  Has anybody some information about accessing Lotus Domino server to fetch entire mail contents by http(s) requests from php linux server? The article by Andrei Kouvchinnikov describes well how to fetch message list in notes mail folders; after obtaining session id during login one can for example select top 100 messages by calling: https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)?ReadViewEntries&Start=1&Count=100 And this works perfectly. The arises when I am trying to get message contents (0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811 is an example message unique Id): https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)/0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811/?OpenDocument Such request in IE shows frameset with data hard to parse, in less common browsers like Opera it informs about unsupported browser. Ideally if it is possible to fetch notes message contents and all attachments by requesting it in the url, has anybody some information what request would it be? Link to Lotus web calls reference would be even more beneficial.

  Hi all, I wanted to have users within my website to have their own URL like http://mysite.com/username (similar to GitHub, e.g. my account is http:// github. com/sr3d). This would help with SEO since every profile is under the same domain, as apposed to the sub-domain approach. My site is running on Rails and Nginx/Passenger. Currently I have a solution using a bunch of rewrite in the nginx.conf file, and hard-coded controller names (with namespace support as well). I can share include the nginx.conf here if you guys want to take a look. I wanted to know if there's a better way of making the URL pretty like that. (If you suggest a better place to post this question then please let me know) Cheers, Alex

• Ask a DNS server what sites it hosts - and how to possibly prevent misuse

  I've got a server which I host my company website as well as some of my clients. I noticed a domain which I created, but never used, was being attacked by a poke and hope hacker. I imagine that the hacker collected the domain from either hitting my DNS server and requesting what domains are hosted. So, in the interest of prevention and better server management, how would I ask my own DNS server (Linux CentOS 4) what sites are being hosted on it? Also, is there a way to prevent these types of attacks by hiding this information? I would assume that DNS servers would need to keep some information public, but I'm not sure if there is something that most hosts do to help prevent these bandwidth wasting poke and hope attacks.   This occurred after a Trojan incident. We managed to get the Trojan cleaned off the computer, but now we can't Right click the desktop. We have tried changing HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/current version/policies/explorer/noviewcontextmenu in the registry, and group policy user configuration/administrative templates/windows explorer/remove windows explorers default context menu, but neither worked. How do we reenable the right-click menu for the desktop? (it works everywhere else)

  I am using Grails Webflow, what ever object I pass to a view, it must be Serialized. My domain models "implement Serializable", so they work. The problem is when I get a response from a WebService. It is of the org.json.JSONArray class. I just want to pass the whole Array over to the view yet it doesn't implement Serializable, so it fails, Any thoughts on how I can pass this, or my best option? Can I just edit the source of the org.json library and make every class "imp Serializable"? Or process the result into Domain objects that do "imp Serializable"

I have several laptops that were encrypten using BitLocker (and they're reporting to the MBAM Console), but I can't manage the TPM password since they're not "owned" by the server. • LocalUser access for WCF hosted in IIS

  I have tried every combination to allow unauthenticated access to WCF as in "LocalUser" accounts, in IIS without success. Here is what I've most recently tried: wsHttpBinding with Message security and mode set to "None". IIS anonymous access enabled, all others disabled, folder level access at default (but granted read access to "Users" which is all users in our domain). I understand I may not have provided enough information to solve the issue, but perhaps somebody can point me in the right direction - is this likely to be a IIS configuration issue or a WCF configuration issue... if WCF, is it likely to be a client level or server level issue? The error I get when attempting to access here is "User is not authenticated". We have ASMX services in the domain which are behaving properly, I am the first developer using WCF here.

• Howto allow "Illegal characters in path" ?

  I have a MVC.NET application with one route as follows: routes.MapRoute("member", "member/{id}/{*name}", new { controller = "member", action = "Details", id = "" }, new { id = @"\d+" }); Thus, a link could be something like this: http://domain/member/123/any_kind_of_username This works fine in general but if the path contains illegal characters (e.g. a double qoute: http://domain/member/123/my_"user"_name) I get a "System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path." After much googling the best suggestions seems to be to make sure that the url doesn't contain any such characters. Unfortunately, that is out of my control in this case. Is there a way to work around this?

