• Can anybody help me in designing my UITableView into MVC Pattern ?

  I have written a ViewController in which i get data from the internet and display it in a UItableview using a json parser which uses object for key to identify its objects. What i would like your help in is to convert it into MVC pattern to make it less clumsy instead of including everything in the same controller class. Please try explaining it to me in terms of my code. THANKS IN ADVANCE. • Memory is full with vertex buffer

  I'm having a pretty strange problem that I didn't think I'd run into. I was able to store a 50x50 grid in one vertex buffer finally, in hopes of better performance. Before I had each cube have an individual vertex buffer and with 4 50x50 grids, this slowed down my game tremendously. But it still ran. With 4 50x50 grids with my new code, that's only 4 vertex buffers. With the 4 vertex buffers, I get a memory error. When I load the game with 1 grid, it takes forever to load and with my previous version, it started up right away. The array I'm reading from is a byte array which defines the coordinates of my map. Now with my old version, I used the same loading from an array so that hasn't changed. The only difference is the one vertex buffer instead of 2500 for a 50x50 grid. cubes is just a normal list that holds all my cubes for the vertex buffer. Another thing that just came to mind would be my draw calls. If I'm setting an effect for each cube in my cube list, that's probably going to take a lot of memory. How can I avoid doing this? • How can I make this script output each categories item per category [closed]

  Ok so here is the deal currently this script outputs all the products in a parent category as well as the products in the child categories. What i would like to do is seperate the output based on child categories. All the child categories are in the array $children and the string $childs. The parent category is the first array element of $children with the following ones being the actual children. The category names are stored in the database $result as " $cat_name ". I want to first Display the cat_name then the products that fall in that category and then display the next child cat_name and items, ect. • Windows 7 UAC manifest file for some VB6 application

  Hi, all, I have an old VB6 application which should run on Windows 7 (with UAV set to the default level, 3 of 4 IMHO). It has the functionality to update itself, and Windows 7 is now complaining that it would modify the computer (At least windows 7 is right here). I was able to run it in Vista with some kind of manifest file, but this does not seem to work anymore (which is the intended behaviour if I think of it).   I get this error "Could not complete the operation due to error 80020101." at random times when displaying a map with a marker on it. I use Delphi 2007 and GMLib [1.2.0 Final]. I have read up on the issue and some suggestions was that the problem is due to commenting or bad syntax in java code, and it was suggested that i take out all the commenting and check for errors in the java code. This i did, i recompiled and reinstalled GMLib after modifying the map.html file. I stripped it of all commenting and parsed it through ie for faults but found none, as expected. But the problem still occurs.   I have got wierd problem going on. I am trying to connect to Apple server via TCP/SSL. I am using a Client certificate provided by Apple for push notifications. I installed the certificate on my server (Win2k3) in both Local Trusted Root certificates and Local Personal Certificates folder. Now I have a class library that deals with that connection, when i call this class library from a console application running from the server it works absolutely fine, but when i call that class library from an asp.net page or asmx web service I get the following exception. A call to SSPI failed, see inner exception. The message received was unexpected or badly formatted. This is driving me nuts. If the console application can connect fine, there must be some problem with asp.net network layer security that is failing the authentication... not sure, perhaps need to add something or some sort of security policy in the web.config. Also just to point out that i can connect fine on my local development machine both with console and website. Anyone has got any ideas?

  OK I've seen a few people with this issue - but I'm already using a file path, not a relative path. My code works fine on my PC, but when another developer goes to upload an image they get this error. I thought it was a security permission thing on the folder - but the system account has full access to the folder (though I get confused about how to test which account the application is running under). • WCF listenBacklog and maxConnections can't be set higher than 10. Why not?

