  • Trouble reinstalling Gem after power failure

    Yesterday I tried to install Jeweler via Rubygems, however somewhere in the middle of the process I had a power failure, resulting in my computer turning off in the middle of the installation process. Once I got it back up, I tried to reinstall Jeweler, however resulting in an error I've had trouble decoding. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem? (I tried uninstall, cleanup and check)

    I have a very large table in my database and I am starting to get this error Could not allocate a new page for database 'mydatabase' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup. How do you fix this error? I don't understand the suggestions there.

    As usual I typed sudo Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all It uninstalled the first version (Beta) properly. Tried the same thing on the older Stable Version which I have installed to "XCode Stable" Getting this error Use of uninitialized value $dir_name in substitution (s///) at Library/uninstall-devtools line 153. Use of uninitialized value $developer_dir in concatenation (.) or string at Library/uninstall-devtools line 120 Anyone else facing this problem? Can I just trash the installation folder?

    i want to install phusion passenger together with ruby enterprise edition on x86_64 SMP ubuntu 10.04. the recommended option seems to be apache2-mpm-worker but when i run passenger-install-apache2-module the installation routine of phusion passenger complains To install Apache 2 development headers: Please run apt-get install apache2-prefork-dev as root. why do we need prefork-dev here, if we clearly want to run passenger with mpm-worker apache2? any suggestions? is there a worker-dev package?

    I want my javascript object to be initialized just once, so each new browser window will not create new data items, new functions, etc... usually we initialize the code at the end of main javascript using load window.addEventListener("load", main.onLoad, false); so once the second browser window opened, the initialization code will start from scratch. However, I would like to re-use the existing object on consequent browsers. Any mechanism that I can use?

    Hi Everybody, i'm running Windows as well as Ubuntu and like to sync both tweetdeck installations via dropbox. Therefore i need to locate two files: td_26_[username].db preferences_[username].xml I found them on windows under the folder c:\Users[account]\AppData\Roaming\TweetDeckFast.[random string]\Local Store\ But i can't find them on my ubuntu installation.     There's database with a bunch of tables that are joined with join tables. E.g. Members and Division are joined with MembersDivisions table. JSP/Servlet login functionality has been developed, but now the CRUD functionality needs to be implemented and I was unable to find any tutorials about it, especially involving the join table(when creating new division you can add members to it, or add more to the existing one). Maybe someone could, theoretically, explain how to do the Division part of the CRUD web form?

Or would it be better to download only the SSH Task and add that file manually to the stable phing install?

    Hi, We would like to test our web application (jsf 1.2, richfaces 3.3.3) with jsfunit. We are using junit 4.8.1 library for our unit tests. But jsfunit (1.2.0.Final) requires non existing class junit.runner.TestSuiteLoader. If i downgrade to junit 3.8, i can't use annotations any my Test classes any more. Is there a solution for it?
