  I am getting the following error on one of our production servers. Not sure why it is working on the DEV server? Parser Error Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately. Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'TestMvcApplication.MvcApplication'. Source Error: Line 1: <%@ Application Codebehind="Global.asax.cs" Inherits="TestMvcApplication.MvcApplication" Language="C#" % Source File: /global.asax Line: 1 Not sure if anybody came across this error before and how it was solved, but I have reached the end. Any help would be appreciated. I also need to mention that this is the published code, so all is compiled. Can there be something wrong with my compiler settings?

  I have a page here with a few list views on it that are all bound to Linq data sources and they seem to be working just fine. I want to add validation such that when a checkbox (IsVoid on the object) is checked, comments must be entered (VoidedComments on the object).   Hi All, I am trying to play video files from iPhone media player in my iphone application.I am reading the stream from one Media server. but i am getting error message as "The server is not configured correctly". Here is my observation: - I kept five different video files on server.(i am sure that all of these files are properly encoded and in right format.) - When i try to run same video URL in Mobile Safari i works perfectly without any error. - When i try to run any of video it doesn't create any stream on media server.(Usually when i try to play video it create stream on media server.but here the stream is not created on server side.) - I tried to play this files using Apple's sample application MoviePlayer but i am facing same issue.(Here i tried to run the application on Simulator) I also checked on my iphone 2G having OS 3.1.2 (jailbreak) but i face same issue.   I'm using Interop.Domino.dll to retrieve E-mails from a Lotus "Database" (Term used loosely). I'm having some difficulty in retrieving certain fields and wonder how to do this properly. I've been using NotesDocument.GetFirstItem to retrieve Subject, From and Body. My issues in this regard are thus: How do I retrieve Reply-To address? Is there a list of "Items" to get somewhere? I can't find it. How do I retrieve friendly names for From and Reply-To addresses? When I retrieve Body this way, it's formatted wierdly with square bracket sets ([]) interspersed randomly across the message body, and parts of the text aren't where I expect them. • Workflow Foundation 4 WorkflowServiceHost Message Correlation

  I have 2 methods on a workflow service hosted in WorkflowServiceHost. The first method is called and starts the regular workflow sequence - talking to other web services, database work etc but on some occassions will pause and persist to db (as-in the delay activity) and wait for some human action to take place before continuing. I need my second method to be able to hook into this persisted workflow, change a local variable and then continuing processing. I have looked at message based correlation in workflow but can only seem to find examples where some kind of infinite while loop keeps the workflow instance active so that the second service method call can arrive whilst it's still running. Because my workflow instance will be delayed/persisted, the second service call doesn't seem to get anywhere (I can't have an infinite while loop keeping the workflow instance active).   Hi everyone. I am working on a project to implement digital signatures of outgoing messages and decided to use M2Crypto for that. I have a certificate (in DER format) from which I extract the keys to sign the message. For some reason I keep getting an ugly segmentation fault error when I call the "sign_update" method. Given the previous examples I have read here, I am clearly missing something. • Multiple delivery confirmations per message with Ruby SMPP

  I am using the ruby smpp library to send/receive SMS. Right now we are sending messages to two different servers, using the ruby-smpp library. One of them works perfectly, but the other one sends multiple DELIVRD confirmations for each messages. And by multiple I mean hundreds of confirmations per message in some cases. Does anyone know any possible reason behind this? I am thinking on something relative to the implementation of the protocol the company is using, since it works perfectly with the other one, and not on the lines of a bug in the specific smpp ruby library. We are using smpp v3.4.

  Hi this is the same question, that was asked two years ago: Java/JCE: Decrypting “long” message encrypted with RSA I had a large byte array and rsa keypair, initiated by value 1024. Using rsa encryption and the specified size of the key is strong requirement, I can't change it. So I can't use symmetric encryption with asymetric encryption symmetric key. I can't use any other keys. I had a byte array and need ciphered byte array to be returned. I wonder if there is any ready tool, that can manage with this problem? Sorry for such an amateurish question, but I really need a help.

• ASP.NET MVC - Custom validation message for value types

  When I use UpdateModel or TryUpdateModel, the MVC framework is smart enough to know if you are trying to pass in a null into a value type (e.g. the user forgets to fill out the required Birth Day field) . Unfortunately, I don't know how to override the default message, "A value is required." in the summary into something more meaningful ("Please enter in your Birth Day"). There has to be a way of doing this (without writing too much work-around code), but I can't find it. Any help? EDIT Also, I guess this would also be an issue for invalid conversions, e.g. BirthDay = "Hello".

  I'm working in a mail client project using C#. I'm using both the POP and IMAP protocol to communicate with the server. The problem is than I can not figure out why when I want to get the UID for a message the result from the POP server and the IMAP server are different. POP C: UIDL 1 S: +OK 1 UID2-1269789826 and IMAP C: $ FETCH 1 (UID) S: * 1 FETCH (UID 2) S: $ OK Fetch completed. Why the result for obtaining the UID is so different?   Database server: SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.760 - SP3 - Standard Edition I have a table with 5 columns, in which I want to add a large (300.000) number of records. There is a unique index on the combination of two columns. If I add the records with this unique index in place, SQL Server gives this error message: Msg 2601, Level 14, State 3, Line 1 Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'TESTTABLE' with unique index 'test'. The statement has been terminated. (0 row(s) affected) However, if I delete the unique index and then add the records, I do not get any error when I create this unique index afterwards.

