What is the best approach to embed mp4 for the iPhone without using JavaScript?

I am trying to troubleshoot this code and am running into a dead-end, so I thought I would ask my first question here. I have three questions: 1) What is the best approach to embed an mp4 for an iPhone specific view, preferably without using Javascript? 2) Are there any preferred practices to debug code on an iPhone? 3) Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my specific code below? I should mention upfront that the variable $fileName does indeed contain the correct info, I've just omitted that portion of the code. Also, the poster image does flicker for a brief moment before I receive the greyed out, broken QuickTime image so that is an indication that this is partially working. Hey there, I need help with a oracle query. Excuse me in advance for my english. Here is my setup: I have 2 tables called respectively "tasks" and "timesheets". The "tasks" table is a recursive one, that way each task can have multiple subtasks. Each timesheet is associated with a task (not necessarily the "root" task) and contains the number of hours worked on it. Example: Tasks id:1 | name: Task A | parent_id: NULL id:2 | name: Task A1 | parent_id: 1 id:3 | name: Task A1.1 | parent_id: 2 id:4 | name: Task B | parent_id: NULL id:5 | name: Task B1 | parent_id: 4 Timesheets id:1 | task_id: 1 | hours: 1 id:2 | task_id: 2 | hours: 3 id:3 | task_id:3 | hours: 1 id:5 | task_id:5 | hours:1 ... What I want to do: I want a query that will return the sum of all the hours worked on a "task hierarchy". How to query an .NET assembly's required framework (not CLR) version?

Hi, we are using some kind of plug-in architecture in one of our products (based on .NET). We have to consider our customers or even 3rd party devs writing plug-ins for the product. The plug-ins will be .NET assemblies that are loaded by our product at run-time. We have no control about the quality or capabilities of the external plug-ins (apart from checking whether they implement the correct interfaces). So we need to implement some kind of safety check while loading the plug-ins to make sure that our product (and the hosting environment) can actually host the plug-in or deliver a meaningful error message ("The plug-in your are loading needs .NET version 42.42 - the hosting system is only on version 33.33."). Ideally the plug-ins would do this check internally, but our experience regarding their competence is so-so and in any case our product will get the blame, so we want to make sure that this "just works". Requiring the plug-in developers to provide the info in the metadata or to explicitly provide the information in the interface is considered "too complicated". I know about the Assembly.ImageRuntimeVersion property. But to my knowledge this tells me only the needed CLR version, not the framework version. And I don't want to check all of the assembly's dependencies and match them against a table of "framework version vs. available assemblies". Do you have any ideas how to solve this in a simple and maintainable fashion? Thanks & regards, Bon

JSP displaying source code instead of executing

I'm new to jsp and have ran into some trouble. Initially, the jsp file and associated java classes were built and tested fine on a test Tomcat server. Now, they've been transitioned to another server of what I believe is the same setup (except it's linux now instead of windows). But when the jsp page is accessed the source code is displayed instead of the jsp actually executing. I've googled for a while but received no success. I had thought that this page might solve the problem since there was no reference to the jsp file I was using or even the following snippets in my web.xml file in the WEB-INF folder: <servlet> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <servlet-class>org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet</servlet-class> <init-param> <param-name>logVerbosityLevel</param-name> <param-value>WARNING</param-value> </init-param> <load-on-startup>3</load-on-startup> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> I tried inserting these lines and restarting Tomcat, but no success. I want that its name would be the page address. For example, if page has heading "Some Page", than its address should be http://somesite/some_page/. "some_page"-name generated by system automatically. "some_page" - is the unique identifier of page. The problem in that the user in the future can enter a name which already exists that will cause an error. It is necessary to find an optimum variant of the decision of a problem for great volumes of the data. I have solved a problem as follows: The page identifier in a database is the name of page and a suffix which is by default equal to zero. At page addition there is a check on existence. If such page does not exist, the suffix is equal 0 and its name is "some_page", if page is exist, than - search for the maximum number of a suffix and suffix=suffix+1 and page name become "some_page_1". Why would the first empty() ommit the __isset? Or am I missing something here?

But, Herb Sutter wrote that: The Employee class isn't shown, but for this to work it must either have a conversion to string or a conversion ctor taking a string. But Employee has a conversion function and conversion constructor as well. GCC version 4.4.3. Compiled normally, g++ file.cpp without any flags. There should be implicit conversion and it should work, why it doesn't?

