  • WPF DataGrid window resize does not resize DataGridColumns

    - by skylap
I have a WPF DataGrid (from the WPFToolkit package) like the following in my application. <Controls:DataGrid> <Controls:DataGrid.Columns> <Controls:DataGridTextColumn Width="1*" Binding="{Binding Path=Column1}" Header="Column 1" /> <Controls:DataGridTextColumn Width="1*" Binding="{Binding Path=Column2}" Header="Column 2" /> <Controls:DataGridTextColumn Width="1*" Binding="{Binding Path=Column3}" Header="Column 3" /> </Controls:DataGrid.Columns> </Controls:DataGrid> The column width should be automatically adjusted such that all three columns fill the width of the grid, so I set Width="1*" on every column. I encountered two problems with this approach. When the ItemsSource of the DataGrid is null or an empty List, the columns won't size to fit the width of the grid but have a fixed width of about 20 pixel. Please see the following picture: http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/3139/initialcolumnwidth.png When I maximize the application window, the columns won't adapt their size but keep their initial size. See the following picture: http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/9362/columnwidthaftermaximiz.png When I resize the application window with the mouse, the columns won't resize. I was able to solve problem #3 by deriving a sub class from DataGrid and override the DataGrid's OnRenderSizeChanged method as follows. protected override void OnRenderSizeChanged(SizeChangedInfo sizeInfo) { base.OnRenderSizeChanged(sizeInfo); foreach (var column in Columns) { var tmp = column.GetValue(DataGridColumn.WidthProperty); column.ClearValue(DataGridColumn.WidthProperty); column.SetValue(DataGridColumn.WidthProperty, tmp); } } Unfortunately this does not solve problems #1 and #2. How can I get rid of them?

  • How to programmatically set the ContextKey of an AutoComplete Extender placed in a gridviews footer

    - by rism
As per the thread title I want to programmatically set the ContextKey of an AutoComplete Extender placed in a gridviews footer row. Background is I have a data model that has Territory and Journey Plans for those territories. Customers need to be added to the journey plans but only those customers that belong to the Territory that owns the Journey Plan. In the footer row of my grid I have added a textbox which allows a user to enter account code of customer. Attached to this textbox is an autocomplete extender. I need to do a select against the db for customers with account code like prefix where customer in territory. But there is no way to provide territory id. I thought I could just: <asp:TemplateField HeaderStyle-Width="100" HeaderStyle-HorizontalAlign="Left" HeaderText="LKey" ItemStyle-HorizontalAlign="Left" ItemStyle-Width="100"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Label ID="lblLKey" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("LKey") %>' /> </ItemTemplate> <FooterTemplate> <asp:TextBox ID="txtLKey" CssClass="sitepagetext" runat="server" MaxLength="15" Width="60" /> <cc1:AutoCompleteExtender ID="Autocompleteextender1" MinimumPrefixLength="4" CompletionInterval="1000" CompletionSetCount="10" ServiceMethod="GetCompletionList" ContextKey="<% this.Controller.TerritoryId %>" TargetControlID="txtLKey" runat="server"> </cc1:AutoCompleteExtender> </FooterTemplate> </asp:TemplateField> for the relevant field in the grid but when the page is run I get the following markup for the autoextender: Sys.Application.add_init(function() { $create(AjaxControlToolkit.AutoCompleteBehavior, {"contextKey":"\u003c% this.Controller.TerritoryId %\u003e","delimiterCharacters":"","id":"ctl00_ctl00_mainContentHolder_serviceContentHolder_qlgvJourneyPlanCustomers_ctl03_Autocompleteextender1","minimumPrefixLength":4,"serviceMethod":"GetCompletionList","servicePath":"/Views/CRM/JourneyPlans/CustomersEditor.aspx","useContextKey":true}, null, null, $get("ctl00_ctl00_mainContentHolder_serviceContentHolder_qlgvJourneyPlanCustomers_ctl03_txtLKey")); }); //]]> </script> ContextKey value doesnt get evaluated. It just uses the literal text. Any thoughts?

