I'm using jQuery UI to switch the tabs on the location map/street view module. I've recently upgraded the Google Maps code as well as the Google Streetview code to version 3. So when I open it in Firefox, with Firebug on, as soon as I switch to the Streetview tab, the navigation and zoom in out controls show, but nothing shows.. and then when I try to drag the map around, it does not move around, but instead, causes errors in Firebug: "too much recursion". So it causes the whole browser to become buggy, slows down, and the errors happen, and nothing shows on the streetview pane. Most of the map loading code is located in inline Javascript on the page itself.     I am trying to implement a custom infoBubble that has the box opening to the side of a marker. This has turned out to be harder than expected. Using the normal infoWindow you can use pixelOffset. See here for the documentation Using infoBubble this does not seem to be the case. Is there anyway of using pixelOffset in an infoBubble, or something that will do the same thing?   • [WordPress 3.1.3] Sreen option is disabled when a plugin is activated

    I'm pretty new to wordpress. I was assigned to create a custom plugin for one of our projects here. The plugin worked as expected and there is no problem activating/deactivating it. When I was exploring the admin panel I noticed that the screen option is off. I read from a blog somewhere that deactivating the plugin one by one to check which plugin has caused this. I did just this and found out that the custom plugin I created was the cause. My question is, is there way to check what have caused this? Some log file I can look into? There is no error message or warning when I activated the plugin and it is giving the output required. This is my first plugin, any advice will be helpful. Btw, this plugin will display a comment (most recent will be shown first) in a widget and there is prev/next navigation to go through the rest of the comments. Thanks, RNorbe

  • Google Play Music Not Adding MP3s On-Demand

    My recent attempts to add music on-demand to Google Play Music have yielded nothing - no "Processing music..." or "Added __ of __" messages, just nothing. Previously I could add music on-demand; and nothing has changed on the machine from which I successfully added music previously, from which I have tried to add music on-demand recently. What could be hampering my ability to add music on-demand? WHAT I'VE TRIED: Right after I started using GPM, I briefly found that I could not add music (on-demand), but the problem went away after a logout/login. This time a logout/login has not helped. Dragging & dropping or browsing to folders or files to add has made no difference either. Nor has waiting ridiculously long for GPM to show signs of life after adding music on-demand seemed to work. Digging deeper, I read a related Google Play Help article and followed its suggestions... ran the Google Play Music Manager troubleshooter = no errors or warnings double checked my available storage = 8 GB free double checked supported file types = MP3 is still supported (of course) ..., but the problem remains. UPDATE: I found that if I configure GPM to automatically upload music added to specific folders, it strangely does add automatically what it will not add on-demand.

I'm trying to understand the use cases for the Google Apps Sync for Outlook tool http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=23333 with respect to email and calendar entries. The description says it syncs your Outlook email and calendar items with Google Apps, but doesn't using Outlook as an IMAP client against Google Apps do the same?

Everything was working until I switched to dedicated server. First I added DNS role to my new server and I configured whole DNS and NS stuff. I have mail address that mail.domain.com that was redirecting to google app email before. Rightnow, It's not possible to access to mail.domain.com addres from somewhere. But I'm accessing from a few point which located some computer on different network. I stacked in this problem. Please, see the below screen shots I checked on DNSStuff.com,everything is green. Also, I checked on InteliWiz, it seems correct And, Here is the my DNS records. I was accessing to my mail.domain.com address from everywhere, Now, I cannot access to mails from many places since 3 week. Where is the my mistake ? Any help would be appriciated.

    I am building an website. It has an .nl domain. Now only my domain is showing up on google.nl I hope I can change this somehow that it could be findable in all google's (like google.com / co.uk) and so on. If I look on google forums. They say go to webmaster tools and change your geographic position over there. But I have added this site and I am not able to change it there because there is no select box. I dont have any idea were to search (yes I searched on google offcourse) or where to ask for this special problem. So maybe here can someone redirect me or explain me what is possible and what not.   • Eclipse CDT wont recognize standard library

    I work primarily on my desktop, but I started working on my mac laptop and noticed a problem with eclipse CDT. The standard library was underlined yellow and cout wouldn't work (It wouldn't recognize/find it). I tried restarting the program and that didn't work. I then tried to see if xcode would work, found that the version of xcode was too old, and updated xcode. Eclipse still didn't work, but xcode did. I tried re-installing eclipse to the new version and re-installing cdt. It still wouldn't work. Restarting my computer wont work either. I'm not sure if this helps (or even matters/applies) but when I type g++ --version into terminal, it doesn't work. (I don't know if that matters but some tutorial told me to do that to check if the compiler was working). So, in review, I have: Re-installed eclipse Restarted my computer Re-installed xcode (which I think has all the compilers eclipse uses.) Updated Eclipse Typed g++ --version to test compiler.

    Support for Parent Objects was added in Solaris 11 Update 1. The following material is adapted from the PSARC arc case, and the Solaris Linker and Libraries Manual. A "plugin" is a shared object, usually loaded via dlopen(), that is used by a program in order to allow the end user to add functionality to the program. Examples of plugins include those used by web browsers (flash, acrobat, etc), as well as mdb and elfedit modules. The object that loads the plugin at runtime is called the "parent object". Unlike most object dependencies, the parent is not identified by name, but by its status as the object doing the load. Historically, building a good plugin is has been more complicated than it should be: A parent and its plugin usually share a 2-way dependency: The plugin provides one or more routines for the parent to call, and the parent supplies support routines for use by the plugin for things like memory allocation and error reporting. It is a best practice to build all objects, including plugins, with the -z defs option, in order to ensure that the object specifies all of its dependencies, and is self contained. However: The parent is usually an executable, which cannot be linked to via the usual library mechanisms provided by the link editor. Even if the parent is a shared object, which could be a normal library dependency to the plugin, it may be desirable to build plugins that can be used by more than one parent, in which case embedding a dependency NEEDED entry for one of the parents is undesirable. The usual way to build a high quality plugin with -z defs uses a special mapfile provided by the parent. This mapfile defines the parent routines, specifying the PARENT attribute (see example below). This works, but is inconvenient, and error prone. The symbol table in the parent already describes what it makes available to plugins — ideally the plugin would obtain that information directly rather than from a separate mapfile. The new -z parent option to ld allows a plugin to link to the parent and access the parent symbol table. This differs from a typical dependency: No NEEDED record is created. The relationship is recorded as a logical connection to the parent, rather than as an explicit object name However, it operates in the same manner as any other dependency in terms of making symbols available to the plugin. When the -z parent option is used, the link-editor records the basename of the parent object in the dynamic section, using the new tag DT_SUNW_PARENT. This is an informational tag, which is not used by the runtime linker to locate the parent, but which is available for diagnostic purposes. The ld(1) manpage documentation for the -z parent option is: -z parent=object Specifies a "parent object", which can be an executable or shared object, against which to link the output object. This option is typically used when creating "plugin" shared objects intended to be loaded by an executable at runtime via the dlopen() function. The symbol table from the parent object is used to satisfy references from the plugin object. The use of the -z parent option makes symbols from the object calling dlopen() available to the plugin. Example For this example, we use a main program, and a plugin. The parent provides a function named parent_callback() for the plugin to call.     I have fallen in love with the Google Chrome App way of making an "app" (and extensions as well). What kind of installer would you recommend (free and/or cheap is preferred) that is cross-platform (Mac, Windows 2000+, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Suse, Redhat, or derivatives)) and lets me deploy Google Chrome Apps on workstations? It would need to let me deploy Google Chrome, or update Google Chrome to a particular version, as necessary, in order for my app to work.
