    Hi Guys I am trying to create a web app to share docs with all editor features (just like google docs). My main requirements for this app are as follows: 1. Should have all editor features (can be done using open office api, google docs api, Microsoft office web apps api) 2. Should be shared between multiple users and can be edited by multiple users and other sync features (can be done using google docs api, Microsoft office web apps) 3. Can save the document created and edited on my own/ custom server addr. (Which api can support this??? I know open office can support this) Guys can you please suggest me one api which can be used to do all the above. Also please suggest if I am underestimating any API above regarding any functionality that i thing is not supported. Thanks King

  • CRM mail merge and Word Macros/FILLINs

    Hi all, I'm currently using Microsoft CRM4 Mail merge function, which stores Word files as XML files inside CRM. My client has a requirement to prompt the user for more information (not found in CRM) upon mail merging. Previously, we used the Word 'FILLIN' commands, but it does not work with CRM mail merge as it only prompts the user before printing, not upon opening a Word file. I attempted using Macros, but can't seem to save macros to Microsoft Word 2003 XML file format. My questions: 1. Is there any way to get 'FILLIN' to prompt the user upon opening the mail merged file? 2. Can I store macros in Word 2003 XML file format? 3. Any other way around it, that involves merging CRM records with a Word file, and prompting the user for more information not already found in CRM? Many thanks for your help, AR

Jó hír E-Business Suite 11i -t használó Ügyfeleink számára, hogy elkészült az adótörvények változásához kapcsolódóan (Art. 31/B §) az Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (11.5.10) verziójához az új lokalizációs ÁFA csomag, amely a 2013-tól az "Összesíto jelentés"-hez szükséges adatok eloállítását támogatja. I have deployed the application in the server.I am using windows service 2003 as the server.I am able to read the excel file only if i set the set the security settings to "network service" for the microsoft excel application in the control panel -- administrative tools -- componetn service -- computer -- My computer -- DCOM config -- microsoft excel application . Why is it so . There are also other applications running in the server. 1) Doing like this will create any issue ? 2) Why do we need to do it ? 3) Is there any alternative way to do it ? 4) What are we doing actually by providing network service access ?     On success, ShellExecute returns a handle. Do we need to close this handle, and if so, how ? According to examples published my Microsoft, we need not close this handle. But the doc of ShellExecute itself is mute on the subject. Can you confirm we indeed do not need to close this handle ? But then, how can a handle be valid and in no need of being closed ??? Which of the following statements is/are true: the handle is invalid and we can't do anything with it; the handle is never freed and there is a (Microsoft-sponsored) memory leak (until the caller program ends); the handle is automatically freed by the system at some time and never reused afterwards (- another kind of resource leak). Only on trying to use it can we know whether it still points to something. what else ?

The thing is that I dont have any intuition to, why it is used, therefore please correct me: As fare as I understand, it is used in shaders - and can help you to figure out the opposite direction of the normals? Invers in ordinary numbers is like; The product of a number and its multiplicative inverse is 1. Observe that 3/5 * 5/3 = 1. In a matrix this will give you the Identity Matrix, which is the base coordinate system or the orion of the World space - right. But the invers is - some other coordinate system? You can use the transpose(Row-major order to Column-major order) of a square matrix to find the inverted matrix, as calculating the invers is process heavy - and the transpose is giving you the inverted matrix as a bi product? Again, I am looking for getting some intuition of this - and therefore be able to use it as intended. Thank you for any reply that will guide me in the right direction. Regards

    After installing .Net 4 and getting some questions that were already answered here I also realized how the Framework dlls are repeated in several places for the different Framework versions (this is not new, it happens with previous versions, but hadn't paid attention to it until now) 1 - GAC: %systemroot%\assembly 2- Framework installation directory: %systemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v... 3- and if you have the Windows SDK installed, also in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\ I think the last ones are the so called "Reference Assemblies" and have extra metadata to aid Visual Studio, but what about location number 2? Why are assemblies repeated there?

  • VWD Express won't let me add one table!

    Sorry if this question is too trivial but I really haven't found any related questions and I am shaking too much to think logically. I spent like few hours waiting for SQL Server to finally install (you know, it's Microsoft) and now when I want to add new table to database it says "this feature is not supported by Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express". How could this happen? I mean, what's the point of even letting me use this if I can't even add one table to database, and I won't even know about it until I actually need to do it? Are they really serious or is it just some mistake? Is there any way to get around this problem? I need to create just one simple project with one small table in database but it won't let me, but I can't believe they could actually have nerves to make express edition without such a trivial function, so maybe I just made something wrong and there's actually some way to add this table? Sorry for being so whiny but I'm just fed up with this environment.

