  • php web services not getting data from iphone application

    Hi, I am connecting with a php web service from my iphone application, I am doing a simple thing i.e. 1. Getting user inputs for: username password in a text field from the iphone form and sending the same to the PHP Post request web service. At the web service end I receive nothing other than blank fields that are inserted into the MySQL Database.......     I tried parsing a gigantic XML file and I ended up running out of virtual memory. The OS put all my applications on pause and gave me a screen to shutdown applications to free more space. I killed the XML parsing application and now have tons of space but I can't resume my paused applications anymore. What should I do?

    I just bought HTC Tattoo with Android 1.6 and to my disappointment, there are lots of applications that I cannot find in my market. I use AppBrain, to select and install apps but once I try to install them, there is error message that application does not exist. Same thing is when I try to install using barcode. What is going on? I guess it has something to do with my location (Europe) but I could not find note about this anywhere.

    Are there any good web server log analysis tools that can provide me with daily statistics on individual URLs? I guess I'm looking at something that can drill down into particular URLs and on particular days rather than just a monthly summary report. The following don't seem to meet my needs as they don't offer drilling down to get more detailed info: awstats analog webalizer (I'm running an nginx frontend into Apache with nginx outputting 'combined' format logfiles if it makes any difference.)

    I'm trying to get Thunderbird to be my default application to subscribe to feed that I visit in firefox. I "choose application" and put in the path of Thunderbird executable C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe And it doesn't work, asks me to close Thunderbird It's strange that Firefox has Outlook as a selectable option which works flawlessly but its own brother Thunderbird isn't even on the list of defaults. PS: And when I have Thunderbird closed and then do the above, it starts the Thunderbird and puts the feed in whatever folder it likes without even asking me.

They used to run and end without abending, but now they open and stay open and I have to setup the task to quit them by force before their next scheduled run.     I deployed an ASP.NET web application last night and I when I woke up this morning it was very slow and would occasionally just throw a 'Service Unavailable' error. I checked the Event Viewer and it was filled up with these errors: I'm puzzled as it was working perfectly when I deployed it (MonoTorrent is required to retrieve the number of seeders/leechers for a certain torrent off the tracker - this was working fine), but it's no longer working and whenever code that uses MonoTorrent gets involved, the worker process just crashes. MonoTorrent.dll is in the /bin/ directory.