  • Map external directory to web.xml

    - by prometheus
Is there an easy way to map a directory in the web.xml or other deployment descriptor (jetty.xml, etc) files? For example, if I have a directory /opt/files/ is there a way that I can access its files and sub-directories by visiting http://localhost/some-mapping/? It strikes me that there should be some simple way of doing this, but I haven't been able to find out how (via google, stackoverflow, etc). All I've found are servlets that mimic fileservers, which is not what I would like. For reference I am using jetty on an AIX box.

  • Is there any way to get an ExtJS GridPanel to automatically resize its width, but still be contained

    - by Micah
I want to include an ExtJS GridPanel inside a larger layout, which in turn must be rendered inside a particular div in some pre-existing HTML that I don't control. From my experiments, it appears that the GridPanel only resizes itself correctly if it's within a Viewport. For instance, with this code the GridPanel automatically resizes: new Ext.Viewport( { layout: 'anchor', items: [ { xtype: 'panel', title: 'foo', layout: 'fit', items: [ { xtype: 'grid', // define the grid here... but if I replace the first three lines with the lines below, it doesn't: new Ext.Panel( { layout: 'anchor', renderTo: 'RenderUntoThisDiv', The trouble is, Viewport always renders directly to the body of the HTML document, and I need to render within a particular div. If there is a way to get the GridPanel to resize itself correctly, despite not being contained in a ViewPort, that would be ideal. If not, if I could get the Viewport to render the elements within the div, I'd be fine with that. All of my ExtJS objects can be contained within the same div. Does anybody know of a way to get a GridPanel to resize itself correctly, but still be contained inside some non-ExtJS-generated HTML?

  • jqGrid local data manipulation; problem with row ids when deleting and adding new rows

    - by Sam
I'm using jqGrid as a client side grid input, allowing the user to input multiple records before POSTing all the data back at once. I'm having a problem where if the user has added a few records (say 3 ) the id's for the records will be 1,2,3. if the user deletes record 2, you're left with 1 and 3 for the id of the records. When the user now adds a new records, jqGrid assigns that records the id 3 again since it just seems to count the total records and increments it by one for the new record. This causes problems when selecting rows as now the row id's are 1, 3 and 3. Does anyone know how to access the row ids of records as I could probably use the afterSubmit event and reassign the row id's increasing from 1. ( so after i delete row id 2, this will set the other row id's to 1 and 2) Any other suggestions to solve this problem? Thanks edit I've solved this with the following code for the delete navGrid button }).navGrid('#pager', {add:true, del:true, refresh:false, search:false}, { ... }, ##edit parameters { ... }, ##add parameters {reloadAfterSubmit:false, clearAfterAdd:false, afterComplete: function () { ## clear and readd the row data so the row ids are sequential var savedData= $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('getRowData'); $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('clearGridData'); $("#inputgrid").jqGrid('addRowData', 'rn', savedData); } } ##delete parameters ); Basically just saving the grid data and then re-adding it so that the rowids are sequential again. For some reason it causes the row numbers down the left side to go start from 2 instead of one. Edit this was solved by using the latest jqGrid code in GitHub (27th April 2010)

  • WPF zoom canvas and maintain scroll position

    - by Alex McBride
I have a Canvas element, contained within a ScrollViewer, which I'm zooming using ScaleTransform. However, I want to be able to keep the scroll position of the viewer focused on the same part of the canvas after the zoom operation has finished. Currently when I zoom the canvas the scroll position of the viewer stays where it was and the place the user was viewing is lost. I'm still learning WPF, and I've been going backwards and forwards a bit on this, but I can't figure out a nice XAML based way to accomplish what I want. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated and would aid me in my learning process. Here is the kind of code I'm using... <Grid> <ScrollViewer Name="TrackScrollViewer" HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto"> <Canvas Width="2560" Height="2560" Name="TrackCanvas"> <Canvas.LayoutTransform> <ScaleTransform ScaleX="{Binding ElementName=ZoomSlider, Path=Value}" ScaleY="{Binding ElementName=ZoomSlider, Path=Value}"/> </Canvas.LayoutTransform> <!-- Some complex geometry describing a motor racing circuit --> </Canvas> </ScrollViewer> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" Margin="8" VerticalAlignment="Top" HorizontalAlignment="Left"> <Slider Name="ZoomSlider" Width="80" Minimum="0.1" Maximum="10" Value="1"/> <TextBlock Margin="4,0,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Center" Text="{Binding ElementName=ZoomSlider, Path=Value, StringFormat=F1}"/> </StackPanel> </Grid>

