  • Chrome Open in New Tab/Window Menu Items

    The problem is, both Firefox and Internet Explorer have "Open in New Tab" as the second option. This has become muscle memory for me by now, to the point that I don't use as often as I want to, solely because I can't open a page in a new tab without thinking about it. Is there a way to switch the position of "Open Link in new tab" and "Open link in new window", so that I can resume browsing as normal, or am I cursed by this user interface design nightmare by Google?

  • How to show subscribed Gmail calendars in Windows 8 calendar app

    Is it possible to show my subscribed calendars on Gmail in the Windows 8 calendar app like I'm used to do on my Windows Phone? I think - but am not sure about that - that it uses the mobile API. When I try to configure it via http://m.google.com/sync on my Windows Phone I can see the client "WindowsMail" but cannot add or configure shared calendars as for my smartphone. Is there currently a possibility to achieve this or do we need to wait until they get that enabled for us?

    Hi, I wanted to try and I installed Internet Explorer 9 and now Firefox is acting strangely, For example the URL Windows aren't opening in time, when I Maximize Firefox the window Title is blinking crazy. But Google Earth is acting even more strangely,The application seems to work but when I browse or zoom Earth I immediately experience lots of blinking on my screen. How do I uninstall Internet Explorer 9 or Rollback to Internet Explorer 8?

  • Why are all google website suddenly giving untrusted certificate warnings in my Firefox v10?

    Today, I am suddenly getting the untrusted website error for all Google websites, but not for any other. Internet Explorer gives no such error. Reboot of this Windows 7 computer does not help. Is this some kind of virus infection that is hijacking DNS resolution away from Google to some spoofer? How can I resolve this issue and get Google websites working again normally? If I manually enter a Google IP Address, the page loads correctly.

    When you select some text with Firefox and Chrome for that matter you can right click the highlight text and search some query (highlight the text above and right click) Search Google for "some query" How can I stop it from opening in the new tab. I cannot find it in about:config or chrome://plugins I don't want it opened in the SAME tab. I want it opened in a NEW tab but I DON'T want Firefox/Chrome to automatically switch to the new tab once opened..

    I'm using RabbitVCS to work with Google Code, and I just recently started having problems with trying to commit. Whenever I try to commit, it says... Commit failed Server sent unexpected return value (500 Internal Server Error) in response to Checkout request for (some file that is involved in the commit. The file it fails on isn't consistent).     If I want to use CloudFlare to help protect my GAE app via it's custom domain, I still am vulnerable to attacks directly on the .appspot.com domain. How do I mitigate that? I could force redirect appspot.com host requests, such as discussed here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1364733/block-requests-from-appspot-com-and-force-custom-domain-in-google-app-engine/ But I would still suffer the load of processing the redirect in my app. Are there any other solutions?

I notice that we have the Chrome backup feature which will restore my chrome extensions after we sign in via a Google account.     Hi Guys, I upgraded to 64bit ubuntu and every now and again (quite often though) i am unable to to type into the search box for google in chrome and firefox, i havent tried other browsers as these are the 2 i primarily use. Has anyone else experienced this? any solutions? also i'm unable to drag the slider in youtube (in firefox) to scan through videos.

    Iam running Linux Mint on my laptop and i have some (serious) problems with Google Chrome.Randomly Chrome becomes totally unresponsive and iam not able to do anything,except restart the system from the power button.I think it's not an issue with system load and/or RAM,because if i for example open lot of "heavy" programs everything seems to work quite fine.When i only run Chrome with not many tabs at random times it freezes the whole system.The weird thing is that Chrome is not heavily loaded with tabs or extensions.I can't figure out what is causing this problem.Any suggestion?Thank you in advance.

    I looked at all the other posts on this but can't find the directories mentioned (~/.config/google-chrome/Default/Bookmarks, it's a JSON file.). Being a 2 day Newbie to Ubuntu/Linux I would like to know if the location has changed in the latest version or if not how I locate the directory indicated. I have logged in as root and searched for the folder and can't find it although I imported my bookmarks from a html file so I know that they must be saved somewhere.
