  I need to config one SMTP server (sendmail) to send mail with 2 interfaces with different ip's depending server. For example: In same machine with to ip: 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 i need to send email [email protected] by 1.1.1.1 and [email protected] by 2.2.2.2 I don't now if i can configure it on sendmail, or use iptables, some idea ? Because of that, I have moved everything else out of my profile folder (maven repository, IntelliJ configuration & cache).   We are building a Rails application for a client that wants to run the app locally to be close to their data center for best performance. I had assumed we would use a standard web host. What requirements should we demand of the client's infrastructure..all I can think of so far is remote access for developers and a Linux machine? We don't have server admin expertise so would need to contract this, I doubt the client has the expertise. Does this sound like a recipe for disastor?!

  I have read this tutorial to and added this command in the file vmrun start /media/VM/WindowXP/Windows XP Professional.vmx I have also added one more line echo "hello" >> /home/abc/test.txt to check if script is runinng or not. When i restart the ubuntu , then virtual machine does not start. But there are two "hello" in that text file I don't know why two hellos but vm is not starting

Now I want to use localtest.me to select the machine directly without port number. I want when I type foo.localtest.me in TS client to connect automaticaly on the 127.0.0.1:3389 is it possible or do I need a proxy to translate port regarding domain name.

  Using a 32bit laptop, I saved my settings etc. using "Windows Easy Transfer" from the Win7 RC. I set the file destination to a Win2K R2 machine that happened to be 64bit. When I re-installed my laptop and tried to restore my settings from the file I'd saved I was surprised to get an error: "Windows Easy Transfer can't transfer files from a 64-bit computer to a 32-bit computer." Is there a known workaround? Ideas on how to unpack the file and get my stuff?

• windows 7 numlock issues with rdp causes machine to go crazy

  After going through a few rdp sessions to xp machines, when I come back to my local machine it appears some setting has been tripped so every key I type is registered as one of the function/alt keys plus the key I type, causing windows to open and close windows randomly and other erratic behavior. Pressing windows key and numlock returns everything to normal. Any ideas what causes this. I have experienced this on multiple win 7 machines, but never in vista or xp.

  I have a urgent problem to solve today, but I'm lost. Please help. I've cloned a Virtual Machine hosted on VM Ware ESXi 4.1 The OS is now Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS, but at the time of cloning it was 10.04 LTS. I fixed the MAC address manually inside /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules. It is a known problem on Ubuntu. I had to remove the old MAC address and set the new one as eth0. Everything seems to work fine, except ARP. My provider OVH sent me a warning to resolve it today (this is the second day) or they will block my IP! The log contains many lines like this: Tue Jun 5 01:04:29 2012 : arp who-has 178.32.136.212 tell 178.32.136.224 where .224 is the cloned server that is causing problems, and .212 is the cloned one. arp -na returns: ? (178.33.230.254) at 00:07:b4:00:00:02 [ether] on eth0 ? (178.32.136.212) at 00:50:56:09:8e:f1 [ether] on eth0 The first IP is the ESXi machine. The second one should not be there. I'm not an expert and I don't know what else to do to fix this problem. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks. I allocated a virtual disk of 500GB (stored at /var/lib/libvirt/images/vm1.img), and I'm finding that overkill, so now I'd like to free up some of that space for use with other virtual machines. There seems to be a lot answers on how to increase image storage, but not decrease it. I found the virt-resize tool, but it only seems to work with raw disk partitions, not disk images.