  • Silverlight 3.0 Custom ListBox DataTemplate has a checkbox, checked event not firing

  • What is the standard convention for defining nested view:viewmodel mapping in MVVM Light

    - by firoso
so in classic MVVM examples ive seen DataTemplate definitions are used to map up View Models to Views, what is the standard way to do this in MVVM Light framework, and where should the mappings be located? Following are examples of what I'm doing now and what I'm talking about, blendability is important to me! Main Window: <Window xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" mc:Ignorable="d" x:Class="STS2Editor.MainWindow" Title="{Binding ApplicationTitle, Mode=OneWay}" DataContext="{Binding RootViewModel, Source={StaticResource Locator}}"> <Window.Resources> <ResourceDictionary> <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> <ResourceDictionary Source="Skins/ApplicationSkin.xaml" /> <ResourceDictionary Source="Resources/ViewMappings.xaml" /> </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> </ResourceDictionary> </Window.Resources> <Grid> <ContentControl Content="{Binding ApplicationManagementViewModel}" HorizontalAlignment="Left" VerticalAlignment="Top"/> </Grid> </Window> In the above code, my RootViewModel class has an instance of the class ApplicationManagementViewModel with the same property name: public ApplicationManagementViewModel ApplicationManagementViewModel {get {...} set {...} } I reference the ResourceDictionary "ViewMappings.xaml" to specify how my view model is represented as a view. <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:STS2Editor.ViewModel"> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type local:ApplicationManagementViewModel}"> <local:ApplicationManagementView/> </DataTemplate> </ResourceDictionary> should I be doing things like this using ViewModelLocator? what about collections of view models?

  • Entity Framework 4.0 Databinding with sorting not working

    - by Mike Gates
I want to do something that I thought would be very simple. I want to bind a generated Entity Framework EntityCollection to a WPF DataGrid. I also want this grid to be sortable. I have tried all kinds of things to make this happen, including using a CollectionViewSource. However, nothing seems to work. Using a normal CollectionViewSource around the EntityCollection gives me: 'System.Windows.Data.BindingListCollectionView' view does not support sorting. Ok...strange. I would have thought this would work. Next on the CollectionViewSource, I try setting: CollectionViewType="ListCollectionView" Great, sorting now works. But wait, I can't add or remove entities using the grid now, presumably because ListCollectionView doesn't support this with an entity framework context. So, I guess I need to capture events coming out of the datagrid in order to add or remove entities manually from my context. Now I can't find an event to capture to detect an add...! Why is this so hard? This should be the standard "demo" case that Microsoft should have designed around. Any ideas?

  • Need Sharepoint like modal pop-up window

    - by Srikanth
I need to show Sharepoint 2010 like pop-up window when clicked on a link in grid view. Once the modal pop-up displayed and user selected the Save button data base should be updated with given values in pop-up. How can I get this. Any Idea. As of now I am using below code to get it but no idea how to pass the values to Database once clicked on the button in pop-up Note: As of now I am not adding the gridview code here as I wanted to achieve it first with sample html then wanted to do with grid view. Java Script function openDialog() { var options = { html: divModalDialogContent, // ID of the HTML tag // or HTML content to be displayed in modal dialog width: 600, height: 300, title: "My First Modal Dialog", dialogReturnValueCallback: dialogCallbackMethod, // custom callback function allowMaximize: true, showClose: true }; SP.UI.ModalDialog.showModalDialog(options); } //Results displayed if 'OK' or 'Cancel' button is clicked if the html content has 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons function onDialogClose(dialogResult, returnValue) { if (dialogResult == SP.UI.DialogResult.OK) { alert('Ok!'); } if (dialogResult == SP.UI.DialogResult.cancel) { alert('Cancel'); } } // Custom callback function after the dialog is closed function dialogCallbackMethod() { alert('Callback method of modal dialog!'); } HTML <div id="divModalDialogContent"> Hello World! <input type="button" value="OK"onclick="SP.UI.ModalDialog.commonModalDialogClose(SP.UI.DialogResult.OK, 'Ok clicked'); return false;" class="ms-ButtonHeightWidth" /> <input type="button" value="Cancel"onclick="SP.UI.ModalDialog.commonModalDialogClose(SP.UI.DialogResult.cancel, 'Cancel clicked'); return false;" class="ms-ButtonHeightWidth" /> <asp:Button runat="server" ID="btnClicked" Text="Clicked" onclick="btnClicked_Click" /> <input type="button" value="Open" onclick="openDialog()" /> How can I call db upon clicking 'clicked' button in pop-up. Also I need to send parameters to pop-up Thanks in advance

