Edit I need to consider this because: (Hopely I am not wrong...) Each Asp.net application runs in an separate/isolated AppDomain as opposed to a separate/isolated process. A native executable cannot live in an AppDomain. to be continued... Shortly speaking, I hope my site does not spawn a new process for each request. Because a process is more expensive than an application domain.

• Caching the repository index in m2eclipse

  everytime i start with a fresh new workspace, m2eclipse downloads nexus-maven-repository-index.gz from the maven central repository. this is good. but, some times, i just want to start a new workspace, and not wait for it to download, it tried copying the whole .metadata directory from an old workspace to the new one, but the list of maven artifacts are still empty. is there a way i can cache it? or at least download the file once, and the copy/extract/repackage it so that m2eclipse thinks it has already downloaded it and allows me to search for maven artifacts. or a short version of the question where and in what format is the "nexus-maven-repository-index.gz" file stored in the workspace?

• curl cookie not creating on success

  Hi I'm using cUrl(PHP) to post a login request and store response in cookie file. In my second request I'm passing cookie in header and post data to verify it. Issue is that cookie file is not created in first succesful request results in failure for second request.   I am inspecting some interesting behaviors of browser, I don't know it's in standard or not. If I put everythin inside <head></head>, the browser will only begin to render the page after all the resouces in head is retrieved. So I am thinking that put as little as possible things into head is one of the important website optimization techniques, is it right? My question is: If I put script/css in body or other parts of the html, how can I know that script has been loaded successfully so that I will not be calling a undefined function?

  I am going to test my website speed, primary the webserver latency. Summarize what I want to achieve: 1) a webpage with javascript hosted in my website(http://myweb.com/test-speed.html) 2) I give this url to my friends 3) They don't need to do anything, they just need to access this webpage then the latency is printed out in the webpage. 4) If the webpage can also tell which state the visitor is in(using IP address range database), it will be a plus. Any existing solutions? I can modify the javascript to log the data into database, but I think the core here is how to writ the javascript to know the latency.
