How to set the title as left alignment in the UIButton.

Hi Guys, I need to dispaly the email address from left side of a UIButton, But it is getting in the center. Is there any way to set the alignment to the left side of a UIButton. ASP.NET MVC 2 Dynamic QueryString Management

Hello All, I am very new to ASP.NET MVC and currently, I am involved in developing a new application in ASP.NET MVC 2. I am having problem in managing a long querystring parameters that comes from dBase. For example, in any non-mvc app the following URL works well: http ://example.com/test.aspx?first_name=fname&last_name=lname&email_id=email&address1=add1&address2=add2&city=city&state=state&zip_code=zip and so on. The QueryString parameter can be determined on the fly (i.e. at run-time). Now for dynamic QueryString how routing will be done? Also for a simple URL, the URL will be as follows (in ASP.NET MVC): http ://example.com/test/id/category But for above mentioned dynamic & long QueryString how the URL will look like? Rails ActionMailer problems on Mac

I've been working on learning to use Rails the last couple days and I've run into something that I haven't been able to solve with Google. So I'm just creating a basic contact form that sends an email. Everything seems to be working ok in testing, which tells me that the form is working, and ActionMailer was implemented correctly, however, I'm having trouble configuring ActionMailer. I'm running OSX 10.6.2. I have postfix running and have verified that it's running using telnet localhost 25. When I try to use the form I get a "Connection refused" error. This is my current configuration: config.action_mailer.smtp_settings = { :address => 'localhost', :port => 25 } I thought I might need to set :domain but I'm kind of confused on what that should be set to in this situation.

Most user-friendly issue tracker?

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find anything specific. I'm looking for the most user-friendly issue tracker. Currently I'm using Trac. I'm looking for these 2 features: Very easy to create new ticket Email to ticket conversion (with attachements). The customers should be glad to use it (not avoid it like Trac). More often than not I get e-mails as bug reports and putting them into Trac wastes my time. I would really love to just hit forward and the ticket would appear in the issue tracker.

Clear fields on CreateUserWizard, Login control

I have a createuserwizard and a login control on a page. both of them are customized (standard textboxes are replaced by RadTextBoxes) When i enter a value in the form and refresh the browser without submitting, the forms retain their values. Is there any way i can clear these fields on refresh. Facebook Canvas Apps, New API

I'm having some trouble with switching to the new JS API for a number of things with creating applications within FB, specifically the "Tab".  This no longer works for me when called via an onclick command. Also, with the new API and an FBML app. How does this exactly work? The documentation is really poor so I am confused when looking at the old wiki, and the new developer site. Apologies for being pretty vague, but I'm just generally confused with the lack of clear direction with the new API and help would be greatly appreciated. I'm simply just trying to create a call that prompts for the new style user permission dialog, and oncomplete calls another JS function.

IIS7 Custom Errror Handling Troubles for Classic ASP Website

I recently upgraded a web server from IIS6 to IIS7 for a classic asp application and now experience a bizarre error. In the IIS6 set up there was a custom 500-100 page that functioned properly by capturing errors and delivering an email with error code, error source and error type values. That same structure was set up on the IIS7 machine but now the error emails contain no error information at all. They all come through values such as 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR CODE', 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR DESCRIPTION', 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR SOURCE'. Any one have some thoughts on why my custom error page cannot capture the error information?

CURL Authentication being lost?

I am authenticating a login via CURL just fine. I have a variable I am using to display the returned HTML, and it is returning my user control panel as if I am logged in. After authenticating, I want to communicate variables with a form on another page within the site; but for some reason the HTML from that page is returning a non-authenticated version of the header (as if the original authentication never took place.) I have a cookies.txt file with 777 permissions, and have tried just getting the contents of the same page shown when I authenticate and it is as if I am losing any associated session/cookie data somewhere along the way. My project is in early development. I frequently delete the database and run manage.py syncdb to set up my app from scratch. Unfortunately, this always pops up: You just installed Django's auth system, which means you don't have any superusers defined. Would you like to create one now? (yes/no): Then you have supply a username, valid email adress and password. This is tedious. I'm getting tired of typing test\[email protected]\ntest\ntest\n. How can I automatically skip this step and create a user programatically when running manage.py syncdb ?

Graph Theory: How to compute closeness centrality for each node in a set of data?

