    I have a ListBox container data bound and templatized as so: <ListBox x:Name="ListBox" ItemsSource="{Binding Source={StaticResource List}}" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource ListTemplate}"> </ListBox> Within my ListTemplate resource, I define a Grid which contains a few child elements. I have setup a click event handler on one of child elements. The event hander is not row-specific, and I need a (best practice) way of identifying which row in the ListBox the event fired upon. From my data source, I have an unique ID which corresponds to the row. I do not currently expose this ID in the data binding, though could. Ideally I would like the event handler to be able to identify the ID of the row the event was fired upon. Thank you!

  • MEF Why is ComposePart an extension method?

    CompositionContainer.ComposePart is an extension method. why is that? Looking into the System.Componentmodel.Composition assembly, it looks like it's because it is ONLY meant to work with the attributed programming model while the .Compose() method is able to take in exports as long as it is a composablepart. ComposePart is even hosted in the 'AttributedModelServices' class which makes me think I'm correct. Am I correct on this? If not, why is it an extension method and not a method in the container class?

    I have a website that needs to pull information from two diffferent XML data sources. Originally I only need to get the data from one source so I was building a URL in the backend that went and retrieved the data from the XML site and then parsed and rendered it in the front end of the website. Now I have to use a 2nd data source and merge the result sets (which are identically structured XML) into one result set.     The method sliding on collections returns a sliding window of given size in the form of X[Iterable[A]] with X being the type of the collection and A the element type. Often I need two or three elements and I prefer to have them named. One ugly workaround for sliding(2) is the following: points.sliding(2).foreach{ twoPoints => val (p1,p2) = (twoPoints.head,twoPoints.last) //do something } This sucks and only works for two elements. Also note that (a,b) = (twoPoints(0),twoPoints(1)) doesn't work. Help me!

    I am printing a menu using UL, the trouble is the order that is generated by my script is ignored because im printing the LI one after the other and they're spanning three across. So the order is 1 , 2 , 3 as opposed to 1 2 3 To counteract this i wanted to split my single UL into three that way the order would be maintained. This should happen only when the process "Gtalk" is started, [not when running] The code I have written and implemented, doesn't allow to open IExplore when Gtalk is running. That is certainly what not I am trying for. The process Gtalk should close browser only at its start-up, After the process is started, it should allow to open IExplore. Is it possible with Windows service or is it must be the part of Gtalk process itself? So the class would be something like: class xFromArray() { } So the above if I passed $array_1 it would generate something like this: private $one; setOne($x) { $one = $x; } getOne() { return $one; } if I passed $array_2 it would generate something like this: private $red; setRed($x) { $red = $x; } getRed() { return $red; } So I would call it somehow like this?     I load a piece of html which contains something like: <em> < input type="text" value="Untitled" name="ViewTitle" id="ViewTitle" runat="server"> </em> into my control. The html is user defined, do please do not ask me to add them statically on the aspx page. On my page, I have a placeholder and I can use LiteralControl target = new LiteralControl (); // html string contains user-defined controls target.text = htmlstring to render it property. My problem is, since its a html piece, even if i know the input box's id, i cannot access it using FindControl("ViewTitle") (it will just return null) because its rendered as a text into a Literal control and all the input controls were not added to the container's control collections. I definitely can use Request.Form["ViewTitle"] to access its value, but how can I set its value?

    New to Mongo here. I'm using the PHP lib and trying to work out how I can find in a collection from multiple queries. I could do this by repeating the query with a different query, but I wondered if it can be done in one. I.e. $idsToLookFor = array(2124,4241,5553); $query = $db->thisCollection->find(array('id' => $idsToLookFor)); That's what I'd like to do. However it doesn't work. What I'm trying to do is find a set of results for all the id's at one time. Possible or just do a findOne on each with a foreach/for?

    I'm using a BooleanQuery to combine several queries. I find that if I add a BooleanQuery to the BooleanQuery, then no result is returned. The added BooleanQuery is a MUST_NOT one, like -city_id:100. But as lucene's spec says, BooleanQuery could be nested, which I think means it's okay to add such BooleanQuery. Now I have to get all clauses from the BooleanQuery to be added, and then add them to the container BooleanQuery one by one. I'm a bit confused. Anybody could help? Thank you very much!

    I have the following html: <li> <span class="one">Stuff here</span> <span class="two">More stuff</span> </li> .one { display: block; } .two { display: none; } What is the easiest method, preferably CSS only, to hide one and show two when the mouse rolls over the <li> container. If this cannot be done via CSS and only Javascript, I would prefer jQuery via something like live() as the content is updated live and do not wish to constantly rebind manually. EDIT: I forgot to mention that this has to work in IE6 :/

    I have a div container with a text that has been previously typed in by the user. I would like to adjust the size of the div to this text. I cannot have fixed size because I dont know the length of the text. If there is no size specified div takes the width of entire window. This cause some problems for me because I am using JQuery draggable plugin and the scrollbars appear immediately when the div is dragged. Any advice on that?
