• Scroll Viewer not visible in wpf DataGrid

  I have a datagrid in a grid but the scrollviewer is not visibile even though I made it auto. Below in my code. • Make DataVisualization Chart object zoom and scrollable by dragging the scroll bar

  I'm using a System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Chart control, and have the ChartArea's AxisX and Y both set Zoomable to true. When chart is zoomed in, I see the scrollbar, but cannot drag it. Is it possible to drag the scrollbar, and have the chart display move as I am dragging the scrollbar button? I want to make it intuitive and interactive for the user. Thanks!

  I'd like to know the x/y offset of the how far the user has "scrolled" within the viewport in mobile safari on the iphone. Put another way, if I (through javascript) reloaded the current page, I'd like to find the values I'd need to pass into window.scrollTo(...) in order to reposition the document/viewport as it is currently. window.pageXOffset always reports 0 jquery's $('body').scrollTop() always reports 0 events have a pageX, but this won't account for the scrolling of the page that happens after you release your finger if your gesture was to "flick" the page up/down. Namely, it'll give me a point when the finger leaves the screen, but that doesn't always match where the page will be after it's finished scrolling. Any pointers?

• Android: how to place a button at an x,y position over top of Canvas

  Is it possible to place buttons at an X,Y position over the top of a Canvas? For example, on the opening screen of my game, I would like to place buttons for "Play Now", "Instructions", etc, right on top of the canvas. Right now, I'm looking at Touch locations on the Canvas and comparing them to various X,Y bounds. It works, but adding a button with a click listener would probably be much more efficient.

• Setting the position within a spinner

  Good Afternoon, I have a spinner array containing 3 spinners. Each spinner is populated via a res string array. Each array contains the numbers 1-100. When the activity starts each spinner contains a string array of 1-100 and when you click on a spinner the first choice is 1. Say a user picks 25 on the first spinner. I'd like the 2nd spinner to show 25 as the starting point for scrolling when the spinner is clicked but not fire the spinner. The 2nd spinner would still contain the array 1-100 though so a user could scroll down to a lessor number if the wanted to. I've tried using setSelection but that causes the 2nd spinner to fire causing undesirable effects (an edit box is populated with the 2nd number even though the user hasn't clicked the 2nd spinner). I would like the 2nd spinner to just show 25 as the starting point. How do I do this?

• Determine the width of the vertical scroll bar in a ScrollViewer

  I'm using a ScrollViewer to display an Image. The Image has a ScaleTransform set as one of it's LayoutTransforms. I've got it setup to fit the width of the image into the ActualSize of the ScrollViewer. My problem is that if the image height requires the vertical scrollbar to be present (I have it set to Auto) then my image is scaled just a little bit to much. I know how to determine if the scrollbar would be present and how to get the correct scale, but I cannot figure out how to determine what the actual width of the scrollbar is. I guess I could just guess at it, but I'd like something that would work if I later add styles to my application that would result in the scrollbars being a different size. Additionally I'm also doing Fit to Height and would need to get the Height of the horizontal scrollbar when it would be visible (I'm assuming that the answer to getting the width of the vertical scrollbar would make getting the height of the horizontal scrollbar obvious).

• jqGrid cell editing need to position the error message dialog

  I'm using jqGrid with cell editing. I have setup the colModel properties using the editrules option. Everything works fine in that if I edit a cell and try to save an invalid value the grid displays an error dialog, but I need to know how to position the error message dialog that comes up because in the case of my layout it ends up behind a video. I'm not quite sure how to hook into this and there don't seem to be any obvious options on how to do it.

  Hi! I need to implement HorizontalScrollView which is scrolled to predefined positions (similar to Home behaviour). It works with slow gestures, but does not work with flings. I hooked to View.onScrollChanged() and it is called when scrolling happened, but I can't determine when scrolling ends. In theory there should be a way to say that fling is over. Is there such API?

  I am trying to create a MainScreen with vertical scrolling. From what I've read in the documentation, MainScreen has a VerticalManager inside, so it should be possible to enable vertical scrolling only with proper construction, i.e: super(MainScreen.VERTICAL_SCROLL | MainScreen.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR); This is not working for me, however. I am creating a screen, adding a couple of LabelFields and no scrollbar, no scrolling at all. I am testing on 8900, OS 5.0. Here is the code I use: public class ExampleScreen extends MainScreen { public ExampleScreen() { super(MainScreen.VERTICAL_SCROLL | MainScreen.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR); create(); } private void add(String text) { add(new LabelField(text)); } private void create() { add("line 0"); add("line 1"); ... etc ... } } The question is am I doing something wrong? • Can I disable UIPickerView scroll sound?

  Hi, I want to disable the annoying clicks that the UIPickerView generates upon scrolling up and down. Is there a way to do this? I want to play short sounds for each item that the picker view lands upon. It gets ruined by the built in sound. I understand that the picker sounds can be turned off globally by switching off the keyboard sounds in iPhone/iPod settings. But is there a way to programatically do this?   Variations of this question have been answered, but none of which dealing with my issue. I don't know if this can be achieved or not but I thought if anyone knew they would know on here. I have a table with a thead and one row with many columns. I want the thead to remain fixed (the row is extremely long) however when the thead is fixed, it gets cut off at the end of the browser. Is there a way I can keep it fixed but when you scroll horozontally for the entire page you can see the rest of the thead?
