  • What are some good resources for learning C beyond K&R

    Hi, I'm currently reaching the end of working through the K&R book "The C Programming Language", and I'm looking for things to read next. Any recommendations of: blogs more detailed / advanced books (I've already stuck Advanced Programming in a Unix Environment on my Safari bookshelf) open source code (beginner-friendly and with good C idioms or style) to read up on next would be gratefully appreciated.     Hi everybody I am developing an application to process geophysical signals; Right now I have done everything in octave and its digital signal processing toolbox, speed is not bad, however the application specifications say I need to port to the final algorithm to C; I am doing lots of filtering, re-sampling and signal manipulation/characterization with FFTs and cepstrums. do you know a good free C library for DSP packaged with filter design, resampling, fft, etc? Something that covers pipelines, superscalar architectures, caches etc. A book that is suitable for a programmer with several years of experience and has done and understands assembly programming and machine language, so basically not "CPUs for Dummies" or anything such.