  • Scrolling issues with GridView in Android

    - by Jared Thigpen
I am having weird scrolling issues in my pretty simple GridView. Each item in the Grid is simply and ImageView and a TextView. The activity itself is simply an application selector. It looks like a rough version of the basic App Tray in Android. The issue is that after spending some times scrolling through my view, it will inevitably allow me to continue scrolling past the top row of icons, to a blank screen, and the scroll bar will disappear, leaving me stuck. It doesn't happen every time I go to the top of the view, only sometimes, and usually only after some excessive scrolling. If I happen to notice the problem and catch it before the top row disappears off the bottom of the screen, I can usually scroll back through the view and spot some icons missing. There are empty spaces in the grid, and I can only assume that those icons have been moved to some bizarre position, which is allowing the view to scroll past the top. This is my first Android app beyond a basic Hello World, so it's likely that I've just screwed up something in my layout files. I also realize that this is probably a pretty confusing description, so I'm hoping someone has experienced this and my search abilities simply were unable to find it. I can post my layout files or other code if someone thinks that's useful. Oh, and the program is built against 1.5, but is running on 2.2 (whatever state of 2.2 that was that snuck out last week) on my phone. I don't have enough apps to test this on an emulator, but could probably set something up if someone felt it necessary. Thanks in advance for any help on the issue.

  • R ggplot2: Arrange facet_grid by non-facet column (and labels using non-facet column)

    - by tommy-o-dell
    I have a couple of questions regarding facetting in ggplot2... Let's say I have a query that returns data that looks like this: (note that it's ordered by Rank asc, Alarm asc and two Alarms have a Rank of 3 because their Totals = 1798 for Week 4, and Rank is set according to Total for Week 4) Rank Week Alarm Total 1 1 BELTWEIGHER HIGH HIGH 1000 1 2 BELTWEIGHER HIGH HIGH 1050 1 3 BELTWEIGHER HIGH HIGH 900 1 4 BELTWEIGHER HIGH HIGH 1800 2 1 MICROWAVE LHS 200 2 2 MICROWAVE LHS 1200 2 3 MICROWAVE LHS 400 2 4 MICROWAVE LHS 1799 3 1 HI PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1250 3 2 HI PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1640 3 3 HI PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1000 3 4 HI PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1798 3 1 LOW PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 800 3 2 LOW PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1200 3 3 LOW PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 800 3 4 LOW PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW 1798 (duplication code below) Rank = c(rep(1,4),rep(2,4),rep(3,8)) Week = c(rep(1:4,4)) Total = c( 1000,1050,900,1800, 200,1200,400,1799, 1250,1640,1000,1798, 800,1200,800,1798) Alarm = c(rep("BELTWEIGHER HIGH HIGH",4), rep("MICROWAVE LHS",4), rep("HI PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW",4), rep("LOW PRESS FILTER 2 CLOG SW",4)) spark <- data.frame(Rank, Week, Alarm, Total) Now when I do this... s <- ggplot(spark, aes(Week, Total)) + opts( panel.background = theme_rect(size = 1, colour = "lightgray"), panel.grid.major = theme_blank(), panel.grid.minor = theme_blank(), axis.line = theme_blank(), axis.text.x = theme_blank(), axis.text.y = theme_blank(), axis.title.x = theme_blank(), axis.title.y = theme_blank(), axis.ticks = theme_blank(), strip.background = theme_blank(), strip.text.y = theme_text(size = 7, colour = "red", angle = 0) ) s + facet_grid(Alarm ~ .) + geom_line() I get this.... Notice that it's facetted according to Alarm and that the facets are arranged alphabetically. Two Questions: How can I can I keep it facetted by alarm but displayed in the correct order? (Rank asc, Alarm asc). Also, how can I keep it facetted by alarm but show labels from Rank instead of Alarm? Note that I can't just facet on Rank because ggplot2 would see only 3 facets to plot where there are really 4 different alarms. Thanks kindly for the help! Tommy

