  • Terminal Server Licensing with citrix?

    We are installing Citrix XenApp 6. Our plan is to have a "citrix control" server to serve as license server and print server, and 2 citrix servers with Microsoft Terminal Sever service installed. Now, my question: the 2 terminal servers are asking for serial and activation, which is OK, but can we install the Terminal Server Licensing service on "citrix control" server so that the 2 terminal servers will use the licenses from the "citrix control" server?

  • How can I quickly zoom in on the Mac OS X version of Word without having to use the menu?

    (I'm using the Mac version MS Word 2011) I used to happily use the wheel mouse to zoom but, after upgrading to the Mac Magic mouse (using only finger slide movement to scroll and pan) I can no longer hold Ctrl and roll the mouse to zoom (driving me crazy) and I can't see a useful keyboard shortcut and the zoom slider bar in the lower right of the Word screen isn't practical (in my experience). Is there any way to zoom in on the Mac Version of Microsoft Word 2011 without resorting to using a menu?

  • How to update all MathType formulas in the MS Word for Mac

    When I open .doc file in Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 and MathType 6 installed I get "U" in all formulas instead of "v". The original file was made in MSWord 2003 for Windows with MathType 6. But when I click and open the formula in MathType 6 and then save it back I get correct formula as it was originally written with "v". I am trying to figure out how to I trigger all formulas to be opened in MathType in batch without clicking on each. Or could it be fixed in another way

  • Migrating SBS 2003 to 2011, and hangs when migrating Public Folders

    I've been following the migration guide at http://www.it-book.co.uk/1651/migration-from-sbs-2003-to-sbs-2011-3. The option "Migrate Exchange mailbox and settings" links me to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg563803.aspx When I get to the stage of right-clicking "Move All Replicas", it instantly hangs. I can't see anything specifically in the event viewer at the time this happens. Is this a case of waiting, or is there something more going on here?

    I've just installed a new Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 and it's X/Y calibration/alignment seems to be off. If I move the mouse from left to right, the cursor will go up and down slightly. If I move the mouse from top to bottom, the cursor will also move from left to right slightly too. I seem to remember in earlier version of Windows or Intelli Point, there was a calibration tool which would fix this issue. Can anyone help? Many Thanks Stephen

    Hello, I have a VM with a .vhd file however, when I connet to the VM (by RDP) and make some changes (create a directory and add a small file with notepad) the .VHD file stays unchanged. The 'Date modified' of the .VHD stays at the starttime of the VM. 1/How can we force an update of het VM while the VM is running? 2/Where aree the temporary changes kept? A tool that is functionally similar to the automatic acronym expansion done by Wikileaks in their Afgan War Diary (as seen at http://213.251.145.96/id/310B4FC4-2F89-4653-A546-1AD5D55BD9F7/) but ideally supports PDF or Microsoft Word documents.     64-bit Office installs 64-bit IFilters for its document types, but does not install 32-bit IFilters. Therefore, 32-bit programs that rely on IFilters cannot work with 64-bit Office. And although there is an option to download 32-bit IFilters from Microsoft, the installer will not run on a 64-bit machine, complaining about architecture mismatch. Is there any way to make 32-bit programs extract text from Office documents using IFilters when 64-bit Office is installed? Thanks.

  • Pressing tab to indent a list moves to the next table cell

    I have a list (e.g., a bulleted list) in Microsoft Word. This list is inside a table cell. When I press Tab to increase the indent, rather than increasing the indent, it moves the cursor to the next cell. When I try Ctrl+Tab, it just inserts a tab character without changing the indentation of the bullet (paragraph). How can I turn this off, so it does not go to the next cell but rather just indents the list?

  • Word Opening Text Files by default as RTL, should be LTR

    I've noticed recently that Microsoft Word 2007 on Windows XP is opening by default straight text files as RTL instead of LTR. These are English written files, and contain no Unicode or characters other than ASCII. I work in three or four languages on the computer so have the language bar open, this problem happens when the language is selected to EN (United Kingdom). Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere, perhaps in Word itself?

I'm looking for simple software as MS Paint is. Please don't suggest me complicated software like Gimp and Photoshop. I have already tried Paint.NET, but it is too dependent on Microsoft .NET Framework, so it is very problematic to install in the first place.
