• Why Am I Getting a 1090 Error, an XML Parser Error?

  Hi, In my Flex 3 site, I'm getting a 1090 error, an xml parser error in IE only. It works in Safari and Firefox. • rotate an image aroound a point

  Hi all, I have an image which is of rectangular dimension, eg 30 x 60 pixels I want to rotate this image around the bottom center of the image, i.e i want to set the pivot in the above example as (15, 60 )pixel. I am using a drawble and matrix to get this done, whatever i try i always end up rotating around center of the image. • Flash CS4 compiler Error 1120 when embedding pngs into class instance variables.

  I have a Flash CS4 (Flash 9 ActionScript 3.0) project that compiles and runs perfectly on my machine. However it is part of a big batch of fla's that I want to compile on another (faster) machine. When I copy the project (the fla and all actionscripts and assets files) to the faster machine, it's Flash CS4 compiler gives me compiler error 1120 "Access of undefined property ButtonPause_PauseNormal". The property "PauseNormal" is an embedded png. The PNG is available. No transcoder errors.   I'm trying to implement a jQuery slider with increments. I've gone from, the actual project page, to a test page of the project with just the slider, to just the slider. In all cases I've been unable to get the handle to move. It also seems to have a width of 1px or similar. • asp.net calendar control appears below textfield

However, when I click the image button, the calendar controls is displayed "below" the textfield that it is suppoed to populate. • Drawing a relative line in C#

  Guys, I know this is going to turn out to be a simple answer, but I can't seem to figure it out. I have a C# Winform application that I am trying to build. I am trying to draw a white line 60 pixels above the bottom of the form. I am using this code: private void MainForm_Paint(object sender, PaintEventArgs e) { e.Graphics.DrawLine(Pens.White, 10, this.Height-60, 505, this.Height-60); } Simple enough, however no line is drawn. After some debugging, I figured out that it IS drawing the line, but it is drawing it outside my form. If I change the -60 to -175, then I can see it at the bottom of my form. This would solve my problem, except as my form's height changes, the line draws closer and closer to the bottom of my form until eventually, its off the form again. What am I doing wrong? Am I using the wrong graphics unit? Or is there a more complex calculation I need to do to determine 60 pixels from the bottom of my form?

  Going back to the errorplacement solution by Nadia (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/860055/jquery-override-default-validation-error-message-display-css-popup-tooltip-like) I have tried it and it works like a charm in Safari and Firefox but causes IE08 to bypass the jqueryvalidator and go straight to the server side validator.   Hi there. I'm working on a Zend Framework project where I've stumbled across a bit of a problem. The problem originates from the fact that modules are 2nd class citizens in Zend Framework. In my project, I'd like for each module to have a folder containing files which are to be accessed from the outside - files such as stylesheets, javascripts and images. Now, how is this to be done. With a Zend Framework project I have a folder structure which looks like this: application/ modules/ moduleOne/ public/ stylesheet.css moduleTwo/ moduleThree/ public/ index.php The standard .htaccess file located in the public/ folder holds this: SetEnv APPLICATION_ENV development RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L] RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L] The way it works, is that the project's apache DocumentRoot is the public/ folder. All requests gets redirected through the index.php file where Zend Framework's router component takes over. Now, I'm by no means an expert with Apache nor mod_rewrite so pardon me if this is just silly. I imagine that I implement an extra step in the existing rewrite rule so that if I request http://project/public/moduleOne/stylesheet.css it will for instance resolve to /var/www/project/application/modules/moduleOne/public/stylesheet.css. So the steps which need to be done is to check if the first element in the URI is public/ if it is, we take the next segment as the modules name and use that in the path we're trying to resolve to and attempt to serve the file.   Hi, I I have a view in Flex 3 where I use a tab navigator and a number of views inside the tab navigator. I need to be know which view was clicked because of it's one specific view then I need to take action, i.e. if view with id "secondTab" is clicked then do something. I have set it up to be notified, my problem is that I need to be able to know what view it is. • Module based web project directory layout with git and symlinks

