  • Read http body and put it into variables.

    - by Khou
    how do you create a class to read the html body and phase it into a variable? Example the page http://domain.com/page1.aspx display the following plaintext within the html body content item1=xyz&item2=abc&item3=jkl how do you read content of the html body and assign them to a variables in this case variable1=xyz (value taken from item1=) variable2=abc (value taken from item2=) variable3=jkl (value taken from item3=)?

  • .NET Regex Instance Caching

    - by jvenema
    I've read this article, which describes how instance vs static methods get called with a .NET regex. However, what about if the instance itself is static? Does anyone know if .NET does any sort of caching that could potentially cause a memory leak?

  • GORM column names for simple one to many mapping

    - by Toby Hobson
    I have this setup class User { Date lastLogin // logins is a history of logins static hasMany = [logins : Date] def setLastLogin(Date date) { if (date) { lastLogin = date addToLogins(date) } } } GORM is generating a table MEMBER_LOGINS which currently looks like this: USER_ID, LOGINS Instead I would like USER_ID, DATE I tried adding a mapping in User static mapping = { logins column: 'date'; } But that just changed the foreign key so i now have DATE, LOGINS How can I change the LOGINS column? Thanks!

  • Microsoft Word Document Controls not accepting carriage returns

    - by Scott
    So, I have a Microsoft Word 2007 Document with several Plain Text Format (I have tried Rich Text Format as well) controls which accept input via XML. For carriage returns, I had the string being passed through XML containing "\r\n" when I wanted a carriage return, but the word document ignored that and just kept wrapping things on the same line. I also tried replacing the \r\n with System.Environment.NewLine in my C# mapper, but that just put in \r\n anyway, which still didn't work. Note also that on the control itself I have set it to "Allow Carriage Returns (Multiple Paragrpahs)" in the control properties. This is the XML for the listMapper <Field id="32" name="32" fieldType="SimpleText"> <DataSelector path="/Data/DB/DebtProduct"> <InputField fieldType="" path="/Data/DB/Client/strClientFirm" link="" type=""/> <InputField fieldType="" path="strClientRefDebt" link="" type=""/> </DataSelector> <DataMapper formatString="{0} Account Number: {1}" name="SimpleListMapper" type=""> <MapperData> </MapperData> </DataMapper> </Field> Note that this is the listMapper C# where I actually map the list (notice where I try and append the system.environment.newline) namespace DocEngine.Core.DataMappers { public class CSimpleListMapper:CBaseDataMapper { public override void Fill(DocEngine.Core.Interfaces.Document.IControl control, CDataSelector dataSelector) { if (control != null && dataSelector != null) { ISimpleTextControl textControl = (ISimpleTextControl)control; IContent content = textControl.CreateContent(); CInputFieldCollection fileds = dataSelector.Read(Context); StringBuilder builder = new StringBuilder(); if (fileds != null) { foreach (List<string> lst in fileds) { if (CanMap(lst) == false) continue; if (builder.Length > 0 && lst[0].Length > 0) builder.Append(Environment.NewLine); if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(FormatString)) builder.Append(lst[0]); else builder.Append(string.Format(FormatString, lst.ToArray())); } content.Value = builder.ToString(); textControl.Content = content; applyRules(control, null); } } } } } Does anybody have any clue at all how I can get MS Word 2007 (docx) to quit ignoring my newline characters??

  • What am I missing in this ASP.NET XSS Security Helper class?