  My service works great under low load. But under high load I start to get connection errors. I know about other settings but I am trying to change the listenBacklog parameter in particular for my TCP Buffered binding. If I set listenBacklog="10" I am able to telnet into the port where my WCF service is running. If I change listenBacklog to anything higher than 10 it will not let me telnet into my service when it is running. No errors seem to be thrown. What can I do? I get the same problem when I change my maxConnections away from 10. All other properties of the binding I can set higher without a problem.   I'm having a WCF Service that uses wsHttpBinding. It works great if I have limited functions say 90 Operation Contract in my IService but if add one more OperationContract than I'm unable to Update the Service reference nor i'm able to add that service reference. In this article it's mentioned that by changing those config files(i.e devenv.exe.config, WcfTestClient.exe.config and SvcUtil.exe.config) it will work but even including those bindings in those config files still that error pops up saying There was an error downloading 'http://10.0.3.112/MyService/Service1.svc/mex'. The request failed with HTTP status 400: Bad Request. Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'http://10.0.3.112/MyService/Service1.svc/mex'. There is an error in XML document (1, 89549). The maximum nametable character count quota (16384) has been exceeded while reading XML data. The nametable is a data structure used to store strings encountered during XML processing - long XML documents with non-repeating element names, attribute names and attribute values may trigger this quota. This quota may be increased by changing the MaxNameTableCharCount property on the XmlDictionaryReaderQuotas object used when creating the XML reader. Line 1, position 89549. If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again. Any idea how to solve this????

  I am trying to install a SSL certificate on IIS 7. I have download a free trial certificate. After that, this is the steps what I do: Click the Start menu and select Administrative Tools. Start Internet Services Manager and click the Server Name. In the center section, double click on the Server Certificates button in the Security section. From the Actions menu click Complete Certificate Request. Enter the location for the certificate file. Enter a Friendly name. Click OK. Under Sites select the site to be secured with the SSL certificate. From the Actions menu, click Bindings.This will open the Site Bindings window. In the Site Bindings window, click Add. This opens the Add Site Binding window. Select https from the Type menu. Set the port to 443. Select the SSL Certificate you just installed from the SSL Certificate menu. Click OK. This is the step where I get the message: One or more intermediate certificates in the certificate chain are missing. To resolve this issue, make sure that all of intermediate certificates are installed. For more information, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954755 After this, when I access the web site on its first page, I get this message: There is a problem with this website's security certificate. What am I doing wrong?

  I have a large vb.net web project that I am trying to updgrade to .net4/VS2010. During compile I get the following error: 'System.Web.Security.MembershipUser' in assembly 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' has been forwarded to assembly 'System.Web.ApplicationServices'. Either a reference to 'System.Web.ApplicationServices' is missing from your project or the type 'System.Web.Security.MembershipUser' is missing from assembly 'System.Web.ApplicationServices'. I researched the issue and the error is accurate. I added a reference to System.Web.ApplicationServices but I am still having problems. The project does not seem to recognize that the reference has been added. Intellisense will not pick it up, I can not use it in an Import statement, etc ... The assembly is listed in the compile section of my web.config: <assemblies> ... <add assembly="System.Web.ApplicationServices, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35"/> </assemblies> Any ideas?

  I've created a simple WCF service but when I use Visual Studio to add a service reference, this error comes up. The message with Action '' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to a ContractFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. This may be because of either a contract mismatch (mismatched Actions between sender and receiver) or a binding/security mismatch between the sender and the receiver. Check that sender and receiver have the same contract and the same binding (including security requirements, e.g. Message, Transport, None).   If I have a property whose display format is dependent on the value of another property in the view model how do I create a display template for it? The combination of field1's display being dependent on field2's value will be used throughout the app and I would like to encapsulate this in a MVC 2 display template. To be more specific, I've already create a display template (Social.ascx) for custom data type Social that masks a social security number for display. For instance, XXX-XX-1234. [DataType("Social")] public string SocialSecurityNumber { get; set; } All employees also have an employeeID. Certain companies use the employee's social security number as either the whole employee id or as part of it. I need to also mask the employeeID if it contains the social. I'd like to create another display template (EmpID.ascx) to perform this task. [DataType("EmpID")] public string EmployeeID { get; set; } The problem is that I don't know how to get both properties in the "EmpID" template to be able to perform the comparison.
