    Hello, To illustrate my problem, TEST="Hi my name is John" OUTP=`echo $TEST | awk '{print $3}'` echo $OUTP What I would expect this to do is pass the $TEST variable into awk and store the 3rd word into $OUTP. Instead I get "Hi: not found", as if it is expecting the input to be a file. If I pass just a string instead of a variable, however, there is no problem. What would be the best way to approach this?     How can a dynamic programming solution for the unbounded knapsack decision problem be used to come up with a dynamic programming solution to the subset-sum decision problem? This limitation seems to render the unbounded knapsack problem useless. In the unbounded knapsack, we simply store true or false for if some subset of integers sum up to our target value. However, if we have a limit on the frequency of the use of these integers, the optimal substructure at least appears to fail. How can this be done?

    I was just wondering which would be cheaper, using a try catch block for index out of bounds or checking the length of a multi dimensional array and comparing values? I have a feeling it's the length, since I can store the length in a variable and then just do if's which are relatively cheap. I'm just not sure how expensive try-catch is. Thanks!

    Hi i am new to php, I currently learning php using eclipse. I know i have to install the zend debugger my php.ini store at c:windows i had added in these line: [Zend] zend_extension=c:/php/ext/ZendDebugger.dll zend_debugger.allow_hosts=127.0.0.1 zend_debugger.expose_remotely=always zend_debugger.connector_port=10013 but on command prompt i tried php -m it shown that i never install zend debugger. I not sure where goes wrong I check phpinfo also never show any zend information.