• Rails ActiveResource Associations

  I have some ARes models (see below) that I'm trying to use associations with (which seems to be wholly undocumented and maybe not possible but I thought I'd give it a try) So on my service side, my ActiveRecord object will render something like render :xml => @group.to_xml(:include => :customers) (see generated xml below) The models Group and Customers are HABTM On my ARes side, I'm hoping that it can see the <customers> xml attribute and automatically populate the .customers attribute of that Group object , but the has_many etc methods aren't supported (at least as far as I can tell) So I'm wondering how ARes does it's reflection on the XML to set the attributes of an object. In AR for instance I could create a def customers=(customer_array) and set it myself, but this doesn't seem to work in ARes. One suggestion I found for an "association" is the just have a method def customers Customer.find(:all, :conditions => {:group_id => self.id}) end But this has the disadvantage that it makes a second service call to look up those customers... not cool I'd like my ActiveResource model to see that the customers attribute in the XML and automatically populate my model. • Sharepoint Foundation 2010 installation problems

  I'm having problems installing development machine for Sharepoint (Foundation) 2010. This is what I did so far on the same machine: Installed a clean Windows 7 x64 with 4GB of RAM without being part of any domain. Just a simple standalone machine. Enabled IIS related features as described here except IIS6 related ones (two of them) Installed SQL Server 2008 R2 Development Edition (DB Engine and Writer being enabled but not SQL Agent) Installed Visual Studio 2010 Premium Started installing Sharepoint Foundation 2010 with first extracting files, changing config to enable Windows 7 installation and then installed it as Server Farm (then Complete) to avoid installing SQL Express. Created a separate SPF_CONFIG local user with Logon on as a service right. Opened SPF Management Shell and run New-SPConfigurationDatabase so I am able to use a non-domain username (SPF_CONFIG that I created in the previous step) But all I get is this: The outcome after this error is: Database Sharepoint2010Config is created User SPF_CONFIG is added to SQL Server and attached to this newly created database as dbowner and checking SQL server security logins this user has following rights: dbcreator securityadmin public

  I am trying to wrap my head around a URL rewrtie / redirect project I need to work on. We currently have this url: www.domain.com/Details/Detail.aspx?param1=8&param2=12345 Here is what the rewritten URL will look like: www.domain.com/Param1/8/Param2/12345 I am using the ISAPI_Rewrite filter to allow for the "nice" url and make the page think it is still using the old url. That works fine. Now, I need to redirect users, if they use the old URL, to the new URL. I fgiure I would need to use a combination of the filter and an HTTPModule / Handler to perfomr the redirect. Any ideas?

  I'm kind of disappointed at Ria Services. I like to work in a domain driven design way, so for example if I'm working with an invoicing system I have an object invoice which will have all methods on it to for example calculate total price from its invoice rows. public decimal Amount { get {return Entries.Sum(x => x.Amount);} } I like to have methods to add a new row to validate in data. public void AddInvoiceRow(Article article, decimal quantity) This is functionality I need on both client and server side. Have I missed something big or is RIA Services not for me? (In the whole, I don't like Silverlight restrictions at all, I mean that we need get; set on every data field we want to transfer for example some fields are not public at all in domain driven design but the technique Silverlight offers forcing us to do bad coding.)

  I am using Word 2007, but saving my documents in .doc (as opposed to .docx) formats because that's company policy. I have the ToC set up fine, but is there a way to have it update automatically (at document open, save or otherwise)? Word help suggests that it should update upon opening the document, but that doesn't seem to happen. Any ideas?

• Tool for parsing smtp logs that finds bounces

  Our web application sends e-mails. We have lots of users, and we get lots of bounces. For example, user changes company and his company e-mail is no longer valid. To find bounces, I parse smtp log file with log parser. Some bounces are great, like 550+#[email protected]. There is [email protected] in bounce. But some do not have e-mail in error message, like 550+No+such+recipient. I have created simple ruby script that parses logs (uses log parser) to find which mail caused something like 550+No+such+recipient. I am just surprised that I could not find a tool that does it. I have found tools like zabbix and splunk for log analysis, but they look like overkill for such simple task. Anybody knows a tool that would parse smtp logs, find bounces and e-mails that cause them? Edit: smtp server is microsoft smtp server.
