  I have a website that uses AjaxControlToolkit.dll and Log4Net.dll; When I try to run the performance profiling tool in VS 2010 on it it gives me the following warnings "AjaxControlToolkit.dll is signed and instrumenting it will invalidate its signature. If you proceed without a post-instrument event to re-sign the binary it may not load correctly". Now, if I choose the option to continue without re-signing the profiling starts but the assembly doesn't load and gives an ASP.NET exception.

  After installing a bunch of extensions to try out I restarted VS 2010 and it started crashing. Unfortunately, it consistently crashes when opening Tools | Extension Manager. Any ideas how to fix and avoid a complete uninstall/reinstall? • VS 2010 migration issue – XSD.EXE can’t process Framework 4.0 assemblies

  In VS 2008 / SDK 6.0 I used the /t option of the XSD utility to automatically generate XSD files from existing assemblies / classes. With VS 2010 and SDK 7.0 this isn’t working any longer, because the XSD.EXE can’t process the new Framework 4.0 assemblies. It stated to be a Framework 2.0 tool and can’t process assemblies of newer runtimes. Where is my mistake?

  Has anyone found/made any decent color themes for Visual Studio 2010? My VS 2005/2008 themes seem to be getting mangled in the upgrade process.   Coming from Eclipse, I'm disappointed with the very limited syntax coloring capabilities offered for C# by Visual Studio (all versions, up to 2010). In particular, I'm interesting in distinct coloring for methods / fields / locals / static stuff. I'm aware Visual Assist can enhance the coloring, but I've failed to find any free alternative capable of doing that, so I'm turning to SO (I hope it's programming-related enough). Is there any free (or at least cheaper than Visual Assist) solution capable of enhancing the syntax coloring for C#?

  In 2008 Artur Carvalho asked for an Alternative IDE for Silverlight and was told to look at Visual Studio Express. Is that still the valid answer in 2010 or are there other IDEs one should consider (cost/ OS it runs on / stability)? I'm trying to get a feel for silverlight development before commiting cash.
