• How do I save data without using sessions for postback in MVC?

  I have 2 texboxes and 1 needs validation. I have this setup with Html.ValidationSummary display. I would like to keep the data that has been entered on the validation postback. Instead the page is refreshed and the data is lost which makes the user enter the data again. How do I prevent that without using sessions?

  Hi!, I have setup svnserve server (1.6.5,plain, without apache) on Fedora. I start the svnserve with the command 'svnserve -d --foreground --listen-port=3690 -r /usr/local/svn-repos/proj-test' When user trying to checkout working copy from the local machine with command 'svn checkout svn://127.0.0.1/proj-test' gets following error svn: URL 'svn://127.0.0.1/proj-test' doesn't exists but, 'svn checkout svn://localhost/proj-test' works. I am curious to know why using 127.0.0.1 with svn:// fails? Thanks. Banani

• Wordpress > Transfer google verification file to root directory on plugin activation/install

  I've got a wordpress plugin which presets several settings in a wordpress site and creates some default pages which are the same for all my sites. I would like to include an html file in my plugin zip package that is placed into the site's root directory "as is" (same file name, etc) The file is my google verification file, which is the same for all my sites, so I'd like to save a few steps and automate the process of installing it, along with my default setup steps that my plugin handles. Any help, much appreciated.

  I have a table body that grabs it's rows (and form fields) via AJAX on various events. Everything is working fine, except one part: I can't obtain form data from any of the table's rows after it gets manipulated. I've played around with the live() function, but I can't seem to get the right setup to pull in the form data. Any ideas?

  i am using below code to print my content of webpage in asp.net using javascript window.print(document.getElementById('dvPrint')); when i do print, it automatically adds date time on page.. (i think because of page setup) in firefox. please tell me how can i remove this setting. i mean i dont want datetime to be printed automatically on my print page (even if its set in pagesetup).

These inputs are wrote (appended to) a text file named var.txt like so: input[0]='192.0.0.1' input[1]='username' input[2]='example.com' input[3]='/home/newuser' Now what I am trying to accomplish is to be able to read from var.txt from a script kinda like this: useradd var.txt/${input[1]} now I know that wont work just using it for an example.   hi, I am trying to install SQL server 2008 express on windows 7 64 bit machine using the following command: Setup.exe /qs /Action=Install /Features=SQL /InstanceName=XXX /SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS="Builtin\Administrators" /SQLSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" I can not access the database and get "access denied" error. I narrowed down the issue to the /SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS="Builtin\Administrators" parameter not working. When I change this parameter value to currnet user or try manual install it works Any idea is appreciated.

• After Repo sync, there are no files int he directory.

  I've setup a new Repo for Android source code, and after executing the repo sync, there are no files in the repo directory. Did I miss something? I used: repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git repo initialized in /home/tarandeep/code/Android repo sync ... It downloaded GBs of data (I can confirm via network monitor) and then nothing appeared in the Android directory.