  I am planning my directory structure for a linux/apache/php web project like this: Only www.example.com/webroot/ will be exposed in apache www.example.com/ webroot/ index.php module1/ module2/ modules/ module1/ module1.class.php module1.js module2/ module2.class.php module2.css lib/ lib1/ lib1.class.php the modules/ and lib/ directory will only be in the php path. To make the css and js files visible in the webroot directory I am planning to use symlinks. webroot/ index.php module1/ module1.js (symlinked) module2/ module2.css (symlinked) I tried following these principles: layout by modules and libraries, not by file type and not by "public' or 'non public', index.php is an exception. This is for easier development. symlinking files that need to be public for the modules and libs to a public location, but still mirroring the layout. So the module structure is also visible in the resulting html code in the links, which might help development. How will git handle the symlinking of the single files correctly, is there something to consider? When it comes to images I will need to link directories, how to handle that with git? modules/ module3/ module3.class.php img/ img1.jpg img2.jpg img3.jpg They should be linked here: webroot/ module3/ img/ (symlinked ?) So this is a git and symlink question. But I would be interested to hear comments about the php layout, maybe you want to use the comment function for this.

  i'm developing couple of websites using php (directory script, etc.) and wordpress as cms. i need to improve its performance, by using cdn for static files (css, js, images). the problem is, css and javascript files are generated on the fly. i did that due to yahoo and some expert advice to combine the files into one file. also changing basic color of css files. for the time being, i use couple of small vps but still its not fast enough. i already contact maxcdn and the support guy said that they dont have such kind of services. what i need is: a cdn that will serve the request from user/visitor and there's no file in local disk, the cdn will redirect/fetch it from another domain/server. in vps, it could be done easily using combination of .htaccess and php, but NOT in the cdn. most of cdn only support purely static files. is there any such cdn that will server semi-dynamic files?

  I have been having problems with this. I think this should be pretty simple but I cannot seem to get it to work. I want a new image to appear when rolling over my facebook button. • Cursor on Path doesn't appear in SilverLight

  I am trying to draw a circle with a glass effect using Alpha. I am successful in creating that by using the below XAML. The cursor changes to Hand for the Ellipses, but it doesn't affect Path. Basically, I want to show "hand" cursor wherever the mouse appears over the circle. I hope this is not a known issue and I am missing something small. • jquery ui drag and drop showing feedback

  Hi there, I have some drag and drop functionality on my website, I am wanting to hightlight the area that is droppable with a chage in border color when the draggable element is clicked/starting to be dragged. • asp.net ajax toolkit combobox doesn't work in hidden div

  I have a combobox inside a hidden div which I use css display = none to make it invisible, but when I make the div visible by setting display = block, the combobox just show the input and its button and ul list all have css as display = 'none', visibility ='hidden'. I can tell it is done by combobox inbuild javascript because I tried to use javascript to set the css manually with no luck. It is a bug of combobox. Urgent help needed. I spent a week to solve this, and our team put a lot trust on the toolkit. Please help me on this, all javascript gurus, thanks. Below is the code to reproduce the bug. • How do I reliably get the size of my iPhone view taking rotations into consideration?

  My application uses a UITabBarController, multiple UINavigationControllers, and supports autorotation. In order to properly layout the subviews within each UIViewController's main view, I really need to know the size available to the UIViewContoller. I need this size to take the UINavigationBar, the UITabBar, and the status bar all into account, and thus only return the size available to the content view. I thought for sure I could use the following from within the UIViewController's code: CGRect viewControllerBounds = [[self view] bounds]; However, there are a couple of issues with this approach: The first time the view is loaded, viewControllerBounds reports the view as being 320 pixels wide by 460 pixels tall. This is wrong. With a status bar and a navigation bar showing, the height should only be 416 pixels. However, if I rotate the simulator to landscape and then rotate back, the height of viewControllerBounds changes to 416. If I rotate the first view in the navigation controller to landscape mode and then push another view controller onto the stack, viewControllerBounds for the new view reports a width of 300 pixels and a height of 480 pixels. So the view's bounds didn't even take the rotation into account. Is there a better way to do this? I really don't want to have to start hardcoding the widths and heights of all the various UI elements the iPhone OS provides. I have tried setting the autoresizing mask of the UIViewController's view, but that doesn't seem to change anything. The views definitely seem to be displaying properly. When I set a background color that view looks like it takes up all of the space available to it. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
