  I work on another guy's code, and I try to change the table cell background color when mouse over the cell, and change back to the original background color when mouse leave. That's the cell color never change for mouse first enter, after that, everything is working great. What's could be the cause of this problem?

My question is, it the above generally considered good, bad, or indifferent, and why?

In each slide, the corresponding anchor or div must have an "active" class, in order to achieve a different link appearance. So basically, in my ~/.emacs file, I have this: (load "/some/directory/init.el") Up until now, that's been working just fine. However, now I want to redefine an old command that I've used for ages, which opens my init file: (defun conf () "Open a buffer with the user init file." (interactive) (find-file user-init-file)) As you can see, this will open ~/.emacs no matter what I do. I want it to open /some/directory/init.el, or wherever the conf command itself is defined. How would I do that?

• Odd problem with IE8 and z-index CSS property

  I not been able to put one DIV over his parent DIV in Internet Explorer. With Firefox is working as suposed to. The odd part is that if I open the html file directly in IE, everything works fine. But if I upload to the server and open from there, the div is hidden underneath his parent. I've tried several z-index combinations and none works.   I have a problem which I could solve using something like this sortedElements.ForEach((XElement el) => PrintXElementName(el,i++)); And this means that I have in ForEach a lambda which permits using parameters like int i. I like that way of doing it, but i read somewhere that anonymous methods and delegates with lambda leads to a lot of memory leaks because each time when lambda is executed something is instantiated but is not released. Something like that. Could you please tell me if this is true in this situation and if it is why?

Both services reside on the same box. Using WCF Storm, when I send Service B a message, I see lots of entries in the event viewer for it. However, if I send a message to Service A, which calls Service B, I only see entries from Service A. So for some reason, the child logs are not written when the parent calls it, but if I call it myself, the logs do indeed show up, so I know it's not a problem with the logging or anything like that. Here is what I am using to write to the event log. // in some random static class private static EventLog el = new EventLog(); el.WriteEntry("In " + location + ", " + message); // params passed in Does anyone know why this is happening? And more importantly what I can do about it?

• User Controls Importing Problem (asp.net)(vb)

  I have this class that contains vars for db connection; Public Shared s As String Public Shared con As String = WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("foo").ToString() Public Shared c As New SqlConnection(con) Public Shared x As New SqlCommand(s, c) I import this to my page like this; Imports DBVars I'm then able to access these vars from my page. But if I try to import them into a user control the variables are not available. Am I making an error or is this expected? Thanks.
