  • Remove Chrome Loading Notification?

    I am working on a project that runs in Chrome in full-screen mode and displays data that can be edited and interacted with. It makes AJAX calls(using jQuery) frequently that cause a loading notification in the lower left-hand corner on the bottom of the screen to pop up. These notifications are distracting when you are viewing the display and I would like to remove/prevent Chrome from displaying these loading notifications at all. Is it possible to prevent these notification by any means, or perhaps even mask the javascript that causes these notifications?

    Hi all, In Ubuntu, I am running 2 'C' applications, When I press key up/down the applications are alternatively getting the events. What might be the problem/solution? Ex: I have 'A application' and 'B application', I launch 'A application' and press the key up/down its working fine. If I simultaneously launch 'B application' and focus is on 'B application' then pressing key up/down will toggle between 'A application' & 'B application' so 2 times I have to press the key to move on 'B application'(focus is on 'B application'). 'A application' and 'B application' are threads. Thanks in advance-opensid

    Is there an easy way to get a summary string of the errors that have been added to a controller's modelstate? I'm looking to return this in an Ajax method and want the validation errors etc to be returned to the client (i.e. the view does not exist for this method call). Or do I have to loop through the modelstate and look at each object and extract the error text manually?

Map<String, String> failureMessages = new HashMap<String, String>(); for (ConstraintViolation<Person> failure : failures) { failureMessages.put(failure.getPropertyPath().toString(), failure.getMessage()); System.out.println(failure.getPropertyPath().toString()+" - "+failure.getMessage()) } I get this on the console: email - must match "^([a-zA-Z0-9\\-\\.\\_]+)'+'(\\@)([a-zA-Z0-9\\-\\.]+)'+'(\\.)([a-zA-Z]{2,4})$" but I have as email address [email protected], so the regexp does not match. So I have two prolems: What's wrong here?   • Rendering a View without a Master Page

    Heya, I'm fetching a page using ajax (jquery) and appending certain data to the Requests query string to let the server know it shouldn't render the entire Page, just the view in question to the output buffer. I'm having no luck though, I can detect when the page needs to be rendered partially, but everything I've tried so far (including stuff like return PartialView()) isn't working. Any ideas? The results of the execution is correct but the debugging experience is misleading. Is this a known issue? Is the behavior in VS 2010 the same?

    How is it possible to auto start my application or run a process when the user turns on the phone. If you look at ex. Outloock WP7 included in the operating system then updates the icon so that you can see that there are new mail. This is a process in the background running. But I've read a bit about this now, but can not find out that this is possible using the SDK from Microsoft? Is it not possible?? If possible, how does one do that? Notice: I do not want any solution that involves jailbreak.

    Hi, I thought what I was trying to do is quite simple, but apparently nothing related to IE is ever simple. I'm using this with javascript and ajax - document.getElementById("calender").innerText=mypostrequest.responseText it works fine in ff and IE7, but not IE8. I suspect it's because the text contains a table, since I have tested it with other text. I cant replace the table. Is there any way to get around this?

When we double click on it it is showing its main window. :) I could add some criterias to make automatic commit(and maybe update). For ex: if a file changes or if files to be deleted, you can commit. The best part of this program is: "it is FREE" I don't remember exactly but i think it has M name in its name (but i don't remember). I think this program written by an Italian man. And its web site was very simple (and i think its fonts were green)

    I would like to write a simple program in c++. After the program is done i would like to get my answers in form of a graph or picture that would give some certain information if i click on a certain area. i have only written console apllications in c++ before and don't really have a clue where to start with the graphic part of it all. Can I write the first part of the program in console mode and some how run it under the WIN32 later? for ex what will happen to the cout<<"foo"; commands? Is there a simpler approach to do some very basic graphic programming.

  • Export from a standalone database to an embedded database.

    I have a two-part application, where there is a central database that is edited, and then at certain times, the data is released and distributed as its own application. I would like to use a standalone database for the central database (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and then have a reliable export to an embedded database (probably SQLite) for distribution. What tools/processes are available for such an export, or is it a practice to be avoided? EDIT: A couple of additional pieces of information. The distributed application should be able to run without having to connect to another server (ex: your spellchecker still works even you don't have internet), and I don't want to install a full DB server for read-only access to the data.

    I basically have a div on my Web Site that always has the same stuff. However, this div is not present on all pages which is why I won't use the dynamic web template. I was wondering if it was possible for PHP to get the code from a document on the server and put in into the div? Ex: div id="section... then my text file contains (p) hello (p) basically I want PHP to put it into the div when the user sees it. If theres a smarter way of acheiving this I'd be open to it aswell.   • how did i break :method -> :delete

    i refactored my entire application and gave it a whole new design. The one thing that seems to be broken is all the original link_to methods I had which were :method = :delete are now getting sent as a GET request. The only thing I did that I can remember that might cause it is delete jquery-rails from the gemfile (I'm just getting it from google ajax). Does anyone have any other ideas what I could have deleted?