    - by smartcaveman
    I need a generic method for preventing XSS attacks in ASP.NET. The approach I came up with is a ValidateRequest method that evaluates the HttpRequest for any potential issues, and if issues are found, redirect the user to the same page, but in a away that is not threatening to the application. (Source code below) While I know this method will prevent most XSS attacks, I am not certain that I am adequately preventing all possible attacks while also minimizing false positives. So, what is the most effective way to adequately prevent all possible attacks, while minimizing false positives? Are there changes I should make to the helper class below, or is there an alternative approach or third party library that offers something more convincing? public static class XssSecurity { public const string PotentialXssAttackExpression = "(http(s)*(%3a|:))|(ftp(s)*(%3a|:))|(javascript)|(alert)|(((\\%3C) <)[^\n]+((\\%3E) >))"; private static readonly Regex PotentialXssAttackRegex = new Regex(PotentialXssAttackExpression, RegexOptions.IgnoreCase); public static bool IsPotentialXssAttack(this HttpRequest request) { if(request != null) { string query = request.QueryString.ToString(); if(!string.IsNullOrEmpty(query) && PotentialXssAttackRegex.IsMatch(query)) return true; if(request.HttpMethod.Equals("post", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase)) { string form = request.Form.ToString(); if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(form) && PotentialXssAttackRegex.IsMatch(form)) return true; } if(request.Cookies.Count > 0) { foreach(HttpCookie cookie in request.Cookies) { if(PotentialXssAttackRegex.IsMatch(cookie.Value)) { return true; } } } } return false; } public static void ValidateRequest(this HttpContext context, string redirectToPath = null) { if(context == null || !context.Request.IsPotentialXssAttack()) return; // expire all cookies foreach(HttpCookie cookie in context.Request.Cookies) { cookie.Expires = DateTime.Now.Subtract(TimeSpan.FromDays(1)); context.Response.Cookies.Set(cookie); } // redirect to safe path bool redirected = false; if(redirectToPath != null) { try { context.Response.Redirect(redirectToPath,true); redirected = true; } catch { redirected = false; } } if (redirected) return; string safeUrl = context.Request.Url.AbsolutePath.Replace(context.Request.Url.Query, string.Empty); context.Response.Redirect(safeUrl,true); } }

  • Tracking Digital Assets in sharepoint?

    - by Krantz
    Hello, I need to build out a feature that will let the content authors know if a particular asset (e.g. an Image or a video under site assets library) is being referenced by any content(Pages) in the sharepoint site. Is there any built-in feature that can assist in that? If not, do you have any suggestions on how should I go about it? Thanks, Krantz

  • Sending HTML email from PHP

    - by KevinM
    I am trying to send a simple HTML e-mail from PHP. The code below simply results in a blank e-mail in GMail. It also has an empty attachment called 'noname', which is not at all what I want; though that might just be a symptom of it not working. The code I am using is: <?php //define the receiver of the email $to = '[email protected]'; //define the subject of the email $subject = 'Test HTML email'; //create a boundary string. It must be unique //so we use the MD5 algorithm to generate a random hash $random_hash = md5(date('r', time())); //define the headers we want passed. Note that they are separated with \r\n $headers = "From: [email protected]\r\nReply-To: [email protected]"; //add boundary string and mime type specification $headers .= "\r\nContent-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=\"PHP-alt-".$random_hash."\""; //define the body of the message. ob_start(); //Turn on output buffering ?> --PHP-alt-<?php echo $random_hash; ?> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello World!!! This is simple text email message. --PHP-alt-<?php echo $random_hash; ?> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <h2>Hello World!</h2> <p>This is something with <b>HTML</b>formatting.</p> --PHP-alt-<?php echo $random_hash; ?>-- <? //copy current buffer contents into $message variable and delete current output buffer $message = ob_get_clean(); //send the email $mail_sent = @mail( $to, $subject, $message, $headers ); //if the message is sent successfully print "Mail sent". Otherwise print "Mail failed" echo $mail_sent ? "Mail sent" : "Mail failed";

  • How can I pin a div in my sidebar column to the bottom?

