  • ViewSonic LCD Monitor Touch-input

    I bought a used 15" ViewSonic LCD monitor (VP150m) and noticed that it has a 3.5mm connector on the back labeled “touch i/o”. I’m trying to figure out how to use the touch function but am having trouble finding anything useful. First, I cannot find any information on what kind of cable it uses (TS, TRS, TRRS, etc.), or how to connect it to the computer. Second, I cannot find touch drivers for it—though I can find a page that mentions how easy it is to install them. Does anyone have any information on using the touchscreen function of the VP150m?     I''m trying to build a generic cache layer. ICacheRepository Say I have the following: public class Person { public int PersonId { get; set; } public string Firstname { get; set; } public string Lastname { get; set; } public DateTime Added { get; set; } } And I have something like this: list.Where(x => x.Firstname == "Syska"); Here I want to extract the above information, to see if the query supplied the "PersonId" which it did not, so I dont want to cache it. But lets say I run a query like this: list.Where(x => x.PersonId == 10); Since PersonId is my key ... I want to cache it. with the key like "Person_10" and I later can fetch it from the cache. I know its possible to extract the information with Expression<Func<>> but there seems to be a big overhead of doing this (when running compile and extract the Constant values etc. and a bunch of cache to be sure to parse right) Are there a framework for this? Or some smart/golden way of doing this ?

The system returns 'OK' if login and password are correct, and 'NO' if not correct. So, I want to get some information (in PHP) that changes every time, and that could be possible get the same information by my application. What can I do? I don't need codes.     So I am trying to figure out how to post on a website that uses a drop down menu which is holding the values like this (based on the page source): <td valign="top" align="right"><span class="emphasis">Select Item Option : </span></td> <td align="left"> <span class="notranslate"> <select name="ItemOption1"> <option value="">Select Item Option</option> <option value="321_cba">Item Option 1</option> <option value="123_abcd">Item Option 2</option> ... Now there are two of these drop down menus on top of each other. I want to be able to select an item from drop down menu 1 and drop down menu 2 and then submit the page. Now based on the code it submits the information using the following code: <td colspan="2" align="center"> <input type="submit" value="View Result" onclick="return check()"> </td> </tr> </table> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption1" value=""> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption2" value=""> I have no idea how to select the items in the drop down menu and then submit the page and capture the information on the resulting page into a text file. Can someone please help me with this?

  • Unable to retrieve information form HP-UX pst_status object

    I am attempting to get process information by using the HP-UX C/C++ library. After scouring the internet, I have discovered that HP-UX has the pstat.h header file which allows programmers to retrieve the process information. After attempting to understand code from the internet hp website, I attempted to create a little test sample to comprehend what the code does. I attempted to use example 3, however, I ran into several issues. The first issue came when I attempted to execute the following line of code: (void)printf("pid is %d, command is %s\n", pst[i].pst_pid, pst[i].pst_ucomm); When I attempted to print the string, I hit a memory fault. I know that I must be doing something foolish since my C/C++ skills are not that great, but I cannot figure out what the issue is since the code is largely copied from the hp website. So here's the question(s) for clarity: 1. Why can't printf("%s", pst[i].pst_ucomm); handle strings? 2. Why can't I iterate over the processes in the system? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I have been trying to get information regarding expired ssl certificates using python 3 but it would be nice to be able to get as verbose a workup as possible. any takers? So far i have been trying to use urllib.request to get this info (to no avail), does this strike anyone as foolish?   • To show the help related information in WPF.

    I have several dialogs in the application. I want to pop up help related box when user clicks on the help button next to Main Heading. The help box is activated by selecting the small blue icon next to the heading. When the help box appears it has the information that is required to understand the entry related to the dialog. This help box automatically disappears when user clicks any where other then the help box. Please help!!

    I copied an existing project and renamed the folder. Now I get this error when I try to compile the application debugging information cannot be found or does not match. No symbols loaded. Do you want to continue debugging ? If I click yes, it compiles and runs fine. But now I have to deal with that message. Just curious about what i change in the projects properties to get it to stop.

I understand that there is methods like: getSelectedColumns, getAsColumns(), getJoins(), etc., but for examples, getJoins() will just return a list of joined tables strings in free text, where one has to use regular expression to extract the needed joined table information out of it.