  • how to insert the correct activex object in a MFC dialog

    More exactly, the web browser control. In a WM6 dialog based MFC project. This is driving me nuts. Mr Google does not know a thing on this matter. I have tried embedding the "Microsoft Webbrowser Control" in my dialog box but at runtime I get some class not register error. I have heard that this happens because "Microsoft Webbrowser Control" is the windows desktop control, not the windows mobile one. Otherwise, I find it quite hard to believe that this control is really not registered even on the emulator (if it really wasn't registered, PIE would not start). Anybody used the webbrowser engine in a WM(6) MFC applications ? Even a CLSID would help... Thank you

    I'm using binary serialization (BinaryFormatter) as a temporary mechanism to store state information in a file for a relatively complex (game) object structure; the files are coming out much larger than I expect, and my data structure includes recursive references - so I'm wondering whether the BinaryFormatter is actually storing multiple copies of the same objects, or whether my basic "number of objects and values I should have" arithmentic is way off-base, or where else the excessive size is coming from. Searching on stack overflow I was able to find the specification for Microsoft's binary remoting format: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc236844(PROT.10).aspx What I can't find is any existing viewer that enables you to "peek" into the contents of a binaryformatter output file - get object counts and total bytes for different object types in the file, etc; I feel like this must be my "google-fu" failing me (what little I have) - can anyone help? This must have been done before, right??

But the problem is : That my setup ALWAYS installs it even if my computer already has Office2007PIA. How can I configure my setup project that it will first check if Office2007PIA is installed and continue the installation of my project without installing Office2007PIA? Thanks!

    I have a c#/winforms application that uses directx to play some video and audio. whenever i start my application in debugmode i get this annoying message. i can click "continue" and everything seems to work fine. but i still want to get rid of this message. it does not show up in releasemode.     Yesterday I spent the longest day at this TechEd: we talked with many people at Community Night until 9pm and I have to say that just a few months after Analysis Services 2012 has been released, there are many people already using it. And the adoption of PowerPivot is starting to be quite large. Many new ideas and challenging coming from several different real world scenarios. I was tired but really happy. Alberto presented his Many-to-Many Relationships in BISM Tabular session that was in the same time slot of the BI Power Hour. For this reason, very few people attended Alberto’s session so I think many will watch the recorded session (it should be available within a few days). So what about today? I’ll spend some time at Technical Learning Center area (full schedule here) but the most important event today will be the Querying multi-billion rows with many to many relationships in SSAS Tabular (xVelocity) at the Private Cloud, Public Cloud and Data Platform Theater in the Technical Learning Center area (next to the SQL Server 2012 zone).  Why you should attend? Mainly because you will see live demo over 4 billion rows table with many-to-many relationships involved in complex queries. I also have a button, which will change the data cell in 'Status' where 'No.' = textbox.Text(), when I click it. Let's say I want the 'Status' cell to be changed to "Low".   • Getting SQL Server Compact 4.0 Tools CTP2

    Hello. I'm currently trying to install the "new" Microsoft WebMatrix Beta 2 (a web programming IDE). I was trying to use Web Platform Installer for this. But it 404's on the SQL Compact 4.0 CPT2 and it's tools. I was able to get the runtime from the Microsoft downloads page but the tools I am not able to find. I can not install WebMatrix because the tools are a prerequisite. Does anybody know where to get them from now?

What would be appropriate values for the default assembly attributes (listed below)?   • Cannot edit ColumnDefinitions property in Visual Studio WPF application, ellipsis are invisible!

    I have a window that looks like this: <Window x:Class="MyWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="My Title" Height="300" Width="300" ResizeMode="NoResize" SizeToContent="Height" WindowStartupLocation="CenterOwner"> <DockPanel> <Grid x:Name="MyGrid" DockPanel.Dock="Top" Margin="10"> </Grid> </DockPanel> </Window> Pretty simple. The instructions I am following suggest that if I click the item, the properties window will appear (it does), and then I can click ColumnDefinitions (which is a Collection) to bring up the Collection Editor and add some columns. However, the ColumnDefinitions property looks like this: The ColumnDefinitions ellipsis you'd normally press is gone, or invisible, or something. Any idea why?

  • Why does this textbox binding example work in WPF but not in Silverlight?

    Why is it in the following silverlight application that when I: change the default text in the first textbox move the cursor to the second text box (i.e. take focus off first textbox) click the button that inside the button handler, it still has the old value "default text"? What do I have to do to get the binding to work in Silverlight? The same code works fine in WPF.   • TFS 2010 Sharepoint Web Part error

    I downloaded: Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2010 and Team Foundation Server® 2010 Beta 2 for Microsoft® Virtual PC 2007 SP1 Image When I go into the default installation of TFS project site in Sharepoint ( http://vs2010beta2/sites/DefaultCollection/IBuySpy/Dashboards/ProjectDashboard_wss.aspx ) I get this error on the webparts. There are no accessible team projects in this Team Project Collection. Contact your Team Foundation Server administrator. In the Team Server Admin Console - Team Project Collection - Team Projects tab the projects are there. This is the default installation. Any suggestions???