  • Silverlight ComboBox Attached Behavior

I am trying to create an attached behavior that can be applied to a Silverlight ComboBox. My behavior is this: using System.Windows.Controls; using System.Windows; using System.Windows.Controls.Primitives; namespace AttachedBehaviours { public class ConfirmChangeBehaviour { public static bool GetConfirmChange(Selector cmb) { return (bool)cmb.GetValue(ConfirmChangeProperty); } public static void SetConfirmChange(Selector cmb, bool value) { cmb.SetValue(ConfirmChangeProperty, value); } public static readonly DependencyProperty ConfirmChangeProperty = DependencyProperty.RegisterAttached("ConfirmChange", typeof(bool), typeof(Selector), new PropertyMetadata(true, ConfirmChangeChanged)); public static void ConfirmChangeChanged(DependencyObject d, DependencyPropertyChangedEventArgs args) { Selector instance = d as Selector; if (args.NewValue is bool == false) return; if ((bool)args.NewValue) instance.SelectionChanged += OnSelectorSelectionChanged; else instance.SelectionChanged -= OnSelectorSelectionChanged; } static void OnSelectorSelectionChanged(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { Selector item = e.OriginalSource as Selector; MessageBox.Show("Unsaved changes. [Line: 13 Position: 65] Intellisense is picking up the behavior, why is this failing at runtime? Thanks, Mark EDIT: Register() changed to RegisterAttached(). Same error appears.

  • Looking for a good world map generation algorithm

    - by FalconNL
I'm working on a Civilization-like game and I'm looking for a good algorithm for generating Earth-like world maps. I've experimented with a few alternatives, but haven't hit on a real winner yet. One option is to generate a heightmap using perlin noise and add water at a level so that about 30% of the world is land. While perlin noise (or similar fractal-based techniques) are frequently used for terrain and is reasonably realistic, it doesn't offer much in the way of control over the number, size and position of the resulting continents, which I'd like to have from a gameplay perspective. See http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2792/4462870263_ff26c40365_o.jpg for an example (sorry, can't post pictures yet). A second option is to start with a randomly positioned one-tile seed (I'm working on a grid of tiles), determine the desired size for the continent and each turn add a tile that is horizontally or vertically adjacent to the existing continent until you've reached the desired size. Repeat for the other continents. This technique is part of the algorithm used in Civilization 4. The problem is that after placing the first few continents, it's possible to pick a starting location that's surrounded by other continents, and thus won't fit the new one. Also, it has a tendency to spawn continents too close together, resulting in something that looks more like a river than continents. See http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4069/4462870383_46e86b155c_o.jpg for an example. Does anyone happen to know a good algorithm for generating realistic continents on a grid-based map while keeping control over their number and relative sizes?

  • MVVM Binding Selected RadOutlookBarItem

    - by Christian
Imagine: [RadOutlookBarItem1] [RadOutlookBarItem2] [RadOutlookBar] [CONTENCONTROL] What i want to achieve is: User selects one of the RadOutlookBarItem's. Item's tag is bound like: Tag="{Binding SelectedControl, Mode=TwoWay}" MVVM Property public string SelectedControl { get { return _showControl; } set { _showControl = value; OnNotifyPropertyChanged("ShowControl"); } } ContentControl has multiple CustomControls and Visibility of those is bound like: <UserControl.Resources> <Converters:BoolVisibilityConverter x:Key="BoolViz"/> </UserControl.Resources> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <Views:ViewDocumentSearchControl Visibility="{Binding SelectedControl, Converter={StaticResource BoolViz}, ConverterParameter='viewDocumentSearchControl'}"/> <Views:ViewStartControl Visibility="{Binding SelectedControl, Converter={StaticResource BoolViz}, ConverterParameter='viewStartControl'}"/> </Grid> Converter: public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, CultureInfo culture) { // here comes the logic part... should return Visibility.Collapsed : Visibility.Visible based on 'object value' value System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break(); return Visibility.Collapsed; } now, logically the object value is always set to null. So here's it comes to my question: How can i put a value into the SelectedControl Variable for the RadOutlookBarItem's Tag. I mean something like Tag="{Binding SelectedControl, Mode=TwoWay, VALUE='i.e.ControlName'"} So that i can decide, using the Convert Method, whether a specific Control's visibility is either set to collapsed or visible? help's appreciated Christian

