  • Are there any good graphical git and hg/Mercurial clients on Mac OS X?

    I'm searching for compelling git and Mercurial clients on Mac OS X. The most clients I've found so far were less compelling as I expected. Some of the clients are programmed even in ruby or tcl/tk, which IMO aren't good OSX citizens in regard of integration in the OS. I've clients in mind similar to Versions.app or Cornetstone which are subversion-only clients. Perhaps somebody got an insider tip for me.

    I see people writing a function with FUNCTION instead "CREATE FUNCTION". When I saw this usage in the web I thought it was a typo or something. But in Oreilly's "Oracle 11g PL/SQL Programming" by Steven Feurenstein, the author had used the same thing. But I get errors when I execute that. Could somebody explain is it legal usage or not?.     Hi, I have a problem and can not find answer and any tip if it is possible to intercept value types in C# by Castle dynamic proxy? I want to intercept IDictionary with INotifyChanged interface. I need this to update view when presenter is changing model. Boxing decimal in object only for making interface is not good idea... maybe somebody have idea how to intrcept value types?     I have forms that I want to display in different languages : I used the label parameter to set a parameter, and used ugettext() on the labels : agreed_tos = forms.BooleanField(label=ugettext('I agree to the terms of service and to the privacy policy.')) But when I am rendering the form in my template, using {{form.as_p}} The labels are not translated. Does somebody have a solution for this problem ?

    Hi, Could somebody point out the necessary rights to do something like ALTER TABLE myTable ADD myColumn int NOT NULL CONSTRAINT [Constraint_name] DEFAULT ((0)) ? I assumed grant alter on myTable to [user] was enough but I'm getting the error message The UPDATE permission was denied on the object 'myTable', database 'x', schema 'dbo'. Could UPDATE rights be needed because of the DEFAULT constraint? Thanks.

I have a doctrine update query to save my data: $customer = Doctrine_Query::create() -update('Customer') -set('fax',"'". $this-getRequest()-getParam('fax')."'") -where('id ='.$this-getRequest()-getParam('id')) -execute(); The problem is that the field fax has parenthesis and doctrine returns an error in the query because of these parenthesis "(" and ")". Somebody knows a solution for this? Thank's

  • How can I stop cruise control re-building after a failed build?

    I got back from the weekend to discover that somebody *ahem* had missed a file commit last thing Friday afternoon... Cruise control has been having fun, and tried to re-build every five minutes since then despite no further commits. This means that my colleagues and I have received approximately six hojillion emails from cruise control. A single fail email would be more than enough to notify us. Is there any way to stop cruise control building on failure, at least until a new commit occurs?

    Hi, I am using jasperreport and trying to pass an alternate report runner. • net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.JRThreadSubreportRunner: The initial thread-based implementation • net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.JRContinuationSubreportRunner: A Javaflow-based implementation I am using the second one (for the reason, it runs on tomcat server, and creating threads wouldn't be good while writing subreports). The second one depends on commons-javaflow which is a sandbox version. Not sure if I should use it, Could somebody suggest a better way. Thanks
