    Hi, I'm running a CLI PHP script. I'm requesting data from a server that only lets me in if my domain is www.mydomain.com. It runs fine when I run through Apache, but when I run through CLI I presume my domain has now changed to the server IP, i.e. 84.123.123.123 The external server obviously rejects me now. How can I request as if I'm www.mydomain.com using the CLI?

    I have some command-line commands to execute on a Windows machine. The programs I need to run are only available on Windows. Is there a way to easily to do something like I would do with SSH? Example of what I mean: ssh [email protected] "remote command to execute" ...or do I have to Remote Desktop just to do this? (I'd like to run the commands programmatically from another computer rather than running them by hand.)

Is it possible to do the same thing using paramiko?

    I have an ordinary project with JUnit tests that are connected to the classes in my Android Project. I want my server to run some JUnit tests in my testproject everytime I commit my code from my Android Project. Is there a best practise to do this? So far I only managed to run the tests when they are a part of a while the JUnit tests and Android classes are separated into 2 different projects, since JUnit runs on JVM and Android in an emulator on DVM (Dalvik Virtual Machine).

    I installed Celery (latest stable version.) I have a directory called /home/myuser/fable/jobs. Inside this directory, I have a file called tasks.py: from celery.decorators import task from celery.task import Task class Submitter(Task): def run(self, post, **kwargs): return "Yes, it works!!!!!!" Inside this directory, I also have a file called celeryconfig.py: BROKER_HOST = "localhost" BROKER_PORT = 5672 BROKER_USER = "abc" BROKER_PASSWORD = "xyz" BROKER_VHOST = "fablemq" CELERY_RESULT_BACKEND = "amqp" CELERY_IMPORTS = ("tasks", ) In my /etc/profile, I have these set as my PYTHONPATH: PYTHONPATH=/home/myuser/fable:/home/myuser/fable/jobs So I run my Celery worker using the console ($ celeryd --loglevel=INFO), and I try it out. I open the Python console and import the tasks.     A simple python script needs to run on a windows server with no python installed. I used py2exe, which generated a healthy dist subdirectory, with script.exe that runs fine on the local machine. However, when I run it on the server (Windows Server 2003 R2), it produces this: The system cannot execute the specified program. and ERRORLEVEL is 9020. Any ideas?

    Hi, we are developing a SOAP webservice (Apache/PHP). All run well for small size calls, but with a 1Mb soap call (the HTTPS call size is 1MB) our Delphi Soap client stop with a timeout on all PC but one, and our PHP clients run well with a default_socket_timeout=300, but stop with a "Error Fetching http headers" with default_socket_timeout=60. How can we change the timeout for Delphi? In fact this timeout seem to be in a Windows XP network library (wininet.dll called by soaphttptrans.pas) Thanks Cédric

I've got a friend who offered to test it on the OS 4.0 beta, but I'm wondering in advance if I should bother. Will my application run under 4.0 or is it not backwards compatible? I have to imagine it will since apps built for 2.x run on 3.x just fine AFAIK. Any gotchas?

    I'm actually looking for a genuine "post build" phase - not the Run script stage. The reason for this is that I want to do some parsing of a target's build-state.dat which is where Xcode puts all of its build output. The problem is that this file isn't actually created until after the build has succeeded or failed, thus anything in the Run Script phase can't see it. Any clues? Thanks

    I have a value in the database which is 2.700000002. When I run a query in Management studio in SQL SERVER 2005 I get 2.7. But when I run in SQL SERVER 2000 query analyzer it comes 2.700000002. 2.70000002 is correct why is SQL SERVER 2005 trying to change the value by rounding it or selecting the floor value?

Running into this weird issue where my application shows timestamp correctly for User timezone ,when i run it from my dev env but pulls out all timestamps in GMT irrespective of the logged in users timezone in an env which is supposed to have the server run on GMT. So wanted to know what was the default TZ set if you do not configure anything

While running the program under gdb I want to switch between the threads and make them run.     I would like to know how to use Visual Studio with CPython (the official python.org python interpreter, not IronPython). In particular, I am interested in getting "build" and "run" commands in Visual Studio working. Other features such as color highlighting and auto-complete, I am less concerned about. Also, can the "build" command be made to run py2exe or similar exe packagers?

    I'm trying to practice my F# by writing small console scripts in F# in place of my usual method of writing shell scripts/batch files. I currently run them using "fsi script.fsx [args]". Is there a way I can associate these fsx files with fsi so that I can run them directly like "script.fsx [args]"?
