to "get" when a finger/touch leaves a UIButton in objective C for iphone.
I was told in another answer to use UIControlEventTouchDragExit however this event only fires when the touch gets about 100 pixels away from the button, whereas I would like it to be immediate. The apple docs say that goes according to the bounds however my understand is the bounds and the frame are the same unless you rotate the UIbutton (or whatever)

Hi there,
I'm working on an iPhone app that lets the user draw using GL. I used the GLPaint sample code project as a firm foundation, but now I want to add the ability for the user to load one of their previous drawings and continue working on it.
I know how to get the framebuffer contents and save it as a UIImage. Is there a way for me to take the UIImage and tell GL to draw that?
Any help is much appreciated.
I'm still pretty new to this whole iPhone thing.
What are some good tutorials/videos/articles that deal specifically with UITabBars and adding your own views for a multi-view app.
