  • Symfony - Override sf_format when calling get_partial.

    I'm making an AJAX call in my symfony project, so it has an sf_format of 'js'. In the actionSuccess.js.php view, I call get_partial to update the content on the page. By default it looks for the partial in 'js' format since the sf_format is still set as 'js'. Is it possible to override the sf_format so that it uses the regular 'html' partial that I already have (so that I don't have to have two identical partials)?

  • Calling to_xml on an Array of ROXML objects results in an empty collection

    Hi there. I have a ROXML object that looks like: class Activity include ROXML xml_accessor :id end If I have an array of these objects and call .to_xml on the array, I receive an empty xml collection: "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>\n<activities type=\"array\">\n</activities>\n" Any idea why or how to fix this? I'm running Rails 2.3.5 with the newest version of ROXML. Thanks

  • NSTableView not refreshing when calling method from different class

    I have a table view that gets refreshed two different ways. One is through a button and the other is when I call my refresh method, which is the same method that I use for the button, but for some reason, when I hit the button it works, but when I call it through a different class it doesn't.     Say you had the following two constructors: - (id)initWithTitle:(NSString *)title; - (id)initWithTitle:(NSString *)title page:(NSString *)page; The second constructor is no different from the first, except that it sets up the member variable "page". Since it basically has to do the same thing, is there a way to call the first one from the second one to reduce code duplication, or do you have to set up a third method to do the common tasks?     Hi, Is there a way to call an R-Script within C-Code? I did find the R Api for C (chaper 6. of the 'Writing R Extensions' manual), but as far as I understood this does "only" allow to call the C-Implementation of R. Of cause I could call the R-Script via shell, but that's no solution for me, since this does not allow proper passing of data (at least no if I don't what to write the data into a Csv-File or something like this). Is there a easy way of using the R to C parser beforehand? Any hints you can give me? regards, Tiny

So i get error that says: this.getHoveredObject is not a function What is correct approach at that stuation?

I've done the simple 'god-mode' and 'unlimited money' things, but I want to do alot more than that. (Simple editing using WriteProcessMemory) There are memory addresses of functions on the internet of the video game I'm working on, and one of functions is like "CreateCar" and I'm wanting to call that function from an external program. My question: How can I call a function from an external process in C/C++, provided the function address, using a process handle or other method. PS: If anyone could link me to tools (I've got debuggers, no need for more..) that help with this sort of thing, that'd be nice.

    Hi guys. I have a function when the page is ready. <script> $(function(){ function do_ajax(){ do some stuff } });.... This works great on that page. Then I make a .post call and load the response into a div. The response has a <script>$(selector).click(function(){ do_ajax(); });</script> with the result. I get an error "do_ajax() is undefined". How can I call do_ajax() from an event from the ajax content? Another one. I am using jquery ui datepicker. So, when the page is loaded, I invoke the $(".datepicker").datepicker(); This works great on that page. Then I make a .post call and load the response into a div. The response has a couple of .datepicker fields. The problem is that the newly loaded datepicker fields don't get the calendar unless I return <script>$(".datepicker").datepicker();</script> with the result. Is that how you guys do it or is there another way? Thanks!

    Hi All, I have a function in Access VBA that takes four parameters.The fourth parameter is a "where clause" that I use in an SQL statement inside the function. The function fails when I include the fourth parameter (where clause). When I remove this fourth parameter, the function just works fine. I am not sure if there is anything wrong with the syntax of the fourth parameter ?
