• possible to recreate xml out of ActionScript?

  Hi, I got stuck with an SWF which has ActionScript in it and should use some xml. The problem is, I cannot edit the SWF by decompiling it and compile it again, it simply doesn't work... Adobe Flash CS4 rebuilds the thing, but after I press CTRL+ENTER I get a lot of runtime errors (probably something to do with AS <- AS2 <- AS3 and don't know how to fix that). So the question is: can I reconstruct how the xml should look like? I am able to view all the actionscript code with Flash Decompiler Gold and ain't gettin much smarter. Maybe I could post the code if someone desire it. thanks

  I have an image of a floor plan. Best way to think if it is a hotel floor plan. (Similar to how stubhub does their ticket maps) I want the user to select rooms. Instead of slicing each room in Photoshop, is there a way to split up the image in HTML5 canvas or Javascript. Would like to avoid flash. • How do I sync Dreamweaver site definitions across 2 computers?

  I use Dreamweaver on my laptop and Desktop PC and frequently change between them. I keep all my sites synced using Syncplicity (similar to Dropbox, which indecently I also use) I want my site definitions to be synced across the two computers. If I add a new site on one computer I want it to appear on the other one. I know I can export all sites on one computer and then get Syncplicity to sync the files to the other computer at which point I can import them. However this relies on me remembering to do this each time I add a new site, and it's also quite time consuming. As far as I can tell, Dreamweaver (at least upto CS4- not sure about CS5) stupidly stores the site definitions in the registry. I really don't know why they do this- if they stored it in xml files then I could easily sync the information. Does anyone know if what I am asking is possible?

• iTunes Connect says my Icon.png file is 0x0.. it's clearly not!

  In my project directory, top level, I have Icon.png. Double-checked in Photoshop, it's 57x57. When I submit my application via iTunes Connect or Application Loader, I get an error message saying my icon file is 0x0. Any idea why this happens?

  Hi, I need to give one client the ability to convert some videos to f4v h264 before loading it up to an AIR app. I normally doing with the Adobe Media Encoder CS4 but that only ships with adobe products (you can't download it as a free standalone app - which, start rant is odd, you'd think they would push the format - Microsoft's competing expresssion encoder is free end rant) Anyway, I need to get a (hopefully not too expensive, but willing to pay for it) good 3rd part app that can take any video and convert it to an f4v. Can you suggest any? Everything i've found is horrible or jammed with ads and crap. What would you use? Any suggestion? (please don't just say ffmpeg - I know it can do it but we need to good simple GUI) Thanks!

  I'm writing a card game in AS3. The artist I'm working with has produced (in Flash CS4) a single swf-file containing all the card graphics and animations. The structure of the fla working file looks something like this: - Scene - CardGraphics (Movie Clip) - CardFront - CardBack - CardValueImage (Movie Clip) ... In the program I create 52 instances of my Card class, each having a MovieClip instance created from the loaded swf. The idea is to set the frame of the CardValueImage MovieClip to correspond to the Card instance's suit and rank member variables. However, I can't figure out how I access CardValueImage and call gotoAndStop (or whatever method I will need to call). • SSIS: Way to handle hot folder items in parallel?

  We have eight Xeon (i7) cores and 16 gig of RAM on our SSIS box. We have about 200 image files we want to convert using a command line utility every day. Currently the process is using Adobe Photoshop and droplets (very manual, taking upwards of two hours a day) Using SSIS hot folders, is there a way to execute up to eight conversions at once? Is there any way to tell a process completed or execute code upon it's completion?
