  Hi, I have ASP.NET web service on windows server 2003. I have own certificate authority. I use own client certificate on authentification in web service. I make client certificate. I call web service, everything is ok. Then I revoke this certificate in certification authority. Certificate is in Revoked certificate. I call web service with this certificate, but web service verify this certificate as good, but this certificate is between revoked. I don't know why? Anybody help me please? I use this method on verify certificate. X509Certificate2.Verify Method I don't get any exception, certificate is between revoked, but web service verify this certificate as good.

• Wicket app in embedded Jetty causes UnsupportedClassVersionError

Switching the target class version for my app (1.6 - 1.5) did not help. I use Sun JDK 1.6.0_17, Wicket 1.4.8, Jetty 6.1.24. I tried to debug, but the JRE classes have no debug data. The stacktrace is of no use as it happens when loading the classes into JVM. Any ideas what could be wrong? How can I find which class is causing this? Thanks, Ondra

  I'm using the Zend Frameworker 1.12. According to the help file, I used the Zend_Db_Statement to execute my sql.   I have two interfaces IHeaderRow, and IDetailRow I then have an object that implements both RawRow:IHeaderRow, IDetailRow I then need to cast it to HeaderRow which implements IHeaderRow. But when I try, it ends up being null or giving an exception. I can cast ObjectRawRow to either interface IHeaderRow, or IDetailRow var ObjectIHeaderRow = ObjectRawRow as IHeaderRow; var ObjectIDetailRow = ObjectRawRow as IDetailRow; But I can not cast ObjectRawRow to HeaderRow , or ObjectIHeaderRow to HeaderRow. It throws the error Cannot convert source type 'IA' to target type 'A' I need to cast it into the actual class HeaderRow. Thoughts?

  Hi, I run into the following errors when i try to store a large file into a string. • ArrayBlockingQueue - How to "interrupt" a thread that is wating on .take() method

  I use an ArrayBlockingQueue in my code. Clients will wait untill an element becomes available: myBlockingQueue.take(); How can I "shutdown" my service in case no elements are present in the queue and the take() ist wating indefenitely for an element to become available? This method throws an InterruptedException. My question is, how can I "evoke" an Interrupted Exception so that take() will quit? (I also tought about notify(), but it seems I doesnt help here..) I know I could insert an special "EOF/QUIT" marker Element but is this really the only solution? UPDATE (regarding the comment, that points to another question with two solutions: one mentioned above using a "Poisoning Pill Object" and the second one is Thread.interrupt(): The myBlockingQueue.take() is used NOT in a Thread (extending Thread) but rather implements Runnable. It seems a Runnable does not provide the .interrupt() method? How could I interrupt the Runnable? Million Thanks Bernhard

• Why doesnt doesnt HTML input of type file not work with Ajax update panel

  I have a input of type file and when i try to do a Request.files when the input is wrapped in an update panel...it always returns an empty httpfilecollection. Why??? • Silverlight datagrid don't show any data with anonymous query RIA services

I have an anonymous linq query that I bind to a datagrid, when I debug it brings alright the data but it doesn't show in the datagrid, I suspect that the request to RIA services isn't completed before I bound it to the datagrid. I could use the LoadOperation<() Completed event. But it only works with Defined Entities so how can I do that? • java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError in eclipse

  Hi all, I am not a Java programmer really, so I am posting this question. The exception is being thrown java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError in my main class in an eclipse project. If I comment out the imports that this class has, it compiles and runs fine. If I put the imports back in, it does not work. Does this mean that the libraries I am importing were compiled with a newer or older version of java than I have? when i do java -version on the system i get 1.5_07 I could've sworn this was actually working last week, but maybe some setting in eclipse got tweaked? Is the Java Build Path in eclipse what I need to look for to check the JRE and compiler versions?

  I have 2 classes: Person and Contact. Person class has a property named ContactNumber which returns the Contact type, and this property is marked as a DataMember for serialization. I have marked Contact type as a DataContract. On the client side I am able to get the values, but when I try to insert a value and then do submit, I get the following exception: Failed to deserialize change-set. Essentially, I would like to truncate a string such that it its length is not longer than a given value. I am writing to a database table and want to ensure that the values I write meet the constraint of the column's datatype. For instance, it would be nice if I could write the following: string NormalizeLength(string value, int maxLength) { return value.Substring(0, maxLength); } Unfortunately, this raises an exception because maxLength exceeds the string boundaries.   Hi, the following code is to open a console application (which uses pdcurses for output, nothing special): myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "some.exe"; myProcess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false; myProcess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = false; myProcess.StartInfo.RedirectStandardInput = true; myProcess.Start(); The Problem is that it opens the designated window but directly closes it (it's barely visible). Starting the program without RedirectStandardInput works. The problem is that it does not throw an exception nor any error-message. What is wrong with my code? How can I write input to the program? I need programmatically way/sample code to perform a fastest 'trans-wrap' on iPhone/iPad application I tried to set AVAssetExportSession.outputFileType property to AVFileTypeMPEG4 but it not supported and I got exception I tried to do this transform using AVAssetWriter by specifying fileType:AVFileTypeMPEG4, actually I got .mp4 output file, but it was not 'wrap-trans', the output file was  3x bigger than source, and the convert process took 128 sec for video with 60 sec duration. I need solution that will run quickly and will keep the file size  please help

• How to handle concurrency control in dynamic data?

  I've been quite impressed with dynamic data and how easy and quick it is to get a simple site up and running. I'm planning on using it for a simple internal HR admin site for registering people's skills/degrees/etc. I've been watching the intro videos at www.asp.net/dynamicdata and one thing they never mention is how to handle concurrency control. It seems that DD does not handle it right out of the box (unless there is some setting I haven't seen) as I manually generated a change conflict exception and the app failed without any user friendly message. Anybody know if DD handles it out of the box? Or do you have to somehow build it into the site?

Also, if during execution the database goes down and comes up again, how can i ensure that my program recovers from this and continues running instead of throwing an exception and exiting?
