• VC++ how to change a picturebox from header file

  HI, Just ran into a problem. How to I change a picturebox's picture from within a different header file. If I do it in the same .h file as the Form I am working on I use: sq1-Image = bi; (which loads in a bitmap) but when I do it from another header (i've included the correct header file), I get "sq1 is an undeclared identifier" and "left of '-image' must point to a class/struct/union/generic" What I'm looking for is something like Form1::sq1-Image = bi; Basically I just want to point the program to change picturebox from another location....Is this possible? How can I do this? Cheers!

  Hi, this is my first question on here. I'm trying to build a dial control as a custom user control in VB.NET. I'm using VS2008. so far I have managed to rotate image using graphics.rotatetransform . however, this rotate everything. Now I have a Bitmap for the dial which should stay stable and another Bitmap for the needle which I need to rotate. so far i've tried this: Dim gL As Graphics = Graphics.FromImage(bmpLongNeedle) gL.TranslateTransform(bmpLongNeedle.Width / 2, bmpLongNeedle.Height * 0.74) gL.RotateTransform(angleLongNeedle) gL.TranslateTransform(-bmpLongNeedle.Width / 2, -bmpLongNeedle.Height * 0.74) gL.DrawImage(bmpLongNeedle, 0, 0) As I understand it, the image of the needle should be rotated at angle "angleLongNeedle" although i'm placing the rotated image at 0,0. • How can I implement lazy loading on a page with 500+ images?

  I basically have a booking engine unit results page which must show 40 units and per each unit there's 1 large image of the first thumbnail and an X number of accompanying thumbnail images. I've been using the jquery lazy load plugin, but it's not thorough enough ( I'm invoking it on DOM Ready ), plus it doesn't really work in IE ( 50% of the clients use IE so it's a big issue ). What I think I really need to do is not really spit out the image but a fake element such as a span, and possibly modify my code such that if the user views the span, render it into an image element. <span src="/images/foo.gif"> The booking engine relies on JS so I think I might be forced to just rely on ajaxifying all the thumbnails and have event handlers on window scroll, etc in order for the page to be "usable" and load at an average time ( 2-3 seconds instead of 5-30s on high speed DSL/Cable ). I'd appreciate any examples or ideas.

  I would like to set the Body of an AppointmentItem to a string of RTF that contains an embedded image. Setting Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.AppointmentItem.Body results in the RTF appearing as-is in the appointment. I have tried using Redemption which wraps the appointment and exposes an RTFBody property, but the RTF formatting (including the image) is lost. In this example (which doesn't have an embedded image) the RTF appears in the document as-is. For example: header("Content-type: image/jpeg"); header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8'); returns the whole page as text/html... while header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8'); header("Content-type: image/jpeg"); Returns the whole page as an image.... How can I use both types of content on the same page? I'm using ob_start() at the top and ob_end_flush() at the beginning.

If I'm putting the View inside a UINavigationController the UIImageView won't display the image after taking one with the camera. But if I choose a picture from the library everything is fine again. So why does the UIImageView won't display a image taken with the camera inside a UINavigationController?