    - by vg1890
    I have a simple two column layout with a footer at the bottom. When the content in the sidebar is taller than the content in the main column, everything looks great. But when the height of the main column is greater than the sidebar, I need the sidebar to grow to the same height as the main column and for the last <div> in the sidebar to be pinned to the very bottom. Here's my sample code: http://jsfiddle.net/mqnML/1/

  • Drupal Ctools Form Wizard in a Block

    - by Iamjon
    Hi everyone I created a custom module that has a Ctools multi step form. It's basically a copy of http://www.nicklewis.org/using-chaos-tools-form-wizard-build-multistep-forms-drupal-6. The form works. I can see it if I got to the url i made for it. For the life of me I can't get the multistep form to show up in a block. • How to create 2 different scripts for 2 browsers (IE+all the rest)

    - by Barnabas Nagy
    I'm trying to solve an IE CSS issue by using conditional tags. My jQuery that does the job of tabbed box effect calls an id that is inside the conditional tags. I've given new ids to IE so on IE the jQuery is not working. I tried to duplicate the script with the new id in one of the script but the 2 scripts seems to get in conflict. My jQuery (in between the head tags) is (for all all browsers except IE): <script> var currentTab = 0; // Set to a different number to start on a different tab. function openTab(clickedTab) { var thisTab = $(".tabbed-box .tabs a").index(clickedTab); $(".tabbed-box .tabs li a").removeClass("active"); $(".tabbed-box .tabs li a:eq("+thisTab+")").addClass("active"); $(".tabbed-box .tabbed-content").hide(); $(".tabbed-box .tabbed-content:eq("+thisTab+")").show(); currentTab = thisTab; } $(document).ready(function() { $(".tabs li:eq(0) a").css("border-left", "none"); $(".tabbed-box .tabs li a").click(function() { openTab($(this)); return false; }); $(".tabbed-box .tabs li a:eq("+currentTab+")").click() }); </script> And I would need this for IE: <script> var currentTab = 0; // Set to a different number to start on a different tab. function openTab(clickedTab) { var thisTab = $(".tabbed-box .tabs a").index(clickedTab); $(".tabbed-box ie-.tabs li a").removeClass("active"); $(".tabbed-box ie-.tabs li a:eq("+thisTab+")").addClass("active"); $(".tabbed-box .tabbed-content").hide(); $(".tabbed-box .tabbed-content:eq("+thisTab+")").show(); currentTab = thisTab; } $(document).ready(function() { $(".ie-tabs li:eq(0) a").css("border-left", "none"); $(".tabbed-box .ie-tabs li a").click(function() { openTab($(this)); return false; }); $(".tabbed-box .ie-tabs li a:eq("+currentTab+")").click() }); </script> Having the 2 scripts in the head conflicts with each other. Maybe there is a way to combine them?

  • XPath query returning 'false' in SimpleXML

    - by Drew
    Hi all, I have an xml fragment as such: <meta_tree type="root"> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Content Provider</meta_cat> <data>Mammoth</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Genre</meta_cat> <data>Games</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Channel Name</meta_cat> <data>Games Trailers</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Collection</meta_cat> <data>Strategy</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Custom 1</meta_cat> <data>PC</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>DRM Protected</meta_cat> <data>N</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Aspect Ratio</meta_cat> <data>16:9</data> </meta_data> <meta_data> <meta_cat>Streaming Type</meta_cat> <data>VOD</data> </meta_data> </meta_tree> which I garnered from the snippet of $meta_tree->asXML(). So given that, I need to have an xpath query for each element, so I'm using: $meta_tree->xpath("/meta_data[meta_cat='Content Provider']"); but this returns false. I have tried: "/meta_tree/meta_data[meta_cat='Content Provider']" "//meta_data[meta_cat='Content Provider']" I've been using AquaPath, which validates my query, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Anyone got any ideas? DJS.

  • Generating custom-form documents from base-form plus XML?

