• Android 2.1 address bar causes change in viewport dimensions

  Hi, I have a page that has a 100% width and height div in it (all surrounding elements are sized accordingly so that it does actually achieve 100% width and height). Below that div I have a second div with a fixed height. In mobile safari and blackberry everything is fine, when the page loads the dimensions are applied correctly (the top div filling the viewport) and the user can scroll down to reveal the second div. Android 2.1 also applies the dimensions correctly, but with an added quirk; when the user scrolls down and removes the address bar from the page, the dimensions of the div are recalculated to fill the viewport, causing the content to jump. Ideally I would like the dimensions of the div to remain static when the page is scrolled, but remain 100% so that it will fill the viewport regardless of device size or orientation. Does anyone know of any way to disable this recalculation? Thanks for any help you can provide.

But the scroll bars appear on top of the inner div (blocking its contents). Works fine in firefox and IE. I need the inner div to be positioned absolutely. Someone help please..

  Hi. I'm working in a iphone view-based application. The application works this way: First view is a welcome view with buttons for load other views. Second view is a map that shows the location using gps. Third view is a search engine that loads some information to show on the map and on a list (This has two button to load map or table). Fourth view is a table view that shows the results and then loads the detail on another view and load a web site on another view. My problem is with this view, because i don't know how can implement a navigation bar in this view that loads the detail and the web view. Thanks for your help. Byron H.

  Hi, I have a problem with my site in internet explorer. It works fine in firefox, opera etc. Sometimes internet explorer won't show my flash banner. For example when I'm on home page it works fine, but when i press services it doesn't show. Also, when opnend in older versions in IE the page get's completely mixed up. The banner doesn't show and the menu bar gets missplaced. Please help. • How to fit more operations to tab bar + navigation bar?

  I want to use Tabview for my whole app. However in certain view, I have more operations than I can fit in the navigator bar. So I thought of using Toolbar but toolbar should be located at the bottom, right? Toolbar looks weird to be on top of the tabview, and hiding tabview for one view doesn't really make sense. I guess I can go with more buttons in the main view, but any other alternatives? What can one use to add more operation(s) to tabview? Thanks

  So, we have an ASP.Net application - fairly standard - and in there are lots of updatepanels, and postbacks. In some cases we have a progressupdate control which just has a spinny icon in the middle of the page. But none of them seem particularly nice and all a bit clunky. They also require a lot of code in various places around the app. What methods do other people use and find effective?

Tab Bar UI is missing from MainViewController. I know that if I point to TabBarController it is going to be fine. But I need to pass some data exactly to MainViewController. • sIFR works, except for one word in my navigation bar

  Hi there, My website uses sIFR and it all seems to work great, except for one word in my navigation bar. The navigation links all work, but the word "Zoeken" (= Search) in front of the search form doesn't get changed to the desired font type. I have checked the header.php of my site, as well as the CSS, but any of the changes that I made, don't seem to work. Could anyone help me out? I am hoping it's just a "piece of cake", but my knowledge of sIFR is close to non-existent. Many thanks! Jasper

• How do you hide Windows 7 Explorer Toolbar and Property Bar?

  In Windows 7, Windows Explorer has a large bar just above the status bar that contains properties of the highlighted item. Is it possible to hide this? It takes up a significant amount of screen space I'd prefer using in the file listing. Also, is it possible to hide the tool bar for the same reason? That's what I'm calling the bar near the top with "Organize, Open, Include in Library, Share With..."

• Mavericks Instalation freeze! - please advice. Progress Bar not moving

  It says "Time remaining: About 39 minutes" or it goes to 42, then 36, but the blue progress bar doesn't move. I've wait more than 1 hour, and the progress bar is still there. i reboot, and the same thing occours again. Progress bar freeze. What can I do? I wish NOT to loose the data there present.   Sometimes I need to move an url from an app to a browser. I select the url, say in gvim, and make Firefox window active. Then I see that I should clear address bar before pasting the new url, which requires selecting existing url, which wipes the new url from PRIMARY clipboard out. What is the best way to put the new url from PRIMARY clipboard to address bar? Is there a shortcut to clear address bar and then to move focus there? ps I know I can use Ctrl-C to put the new url to CLIPBOARD clipboard, but I prefer to use PRIMARY clipboard.

• Hidden Launch Bar wouldn't slide-out when moused over, now it won't hide away.

  When the launch bar is hidden, I have trouble getting it to slide out when I move the mouse pointer to the left side. After adjusting the settings under Settings--Appearance--Behavior, the bar no longer hides when a browser is open. Is there a fix for this. This all happened when I was looking for a way to change the icon sizes in the launch bar. Documentation from Linux.com told me to do it under Settings--Appearance, but there was no way to do it. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

• I just updated to 12.04 from 11.10 and now the Unity bar is very sluggish and even the menus do not show on the panel

  Like the title says, I just upgraded to 12.04, I know it is only beta but I'm having problems with the Unity bar and the panel with the menus. First the Unity bar is acting very sluggish..I really don't know how to explain it. Also with the menu at the top, it keeps a strange little black bar on everything, even across my tabs in Firefox, it also doesn't let me see any of the menus, well they flicker and you sort of have to guess where everything is. I'm at a loss, I've already ran updates a couple of times to see if I missed something. I really hope I don't have to completely redo my whole Ubuntu setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any other way to only show every other time label or every 4th one, I read through the docs but could not see how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