• Safari extension - Too many injected scripts responding to message

  Hi, I am trying to code a safari extension similar to Bubble Translate for Chrome. when you click a button on the toolbar, it automatically translates the text currently selected to the language of your choice using the Google language API. I use the following injected script to get the highlighted text and display the result (as an alert for the time being): http://pastebin.com/bYVuQAmp I use the following global script to call the injected script if neccessary: hxxp://pastebin.com/VHaAKM5a The problem I have is the following: The script does not just get injected into the main page but also into ads and similar stuff that is embedded into the page. Due to that, the selected text gets translated multiple times because all the embedded scripts in one page respond to the message. • Workflow foundation 4.0 message correlation and error reporting

  I have a workflow service that runs and performs a number of different operations (such as web service calls). If one of these operations fails I call an error reporting web service to notify a seperate system that one of my workflow operations has failed. As the error could be something like the web service being down, I loop and retry this operation until it works. There can be times though when the data I'm passing to this web service is faulty and it needs changing. So I need to be able to hook into this running (but delayed) workflow and change local workflow variables and then re-run the operation. I've looked at message correlation in workflow 4.0 to achieve this but because the delay activity is active in my running workflow instance, any second service call doesn't do anything (it's like the delay activity is blocking any other requests). I've tried setting 'CanCreateInstance' to both true and false but it doesn't help. Thanks!

  I'm using WinApi. Is SendMessage/PostMessage a good, thread safe method of communicating with the main window? Suppose, the working thread is creating a bitmap, that must be displayed on the screen. The working thread allocates a bitmap, sends a message with a pointer to this bitmap and waits until GUI thread processes it (for example using SendMessage). The working thread shares no data with other threads. Am I running into troubles with such design? Are there any other possibilities that do not introduce thread synchronizing, locking etc. ?

• How to debug .net error where message is masked in Ajax call

  Hi, I'm currently working on a page which makes use of the MS Ajax UpdatePanel. However I've run into a strange problem. If I simply compile and view my page, one of the button click events results in an error. However, because the button affects items inside an UpdatePanel the actual exception is hidden from me: all I'm getting is a HTTP 500 error returned to me through the UpdatePanel Javascript. What's odd about this is that if I step through the code line by line in Visual Studio, I don't get the error. The button doesn't cause the behaviour I'm expecting, but it throws no errors. Because the step through isn't causing an error to be thrown, I'm at a loss how I can get to the actual exception message so I can find out where the error is being thrown and debug it.   My application that wraps around Oracle Data pump's executables IMPDP and EXPDP takes random amounts of time for the same work. On further investigation, I see it waiting for again random amounts of time with the event 'wait for unread message on broadcast channel'. This makes the application take anytime b/w 10 minutes to over an hour for the same work. I fail to understand if this has something to do with the way my application uses these executables, or it has got something to do with Load on my server or something totally alien to me.

• Access to selection in gmail message body with Google Apps Script

  Can app scripts access the current selection in a gmail message? I frequently compose messages that include engineering calculations and make use of the Google Calc feature do the calculation or convert to the desired units, e.g. 4000 Btu/hr * 8 hrs in kWh It would be really convenient to be able to select the above, hit a mapped key (e.g. Ctrl-K) and have the inserted after the expression 4000 Btu/hr * 8 hrs in kWh = 0.9378 kWh instead of having to paste the expression into a search box and then copy and paste the answer. I could certainly write a solution using a keymapper and a small python script to grab the current selection, send it to the gcalc api, etc ..., but my real motivation is to get familiar with Apps Scripts's capabilities and limitations. I suppose the uber-question here is "what kinds of user actions and state information can App Script access in Gmail messages (and/or Google docs) that are being edited?"

  This is based on a past exam question. The question is asking to describe the four types of message available using JMS. The problem is it says the four, not just four. So it assumes their is only four, no more no less. However according to this site their seems to be five; streams maps text objects bytes *Another book states that XML is another potential type in future versions of JMS. Is XML already available? Am I missing something or is the question just wrong? Thanks.

  Hi all, I've written some code using the REST starter kit and it works fine on my development machine. However, when I upload it to our server the page gives me the following error message... CS1684: Warning as Error: Reference to type 'System.Runtime.Serialization.Json.DataContractJsonSerializer' claims it is defined in 'c:\WINNT\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.ServiceModel.Web\3.5.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.ServiceModel.Web.dll', but it could not be found I've removed code line by line and it appears that the following line of code is triggering the error... HttpContent newOrganizationContent = HttpContentExtensions.CreateXmlSerializable(newOrganizationXml); Really haven't got a clue how to fix it. I assumed it might be because it needs a newer version of the framework to run, but looking in IIS it says it's running version 2.0.50727 which I think is the lates version because it says that even when we're using framework 3.5 Very confused, any ideas?
