  Hi, I want to create a normal AlertDialog. I used the example provided by the android dev docs. I just changed the DIALOG_PAUSED_ID to DIALOG_DELETEDB. • MySQL: Creating table with FK error (errno 150)

  I've tried searching on this error and nothing I've found helps me, so I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate and I'm just too dumb to find it. I've created a model with MySQL Workbench and am now attempting to install it to a mysql server. Using File Export Forward Engineer SQL CREATE Script... it outputs a nice big file for me, with all the settings I ask for. I switch over to MySQL GUI Tools (the Query Browser specifically) and load up this script (note that I'm going form one official MySQL tool to another). However, when I try to actually execute this file, I get the same error over and over SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1005 Can't create table './srs_dev/location.frm' (errno: 150) "OK", I say to myself, something is wrong with the location table. So I check out the definition in the output file. So I start to Google this issue and find all kinds of accounts that talk about an error with InnoDB style tables that fail with foreign keys, and the fix is to add "SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;" to the SQL script. Well, as you can see, that's already part of the file that MySQL Workbench spat out. So, my question is then, why is this not working when I'm doing what I think I'm supposed to be doing?   I am currently trying to return an array which contains information about a seat at a theate such as Seat number, Name, Price and Status. I am using a combobox where I want to list all vacant or reserved seats based upon choice. When I choose reserved seats in my combobox, I call upon a method using AddRange. This method is supposed to loop through an array containing all seats and their information. If a seat is Vacant, I add it to an array. When all is done, I return this array. However, I am dealing with a ArgumentNullException.   Greetings, This question does seem to be an ongoing saga in the world of iphone SDK... so heres my contribution... Had two separate projects from the same template... one semi-works, the other not at all... Please let me explain my steps... used this basic GL ES template //iphonedevelopment.blogspot.com/2008/12/opengl-project-template-for-xcode.html had to sort out some of the 'Release' configuration but otherwises has eveything I need to add orientation to a GL ES project. One my first project, did my stuff, then added these methods.... -(BOOL)shouldAutoRotateToInterfaceOrientation ..... -(void)willRotateToInterfaceOrientation .... -(void)didRotateFromInterfaceOrientation .... -(void)willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation .... And understand what they do (or are trying to do in my case), the (BOOL)should... gets called once when the view controller is created, and returns 'YES'. But after that none of the other methods are called! So I started from scratch with a blank template (GL ES one from above)...and added minimum to support auto rotation. But this time none of the methods get called! So I investigated .... //developer.apple.com/iphone/library/qa/qa2010/qa1688.html as it said, I added the GLViewController.view first, then added the GLview as subviews of the application delegate. Nothing! Then found this //www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/44993-how-determine-ipad-launch-orientation.html which states to enable orientation notifications [[UIDevice currentDevice] beginGeneratingDeviceOrientationNotifications]; and then subsequently disable them in the view controller... makes sense...did it, nothing... I think the notifications might be on by default though, since I didn't need to enable them in the first project, yet it still try to verify a orientation (i.e (BOOL)shouldAutoRotate... )... If any one could help me out it would be greatly appreciated as this issue is driving me insane. Thanks in advance. Redownloaded my developer certificate, made a new provisioning profile, still getting this error. Searched the Xcode project and removed all lines referencing a Provisioning Profile, but that didn't seem to remove it from the project settings (went to show package contents, then opened the project file). Was originally on a different machine then transferred over, if that makes a difference? Thanks

I am using a single repository pattern and FindAll accepted a where clause ANy ideas? There are lots of similar questions on here but not that give the answer, I'm very new to Linq as you may of guessed :) Edit: I get the results I require now but it will be checking the conditional on null values in some cases.   Hi, My web application is developed with Struts2 and it was working fine till recently. All of a sudden one of the modules has started malfunctioning. The malfunctioning module is 'Update Student details' page. This page has a lot of fields like 'schoolName', 'degreeName', etc . School 1: <input name="schoolName"> School 2: <input name="schoolName"> ..... School n: <input name="schoolName"> As mentioned earlier, the page was working perfectly fine till recently. Now, one/many of the values of 'schoolName', 'degreeName', etc are being received as "" (EMPTY STRING) on the server-side. For debugging, I used firebug and remote-debugging in eclipse. I find that the post-parameters are correct on the client-side. For instance, during one of the submissions the post-parameters were as below (i noted them from firebug). • Ninject.Web.PageBase still resulting in null reference to injected dependency