I have a basic quiz/survey type application I'm working on, and I'd like to give the user a prompt before they submit if they haven't answered all the questions. Eclipse Ant Builder problem

I made a custom ant script to automatically create a jar file each time I do a build. This is how it looks like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <project name="TestProj" basedir="." default="jar"> <property name="dist" value="dist" /> <property name="build" value="bin/test/testproj" /> <target name="jar"> <jar destfile="${dist}/TestProj.jar"> <manifest> <attribute name="Main-Class" value="test.testproj.TestProj" /> </manifest> <fileset dir="${build}" /> </jar> </target> </project> I added it by Right clicking my project properties builders clicked new Ant builder then I specified the location of the above xml file. However, when I run it by doing: java -jar TestProj.jar I get a NoClassDefFoundError test/testproj/TestProj I'm using Eclipse in Ubuntu. TestProj is the name of the class and it's in package test.testproj I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the manifest and probably the location of the xml file as well but I'm not sure how to fix this. Any ideas?

SQL Standard Regarding Left Outer Join and Where Conditions

I am getting different results based on a filter condition in a query based on where I place the filter condition. My questions are: Is there a technical difference between these queries? Is there anything in the SQL standard that explains the different resultsets in the queries? Given the simplified scenario: --Table: Parent Columns: ID, Name, Description --Table: Child Columns: ID, ParentID, Name, Description --Query 1 SELECT p.ID, p.Name, p.Description, c.ID, c.Name, c.Description FROM Parent p LEFT OUTER JOIN Child c ON (p.ID = c.ParentID) WHERE c.ID IS NULL OR c.Description = 'FilterCondition' --Query 2 SELECT p.ID, p.Name, p.Description, c.ID, c.Name, c.Description FROM Parent p LEFT OUTER JOIN Child c ON (p.ID = c.ParentID AND c.Description = 'FilterCondition') I assumed the queries would return the same resultsets and I was surprised when they didn't. I am using MS SQL2005 and in the actual queries, query 1 returned ~700 rows and query 2 returned ~1100 rows and I couldn't detect a pattern on which rows were returned and which rows were excluded. There were still many rows in query 1 with child rows with data and NULL data. I prefer the style of query 2 (and I think it is more optimal), but I thought the queries would return the same results.

What is the best way to store static data in C# that will never change

I have a class that stores data in asp.net c# application that never changes. I really don't want to put this data in the database - I would like it to stay in the application. I have some functions that can query the data above too. But is this the best way to store information in asp.net? if not what would you recommend?

Input html tag not parsing properly in php

I have a database with names that I would like displayed in the form of a table with checkboxes. Everything works until I try to place the html tag into my php code. How do I copy files into an existing JAR file with Ant?

I have a project that needs to access resources within its own JAR file. When I create the JAR file for the project, I would like to copy a directory into that JAR file (I guess the ZIP equivalent would be "adding" the directory to the existing ZIP file). I only want the copy to happen after the JAR has been created (and I obviously don't want the copy to happen if I clean and delete the JAR file). Currently the build file looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <project name="foobar" basedir=".." default="jar">  <property name="project.path" value="my/project/dir/foobar" /> <patternset id="project.include"> <include name="${project.path}/**" /> </patternset> <patternset id="project.jar.include"> <include name="${project.path}/**" /> </patternset> <import file="common-tasks.xml" /> <property name="jar.file" location="${test.dir}/foobar.jar" /> <property name="manifest.file" location="misc/foobar.manifest" /> </project> Some of the build tasks are called from another file (common-tasks.xml), which I can't display here. Array Indexing Properties of A Class

I have a class that has several properties: class Person { string Name; int Age; DateTime BirthDate; } Then I have a sort of wrapper class with a List<Person>. Within this wrapper class I want to be able to do something like Wrapper["Name"] that returns a new List<string> using .Select(x=>x.Name). How do I create a wrapper class around an IEnumerable that supports mapping a string to the Property name? Something like the pseudo code below, but obviously it doesn't work. I'm 99.9% sure the solution will have to use Reflection and thats fine. class Wrapper { List<Person> PersonList; List<dynamic> this[string Column] { return PersonList.Select(x => x.[Column]).ToList(); } } This may not seem like a good design, but its a fix to eventually enable the correct design from .NET 2.0 days. As I have it right now, the data is stored in Columns, so there is actually a List of Lists within my class right now. Using the above example there would be three ILists (with a string Title) Name, Age, and Birthdate. Everything is currently predicated on addressing the columns by their "string" name. I'm trying to convert the data structure to row based with an IEnumberable interface to allow Linq eventually while still maintaining the functionality of my current code. Is converting the code to a Row based IEnumberable a good idea?

highlight page selected in pagination?