I'd like to learn how to apply network theory to my own cache of relational data. I'm trying to build a demo of a new way of browsing a music library, using network theory, that I think would make for a very intuitive and useful way of finding the right song at any given time. I have all the data (artists as nodes, similarity from 0 to 1 between each artist and those it is related to) and I can already program, but I don't know how to actually calculate the centrality of a node from that. I've spent a while trying to email different professors at my school but no one seems to know where I can learn this. I hope someone's done something similar. Thanks in advance you guys! ~Jordan

redirect to a route alias on a form validation error

If I'm on a route alias such as /register and I have a form error and I render :new, is it possible for the path to be /register still? At the moment it is rendering /new I could do a redirect_to register_path but then I would lose the params? It's making the following test fail: Scenario: Try registering with a bad staff number Given I am on the registration page When I fill in "email" with "[email protected]" And I fill in "First Name" with "Kevin" And I fill in "last name" with "Monk" And I fill in "Employee Number" with "something barking123" And I press "Register" Then I should be on the registration page And I should see "Your employee ID number looks incorrect."

Hi, the below code was working till few days back, but all of the sudden it started giving exception <cfpop action="getall" name="qMessage" server="mail.forestweb.com" port="995" username="email***@industryintel.com" password="******" timeout="30" /> I am running this code every 10 minutes to fetch the emails. And getting following exceptions: Message: An exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters. Problems with matching emails with regex

Hello, I'm trying to match an email address here is what I've come up with so far : String text = "[email protected]"; String regex = "(\\w+)@{1}(\\w+){2,}\\.{1}\\w{2,4}"; This however works with following cases : [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] So it matches any alphanumeric character repeated once or more that comes before one @ followed by any alphanumeric character repeated at least two times(which is minimal characters for any domain name) followed by one .(dot) and followed by any alphanumeric character repeated at least 2 times and at most 4 times(because there are domains such as .us or .mobi). This expression however does not work with emails such as : [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] etc as many subdomains or [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] I've just started to learn regex and I found interesting to try to solve problems such as these by using regex .. not partially but for each case, any help would be much appriciated. What URL scheme would be better for "nested" resources in a RESTful application?

Let's say we want a RESTful web service to manage some logically nested resources, where each instance of resource 'B' is logically contained by an instance of resource 'A'. The first example that comes to mind, working as a sysadmin, is email accounts and their domains: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] ... What URL scheme would you suggest? At first I'd try: /domain/[domainname] /domain/[domainname]/account/[accountname] is that in line with RESTful principles? or should I go with something like: /domain/[domainname] /account/[account@domainname]/ or anything else?

ColdFusion Server crash after thousands of HTTP requests

We are running ColdFusion 8 on a windows server 2003 VPS with an API that exposes student records to a partner API through a connector. Our API returns around 50k student records serialized in XML format pretty seamlessly. My question originates when something very frightening happened today when we tested our connector to our partners API. Our entire website and web host went down. We assumed that our host was just having some issues and after 4 hours with no resolution and no response from their customer service we finally got a response from them claiming that they had an "unauthorized user" in their network. After our server was back up we were unable to connect to our website as if the web service or coldfusion itself had froze. This is really where my concern comes from as I fear we may have overloaded the web service. As I mentioned before we tried sending over 50k HTTP POST requests over to our partner's API, however everything stopped after around 1.6k Is this bad practice or is there some sort of rate limiting I can relax somewhere in server configuration? We managed to find a workaround, but it bypasses our connector which is critical to our design. This would have been a one time deal as the purpose of so many requests was to populate our partner's website with current data, after that hourly syncs will keep requests down to around 100 per hour. UPDATE Our partner API is owned and operated by Pardot. We are converting students to prospects by passing student data to their API which unfortunately only seems to accept one student at a time. For that reason we have to do all 50k requests individually. Our server has 4GB of RAM, an Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.8GHz running Windows Server 2003 SP2. I monitored the server during a 100 student sync, a 400 student sync, and a 1.4k student sync with the following results: 100 students - 2.25GB of Memory, 30-40% CPU utilization, 0.2-0.3% network bandwidth 400 students - 2.30GB of Memory, 30-50% CPU utilization, 0.2-1.0% network bandwidth 1.4k students - 2.30GB of Memory, 30-70% CPU utilization, 0.2-1.0% network bandwidth I know this is a far cry from 50k students, but I don't want to risk taking down our CMS system again assuming that was the cause.