  I have an ASP.NET 3.5 WebForms application using Ninject 2.0. However, attempting to use the Ninject.Web extension to provide injection into System.Web.UI.Page, I'm getting a null reference to my injected dependency even though if I switch to using a service locator to provide the reference (using Ninject), there's no issue. My configuration (dumbed down for simplicity): public partial class Default : PageBase // which is Ninject.Web.PageBase { [Inject] public IClubRepository Repository { get; set; } protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { var something = Repository.GetById(1); // results in null reference exception. } } ... //global.asax.cs public class Global : Ninject.Web.NinjectHttpApplication { /// <summary> /// Creates a Ninject kernel that will be used to inject objects. /// </summary> /// <returns> /// The created kernel. /// </returns> protected override IKernel CreateKernel() { IKernel kernel = new StandardKernel(new MyModule()); return kernel; } .. ... public class MyModule : NinjectModule { public override void Load() { Bind<IClubRepository>().To<ClubRepository>(); //... } } Getting the IClubRepository concrete instance via a service locator works fine (uses same "MyModule"). I.e. private readonly IClubRepository _repository = Core.Infrastructure.IoC.TypeResolver.Get<IClubRepository>(); What am I missing? [Update] Finally got back to this, and it works in Classic Pipeline mode, but not Integrated. Is the classic pipeline a requirement? [Update 2] Wiring up my OnePerRequestModule was the problem (which had removed in above example for clarity): protected override IKernel CreateKernel() { var module = new OnePerRequestModule(); module.Init(this); IKernel kernel = new StandardKernel(new MyModule()); return kernel; } ...needs to be: protected override IKernel CreateKernel() { IKernel kernel = new StandardKernel(new MyModule()); var module = new OnePerRequestModule(); module.Init(this); return kernel; } Thus explaining why I was getting a null reference exception under integrated pipeline (to a Ninject injected dependency, or just a page load for a page inheriting from Ninject.Web.PageBase - whatever came first).

  Hi, I am trying to post some data with jQuery Ajax, but the parameters in my Ajax method are null. This is simple test to send data: var dataPost = { titel: 'titel', message: 'msg', tagIds: 'hello' }; jQuery.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "Create", contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8', data: $.toJSON(dataPost), dataType: "json", success: function(result) { alert("Data Returned: "); } }); And my Ajax method looks like this: [HttpPost] public ActionResult Create(string title, string message, string tagIds) {... } There is something basic wrong with the data I send, but I can't figure out what. All the time the title, message and tagIds are null, so there is something wrong with the encoding, I just don't know what. Note: The jQuery.toJSON is this plugin

• ComboBox wpf not item not being selected

  I am trying to bind a combo box to a list of objects, and it works great, besides the selected value, am I missing somethign? <ComboBox ItemsSource="{Binding OrderInfoVm.AllCountries}" SelectedValuePath="country_code" DisplayMemberPath="country_name" SelectedValue="{Binding OrderInfoVm.BillingCountry}" /> Basically I want to bind value to country codes and set the selected value to the country code bound to OrderInfoVm.BillingCountry (which implements INotifyPropertyChanged) Initially when the control loads selected value is empty, but on click BillingCountry is populated. Selected value does not seem to change. How can I remedy that?

• Why shouldn't I always use nullable types in C#.

  I've been searching for some good guidance on this since the concept was introduced in .net 2.0. Why would I ever want to use non-nullable data types in c#? (A better question is why wouldn't I choose nullable types by default, and only use non-nullable types when that explicitly makes sense.) Is there a 'significant' performance hit to choosing a nullable data type over its non-nullable peer? I much prefer to check my values against null instead of Guid.empty, string.empty, DateTime.MinValue,<= 0, etc, and to work with nullable types in general. And the only reason I don't choose nullable types more often is the itchy feeling in the back of my head that makes me feel like it's more than backwards compatibility that forces that extra '?' character to explicitly allow a null value. Is there anybody out there that always (most always) chooses nullable types rather than non-nullable types? Thanks for your time,

  There is a strange behaviour with json_encode and json_decode and I can't find a solution: My php application calls a php web service. The webservice returns json that looks like this: var_dump($foo): string(62) "?{"action":"set","user":"123123123123","status":"OK"}" now I like to decode the json in my application: $data = json_decode($foo, true) but it returns NULL: var_dump($data): NULL I use php 5. The Content-Type of the response from the webservice: "text/html; charset=utf-8" (also tried to use "application/json; charset=utf-8") What could be the reason?

  Trying to integrate Twitter with ASP.NET application (Code in C#). This is the code I have written for the first sign in to Twitter. When I debug the application, I do get the token response and the response redirect happens appropriately. However, if I host it on IIS and access it, I get a Null Pointer Exception.
