• Safari Jquery Dialog and Ckeditor

  Hi I am using a CKEditor in a Jquery Dialog... and in Safari the first time it loads it works but each subsequent time it is blank and no buttons or anything else works in the ckeditor... I have looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2539855/ckeditor-instance-in-a-jquery-dialog and added the suggested dialog-patch.js but it doesn't help $("#TextDialog").dialog({height:400,width:650, modal:true,closeOnEscape:true, autoOpen:false, open: function(event, ui) { $("#Text").ckeditor(); }, close: function(event, ui) { CKEDITOR.remove($("#Text").ckeditorGet()); }}); That is my code, and it works it all browsers (well Chrome, IE and FF) but not in Safari!

• Autoscroll on parent panel, when there is overflow on child panels.Extjs

  I'm having a single Parent Panel, which has 2 child panels. One has content dynamically created, while the other is fixed height and width. The Parent panel is using border layout, with center and east regions defined. I'm trying to get autoscroll to trigger on the parent panel when there is an overflow on on the center region panel. I've set the autoscroll option to true to the parent panel, but everytime there is an overflow on the center panel, it just gets cuts off. When I'm adding an overflow to center region panel, i get a scrollbar for that panel alone. I don't need that, but rather I want it on the entire Parent Panel. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions..

• Justified navigation buttons

  I'm trying to create the primary navigation menu for a website that will have a variable amount of primary menu items. The navigation bar is horizontal and has a width of 738px. I would like to have the leftmost item 18px from the left and the rightmost item 18px from the right edge of the element, with the other menu items spread evenly between them. I'm using a tableless layout. So far I haven't been able to make it work exactly like I want. Setting margin: auto doesn't seem to help, and I can't keep the 18px margin on both sides using a table. One idea was to use text-align: justify but it doesn't justify single lines. Is there a simple or less simple way of doing this, or am I going to have to ask the AD to relax his visual requirements?

  I have issues calculating the accurate size of a NSString displayed in a UITextField. My goal is to update the textfield frame size according to the string size programmatically (without using sizeToFit). • centos 6 ps aux hangs up

  I have problem with my server. Server is running centos 6 (CloudLinux Server release 6.2). uname -a = 2.6.32-320.4.1.lve1.1.4.el6.x86_64 That is a kvm guest. On host is debian 6. • Is it possible to resize a SpriteAsset without adding it to the display list?

  Hi guys, I have an embedded image asset (with a scale9 grid), and I'm trying to get the bitmapdata when it's resized, but I can't seem to do this without adding it to the display list. I try this: spriteAsset.setActualSize(w,h); spriteAsset.width = w; bmd.draw(spriteAsset); But when I then draw out the bitmapdata with graphics.beginBitmapFill(), I just get the original un-stretched image. Any pointers? Or do I need to take 9 separate BitmapData images and make 9 separate bitmap fills? Cheers, -Josh

  I've been knocking my head against this for some time now. I'm not really sure why it isn't working. I'm still pretty new to this whole WPF business. Here's my XAML for the combobox <ComboBox Width="200" SelectedValuePath="Type.FullName" SelectedItem="{Binding Path=Type}" Name="cmoBox" > </ComboBox> Here's what populates the ComboBox (myAssembly is a class I created with a list of possible types) cmoBox.ItemsSource = myAssembly.PossibleTypes; I set the DataContext in a parent element of the ComboBox in the code behind like this: groupBox.DataContext = listBox.SelectedItem; I want the binding to select the correct "possible type" from the combo box. It doesn't select anything. I have tried SelectedValue and SelectedItem. When I changed the DisplayMemberPath of the ComboBox to a different property it changed what was displayed so I know it's not completely broken. Any ideas???

  I need to build some sort of a custom CMS for a client of ours. These are some of the functional requirements: Must be able to manage the list of Pages in the site Each Page can contain a number of ColumnGroups A ColumnGroup is nothing more than a list of Columns in a certain ColumnGroupLayout. For example: "one column taking up the entire width of the page", "two columns each taking up half of the width", ... Each Column can contain a number ContentBlocks Examples of a ContentBlock are: TextBlock, NewsBlock, PictureBlock, ... ContentBlocks can be given a certain sorting within a Column A ContentBlock can be put in different Columns so that content can be reused without having to be duplicated. My first quick draft of how this could look like in C# code (we're using ASP.NET 4.0 to develop the CMS) can be found at the bottom of my question. One of the technical requirements is that it must be as easy as possible to add new types of ContentBlocks to the CMS. So I would like model everything as flexible as possible. Unfortunately, I'm already stuck at trying to figure out how the database should look like. One of the problems I'm having has to do with sorting different types of ContentBlocks in a Column. I guess each type of ContentBlock (like TextBlock, NewsBlock, PictureBlock, ...) should have it's own table in the database because each has it's own different fields. A TextBlock might only have a field called Text whereas a NewsBlock might have fields for the Text, the Summary, the PublicationDate, ... Since one Column can have ContentBlocks located in different tables, I guess I'll have to create a many-to-many association for each type of ContentBlock. For example: ColumnTextBlocks, ColumnNewsBlocks and ColumnPictureBlocks. The problem I have with this setup is the sorting of the different ContentBlocks in a column. This could be something like this: TextBlock NewsBlock TextBlock TextBlock PictureBlock Where do I store the sorting number? If I store them in the associaton tables, I'll have to update a lot of tables when changing the sorting order of ContentBlocks in a Column. Is this a good approach to the problem? Basically, my question is: What is the best way to model this keeping in mind that it should be easy to add new types of ContentBlocks? My next question is: What ORM can deal with that kind of modeling? To be honest, we are ORM-virgins at work. I have been reading a bit about Linq-to-SQL and NHibernate, but we have no experience with them. Because of the IList in the Column class (see code below) I think we can rule out Linq-to-SQL, right? Can NHibernate handle the mapping of data from many different tables to one IList? Also keep in mind that this is just a very small portion of the domain. Other parts are Users belonging to a certain UserGroup having certain Permissions on Pages, ColumnGroups, Columns and ContentBlocks. For some reason it doesn't work - the image does not show up. By debugging I can see that the stream contains the image data. So what's wrong? • Android programmatically add buttons to layout from string array

  Does anyone know how to programatically add buttons to the layout from an array? I have an array of titles and icons that i have used for a list view and now i'm wanting to reuse the same arrays to create a layout as displayed here so the layout adds a button for each item in the array and arranges them in 3's according to device width. is this possible to do?   I have code which generates a Cairo ImageSurface, and I expose it like so: def preview(...): surface = cairo.ImageSurface(cairo.FORMAT_ARGB32, width, height) ... cherrypy.response.headers['Content-Type'] = "image/png" return surface.get_data() preview.exposed = True This doesn't work (browsers report that the image has errors). I've tested that surface.write_to_png('test.png') works, but I'm not sure what to dump the data into to return it. I'm guessing some file-like object? According to the pycairo documentation, get_data() returns a buffer. I've also now tried: tempf = os.tmpfile() surface.write_to_png(tempf) return tempf Also, is it better to create and hold this image in memory (like I'm trying to do) or write it to disk as a temp file and serve it from there? I only need the image once, then it can be discarded.

  Is there a major performance difference between the following: <iframe style="visibility:hidden" /> <iframe style="width:0px; height:0px; border:0px" /> I'm using a hidden iframe to pull down and parse some information from an external server. If the iframe actually attempts to render the page, this may suck up a lot of CPU cycles. Of course, I'd ideally just want to get the raw markup - for example, if I could prevent the iframe from loading img tags, that would be perfect.