    - by KlaymenDK
    Hi all, this is my first stack overflow, and it's a complex one. Sorry. My task is to generate custom documents from a basic template plus some XML without having a custom form design element for each case. Here's the whole picture: We are building a Lotus Notes (client, not web) application for world-wide application access control; the scope is something like 400.000 users being able to request access to any of 1000+ applications. Each application needs its own request form -- different number of approvers, various info required, that sort of thing. We simply can't have a thousand forms in a database (one per application), and anyway their maintenance really needs to be pushed from the developers to the application owners. So instead of custom forms, we'd like to create a generic "template" form that stores a block of basic fields, but then allows application owners to define another block of fields dynamically -- "I want a mandatory plain-text field named 'Name' here, and then a date field named 'Due' here that must be later than today's date, and then ...". I hope this makes sense (if not, think of it as a generic questionnaire application). I pretty much have the structure in place for designing the dynamic fields (form builder GUI - XML-encoded data - pre-rendered DXL for injecting into a form), including mark-up for field types, value options, and rudimentary field validation instructions. My problem is generating a document with this dynamic content injected at the proper location (without needing a custom form design element for each case). Doing the dynamic content via HTML is out. The Notes client web rendering is simply way too poor, and it would be quite a challenge to implement things like field validation instructions, date selectors, and name look-ups. DXL, on the other hand, would allow us to use native Notes fields and code. As a tech demo, I've managed to implement a custom form generator that injects the pre-rendered DXL for the dynamic content into a base form; but as I said, we don't want a ton of custom form design elements. I've tried to implement a way to create a document with the "store form in document" flag set, but once I've created the document from the base form, I can't get DXL access to the stored form design, and so I can't inject my dynamic content. I know this is not something Notes was ever intended to do. Has anyone ever tried something like it (and gotten away with it)? Thanks for reading this far. With a boatload of thanks in advance, Jan Gundtofte-Bruun

  • uses for dynamic scope?

    - by Stephen
    Hi, I've been getting my hands wet with emacs lisp, and one thing that trips me up sometimes is the dynamic scope. Is there much of a future for it? Most languages I know use static scoping (or have moved to static scoping, like Python), and probably because I know it better I tend to prefer it. Are there specific applications/instances or examples where dynamic scope is more useful?

  • Is there a declarative way to force a set of Buttons to be the same size?

    - by Jekke
    I'm writing a form in XAML that has multiple buttons with content of different sizes (ie "OK" and "Save As...") Ideally, I'd like them all to be the smallest size possible to hold the largest content. In the example above, both buttons would be the width necessary to hold "Save As..." plus the margins and padding. If they were Grid cells, I could use a SizeGroup. Is there a similar declaration for Buttons?

    I have hierarchy: public class Parameter { public string Name { get; set; } public Value Value { get; set; } } public abstract class Value { } public class StringValue : Value { public string Str { get; set; } } public class ComplexValue : Value { public ComplexValue() { Parameters = new List<Parameter>(); } public List<Parameter> Parameters { get; set; } } /// Contains ComplexValue public class ComplexParameter : Parameter { } And XAML with templates <Window.Resources> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type pc:Parameter}"> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition/> <ColumnDefinition/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Label Grid.Column="0" Content="{Binding Name}"/> <ContentPresenter Grid.Column="1" Content="{Binding Value}"/> </Grid> </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type pc:ComplexParameter}"> <StackPanel> <Label Content="{Binding Name}"/> <ContentControl Margin="18,0,0,0" Content="{Binding Value}"/> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type pc:ComplexValue}"> <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Parameters}"/> </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type pc:StringValue}"> <TextBox Text="{Binding Str}"/> </DataTemplate> </Window.Resources> This look like: Param1 -Control---- Param2 -Control---- Complex1 Sub Param1 -Control- Sub Param2 -Control- Or image here: freeimagehosting.net/uploads/9d438f52e7.png Question How to do indent only in left column (parameter names). Something like this: Param1 -Control---- Param2 -Control---- Complex1 Sub Param1 -Control---- Sub Param2 -Control---- Or image here: freeimagehosting.net/uploads/4ab3045b75.png

