  • Missing dates when exporting outlook calendar

    When exporting an outlook 2003 Calendar to CVS, excel, or access recurring appointments that I have changed the start time on are not included in the exported appointments. Example I have an appointment every other Friday from 8 - 12 that I set up as a recurrence. I then changed the start time on several occurrences. None of the appointments with the changed time are exported. How do I export ALL the appointments?

  • Windows user cannot connect via application, but can via Remote Desktop

    I have an application (ASG-Zena) giving an 1385 error (Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer) when trying to run a batch job. I have checked on "Access this computer from the network" includes Everyone and Administrators and many others. "Deny access to this computer from the network" make sure that Guest is not listed there. If you still have problems, then maybe make sure that nothing is listed there. Administrative tools...local security policy..security options "Network access sharing and security model for local accounts" there are 2 options either classic or 'guest only'. Mine is set to classic. (These diagnostics come from this post) The account in question is added to the Administrator group on this computer. I know the login is valid because I regularly login to the server via remote Desktop. What other settings should I check?

  • WinForms - DateTimePicker default month selection behavior for Server 2003 vs Server 2008?

    Good Afternoon! Has anybody else noticed a change in the default behavior of the "next" and "previous" month arrows in the standard WinForms DateTimePicker control? I have users running on both Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 R2, and they are reporting that on 2008 (and Vista/Win7), clicking the right or left arrows on the drop-down Calendar now selects the first day of the month rather than retaining the same day like 2003 (and XP) does. I have checked this out (I have a Win7 machine) and I have confirmed this behavior. I would prefer that the behavior remain consistent whenever possible. Does anybody know what causes this and if there is a way to get around this? Is there a way to trap the arrow-click event and force the resulting date to retain the original day rather than be reset to the first of the month? I thought about seeing if there was a way to hit-test the control on a MouseUp event and determine if the arrow buttons were clicked, and then override the month value being set, but I'm not sure if that is even possible. Can anybody provide some wisdom or insight? Thanks!

  • Trying to use the "Use Specific Printer" option in Access 2007

    I am trying to set a report to use a specific printer. I go into design mode, click on the page setup ribbon, click the page setup bottun, go into the page tabt, click the option to choose a specific printer, and then click the printer button to choose the printer I want to use. I save the steps and exit out of the report, but it still goes back and prints from the default printer. Why? I had no problems with this feature in 2003, why am I having problems in 2007. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • libreoffice on Mint14 problem : save as 2003 doc

    When saving a doc file (MS office 2003) as a doc file, libreoffice crashes and the file without any updates goes into recovery mode ... I installed mint14 from scratch and did not modify anything the odd thing with mint13 and libreoffice, there is no problem (save as works fine) with an upgraded mint14, there is no problem (save as works fine) this happed on acer one d522 machine and a no-name PC (amd based) both are running a 64 bit version of mint (virgin install) the other machines : - acer X1370 upgraded mint14 and - a dell 1520 (mint13 out of the box) do not show this proble please help... something I forgot or a bug?     I am having an issue with an IIS application (details of environment at the end of the message). The web site works great most of the time and I cannot reproduce any error in our test system. On the live system however with on averare of 5-15 requests per second I have a problem with that some requests (about 0.05%) will take over 300 seconds to complete. The other requests complete withing 5-10 seconds. It seem like if all the errornous requests end up with a Timer_EntityBody error in the error log. I have never seen this as an end user but I guess that they will receive some kind of error message. I am trying to find out what can be causing this errornous behaviour. Any ideas are welcome. I have read something about that there can be an MTU issue if ICMP and MTU protocols are blocked in the firewall. Does that sound reasonable? I have also read about updating to IIS 7 should do the trick. Does it sound reasonable? I think that the problem has another cause but I have no idea of what. I have tried running hte perormance monitor, monitoring for database locks and active transaction counts. I can see some of these in the perfmon log for the MSSQL server (another machine) for example: Active transactions is sometimes peaking and sometimes for long periods Lock waits per seconds is sometimes peaking Transactions per second is sometimes peaking Page IO Latch wait is sometimes peaking Lock wait time (ms) is sometimes peaking But I cannot see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log. On the IIS server machine I can also see with perfmon that some values peak a few times during a day: Request execution time Avg disk queue length I can neither see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log.     Just wondering does anyone know of a free/open source tool that take a Microsoft project file and export it to HTML? I know you can save a project file as HTML, so wanted a tool that would do this automatically? Maybe also displaying graphs/gantt chart as well? If not, any ideas of how I would write a program to do this, preferably in java? I know of Aspose.Tasks (http://www.aspose.com/categories/.net-components/aspose.tasks-for-.net/default.aspx), which can export projects files to gantt charts in png format, but it's not free and is only available in C#.

  • How to remove Character Style in Word 2003

    I am copying text into a Word document that has its styles protected. Some of the text has a Character style applied to it that I would like to remove. I can change the style and it looks okay visually, but when you click inside the text itself you can see in the style menu that the Character style is still applied. I try to change the style using the style drop down but the Character style won't go away even if I change it to the Paragraph style. Does anyone know what I am talking about and/or have any techniques for removing Character styles? I am looking forward to your responses. Let me know if I need to clarify. Thanks! UPDATE: My issue is that the Paragraph style is changing correctly, but the Character style remains applied even though the text is displayed as if the style is not applied. There are four types of styles — paragraph, character, list, and table (list and table styles are new as of Word 2002). However, the majority of styles you'll use are paragraph styles.

    Have a SBS2003 client with a mess of a domain that is in process of being cleaned. But, for the life of me I cannot find a setting that will allow write access to the local hard disk for domain users with redirected profiles(to the server). This is needed only for one program that will not follow a symbolic link to the network path, instead it seems to be hard coded to the %appdata% folder but only on the c: drive.... So question is how can I allow "Domain users" write access to the local %appdata% directory? I have tried setting it manually on a machine but it kept resetting to RO no matter how many times I tried. Everytime I would uncheck the RO property it would reset sometime right after i hit OK.   • MS Access 2003 - Format a Number with Commas AND Auto-Decimal

    On a report I have a control which is bound to a column which can have up to 3 decimal places. I want the number to format with commas separating thousands and millions, but I also want the number of decimal places to be automatic, so that if there is no decimal portion then no decimal at all is shown. 1234.567 -> 1,234.567 1234.560 -> 1,234.56 1234.500 -> 1,234.5 1234.000 -> 1,234 General format will give me the auto decimal places but no commas. Standard format gives the comma but is fixed to 2 decimal places. Doing my own =Format(Number, "#,##0.#") leaves the decimal point in and doesn't align properly, with extra space on the right of the number. Do I have to write my own VB function to give the format I want? It seems silly that Access (apparently) can't do this out of the box.   • SBS2003 to SBS2011 Migration - Installation Error

    Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 to 2011 Migration. I followed the Migration Guide from Microsoft and the source server had no errors when running the various tests prior to the migration. I have completed the destination server setup using the Answer File and the server is up and running. It all looks good, I can access Exchange and AD and the only problem is the error message when you log in stating that the setup did not complete and to check the logs. Because all looks good I am continuing the migration to the destination server. I also have to state that this client does not use Sharepoint at all. Do I have to redo everything?     Hi, I seem to have a problem configuring my Microsoft Exchange to send mails outisde of the domain. I have setup my smtp connectors and everything else.
