  • Problem making local copy of a webpage

    I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

    Hi, I was playing around with Drupal UC and installed a module called "Quoting / Estimate" (http://drupal.org/project/quoting), I tried to run it and got this error: **warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'quoting_quote_clear_page' was given in /home/ergospec/public_html/d/includes/menu.inc on line 348** Has anyone run into this problem?     This is a general question, but I'll explain my specific need at the moment: I want to find the framework class that enables one to choose an image at design-time. I can find the editor that is used at run-time - its the Drawing.Design.ImageEditor. At design time, however, a different editor pops up which allows one to choose an image from resources. I'm guessing I could run some kind of program, then open up the image editor, from the property grid, and see what new windows/classes have been created? Thanks

    I'm writing a specialised crawler and parser for internal use and I require the ability to take a screenshot of a web page in order to check what colours are being used throughout. The program will take in around ten web addresses and will save them as a bitmap image, from there I plan to use LockBits in order to create a list of the five most used colours within the image. To my knowledge it's the easiest way to get the colours used within a web page but if there is an easier way to do it please chime in with your suggestions. Anyway, I was going to use this program until I saw the price tag. I'm also fairly new to C#, having only used it for a few months. Can anyone provide me with a solution to my problem of taking a screenshot of a web page in order to extract the colour scheme? EDIT: Sorry for not getting back to this sooner, but I've been busy with some other things. Anyway, the code seems to work well, but the problem I am having right now is that I am running it within a form, and naturally with Application.Run() being called I cannot run two instances of the same form at once. It recommended Form.showDialog() but that broke everything. When I add the mspec (machine.specifications) assembly to the references, both ReSharper and TestDriven.Net stop running the NUnit tests and only run the mspec tests. Is there a way or setting that allows both NUnit & mspec tests to co-exist and run in the same project using R# & TD.Net test runners?

I want to run scripts from the Linux or Mac OS X command line, much like we run any other scripting language (ruby, php, perl, python...) $ javascript my_javascript_code.js I looked into spider monkey (Mozilla) and v8 (Google), but both of these appear to be embedded.   • Microsoft Report Viewer Control not displaying report

    I have built a simple report and run it successfully in test winform apps but when I try to run the same report in my production winforms application, the report just doesn't show up in the viewer. I look at the ReportViewer control after InitializeComponent and everything looks fine. Are there debugging techniques or gotcha's that might be able to point me to why the report is not showing. It feels like there should be an error of some sort but it just displays a blank form.

    Hello, I've been trying to use CDT with Eclipse 3.4 under Windows XP with cygwin. What do I need to do, in order to get startet? I used "eclipse-cpp-ganymede-SR1-win32.zip" found on the Eclipse homepage. Edit: The main problem is, that I cannot compile and run the code. In the run configuration, I tried gcc.exe for the C/C++ Application: After adding the path of make.exe to my $Path, and starting from scratch, it works perfectly.

  • programming from a usb stick, .net

    I was wondering if there was a way I could program and compile .net applications (c#, asp.net mvc) from a usb stick on any laptop I plugged in. I am lookinjg for a solution that does not have me installing programs on the laptop, so I have to be able to run an ide or editor from an exe and compile presumably from command line. Was also wondering if I can run MS test projects from command line to check tests passed etc. Thanks