  • jquery 1.4.1 breaks my slideshow

    - by JMC Creative
    After toying with the jquery slideshow extension, I created my own that better suited my purposes ( I didn't like that all the images needed to load at the beginning for instance). Now, upon upgrading to jQuery 1.4.2 (I know I'm late), the slideshow loads the first image fine ( from the line$('div#slideshow img#ssone').fadeIn(1500); towards the bottom), but doesn't do anything beyond that. Does anyone have any idea which jquery construct is killing my script? The live page is at lplonline.org which is using 1.3.2 for the time being. Thanks in advance. Array.prototype.random = function( r ) { var i = 0, l = this.length; if( !r ) { r = this.length; } else if( r > 0 ) { r = r % l; } else { i = r; r = l + r % l; } return this[ Math.floor( r * Math.random() - i ) ]; }; jQuery(function($){ var imgArr = new Array(); imgArr[1] = "wp-content/uploads/rotator/Brbrshop4-hrmnywkshp72006.jpg"; imgArr[2] = "wp-content/uploads/rotator/IMGA0125.JPG"; //etc, etc, about 30 of these are created dynamically from a db function randImgs () { var randImg = imgArr.random(); var img1 = $('div#slideshow img#ssone'); var img2 = $('div#slideshow img#sstwo'); if(img1.is(':visible') ) { img2.fadeIn(1500); img1.fadeOut(1500,function() { img1.attr({src : randImg}); }); } else { img1.fadeIn(1500); img2.fadeOut(1500,function() { img2.attr({src : randImg}); }); } } setInterval(randImgs,9000); // 9 SECONDS $('div#slideshow img#ssone').fadeIn(1500); }); </script> <div id="slideshow"> <img id="ssone" style="display:none;" src="wp-content/uploads/rotator/quote-investments.png" alt="" /> <img id="sstwo" style="display:none;" src="wp-content/uploads/rotator/quote-drugs.png" alt="" /> </div>

  • Recursion problem; completely lost

    - by timeNomad
    So I've been trying to solve this assignment whole day, just can't get it. The following function accepts 2 strings, the 2nd (not 1st) possibly containing *'s (asterisks). An * is a replacement for a string (empty, 1 char or more), it can appear appear (only in s2) once, twice, more or not at all, it cannot be adjacent to another * (ab**c), no need to check that. public static boolean samePattern(String s1, String s2) It returns true if strings are of the same pattern. It must be recursive, not use any loops, static & global variables. Can use local variables & method overloading. Can use only these methods: charAt(i), substring(i), substring(i, j), length(). Examples: 1: TheExamIsEasy; 2: "The*xamIs*y" --- true 1: TheExamIsEasy; 2: "Th*mIsEasy*" --- true 1: TheExamIsEasy; 2: "*" --- true 1: TheExamIsEasy; 2: "TheExamIsEasy" --- true 1: TheExamIsEasy; 2: "The*IsHard" --- FALSE I tried comparing the the chars one by one using charAt until an asterisk is encountered, then check if the asterisk is an empty one by comparing is successive char (i+1) with the char of s1 at position i, if true -- continue recursion with i+1 as counter for s2 & i as counter for s1; if false -- continue recursion with i+1 as counters for both. Continue this until another asterisk is found or end of string. I dunno, my brain loses track of things, can't concentrate, any pointers / hints? Am I in the right direction? Also, it's been told that a backtracking technique is to be used to solve this. My code so far (doesn't do the job, even theoretically): public static boolean samePattern(String s1, String s2) { if (s1.equals(s2) || s2 == "*") { return true; } return samePattern(s1, s2, 1); } public static boolean samePattern(String s1, String s2, int i) { if (s1.equals(s2)) return true; if (i == s2.length() - 1) // No *'s found -- not same pattern. return false; if (s1.substring(0, i).equals(s2.substring(0, i))) samePattern(s1, s2, i+1); else if (s2.charAt(i-1) == '*') samePattern(s1.substring(0, i-1), s2.substring(0, i), 1); // new smaller strings. else samePattern(s1.substring(1), s2, i); }

  • Lightweight CMS in PHP

    - by David
    Hi, I am building a site which will require some very limited content management for a client. There are only a few areas of the site which will require the client to be able to update the content themselves. Would it be better to create a very simple custom admin page for the client to log in and say add a news story etc or would it be best using a fully fledged CMS like Drupal etc which seems overkill to me.