Ideally, I want the usercontrol to delay for x seconds when there is a mouseover, before expanding and showing the extra details.

Hi, I want to filter a collectionviewsource using a filter I've written, but I'm not sure how I can apply the filter to it? Here is my collection view source: <Grid.Resources> <CollectionViewSource x:Key="myCollectionView" Source="{Binding Path=Query4, Source={x:Static Application.Current}}"> <CollectionViewSource.SortDescriptions> <scm:SortDescription PropertyName="ContactID" Direction="Descending"/> </CollectionViewSource.SortDescriptions> </CollectionViewSource> </Grid.Resources> I have implemented a filter as such: Private Sub WorkerFilter(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As FilterEventArgs) Dim value As Object = CType(e.Item, System.Data.DataRow)("StaffSection") If (Not value Is Nothing) And (Not value Is DBNull.Value) Then If (value = "Builder") Or (value = "Office Staff") Then e.Accepted = True Else e.Accepted = False End If End If End Sub So how can I get the CollectionViewSource filtered by the filter on load? Could you please give all hte code I need (only a few lines I figure) as I'm quite new to coding. Thanks guys EDIT: For the record, <CollectionViewSource x:Key="myCollectionView" Filter="WorkerFilter" ... /> gives me the error: Failed object initialization (ISupportInitialize.EndInit). 'System.Windows.Data.BindingListCollectionView' view does not support filtering. Error at object 'myCollectionView'

    I want to style my ListBox and displaying some Border around it, i want to hide this Border when ListBox gets focus, <Trigger Property="IsFocused" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Visibility" TargetName="border" Value="Collapsed"/> </Trigger> Same thing i m using in TextBox also and it is working properly, why this Trigger not working for ListBox? Edit: i am having this Style for my ListBox <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type local:ListBox}"> <Border SnapsToDevicePixels="true" x:Name="Bd" CornerRadius="5" Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}" Padding="1"> <Grid> <local:ScrollViewer Focusable="false" Padding="{TemplateBinding Padding}"> <ItemsPresenter SnapsToDevicePixels="{TemplateBinding SnapsToDevicePixels}"/> </local:ScrollViewer> <Border CornerRadius="5" Background="Red" x:Name="border"> <TextBlock VerticalAlignment="Center" FontWeight="Bold" Foreground="White" Text="{TemplateBinding Message}" FontFamily="Courier New" /> </Border> </Grid> </Border> </DockPanel> <ControlTemplate.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsFocused" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Visibility" TargetName="border" Value="Collapsed"/> </Trigger> <Trigger Property="IsEnabled" Value="false"> <Setter Property="Background" TargetName="Bd" Value="{DynamicResource {x:Static SystemColors.ControlBrushKey}}"/> </Trigger> <Trigger Property="IsGrouping" Value="true"> <Setter Property="ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll" Value="false"/> </Trigger> </ControlTemplate.Triggers>

  • How to remove space between chart area and plot area?

    - by Gopalakrishnan Subramani
    I am using chartingToolKit:Chart control. I want to remove the white space appear in between the chart and plot area. Attached the WPF sample and image of area to be removed. <Window x:Class="WpfApplication2.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525" xmlns:chartingToolkit="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.Charting;assembly=System.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.Toolkit"> <Grid> <chartingToolkit:Chart x:Name="chart" Width="500" Height="300" Margin="0, 0, 0, 0" LegendStyle="{StaticResource LegendStyle}" > <chartingToolkit:AreaSeries ItemsSource="{Binding}" DependentValuePath="Value" IndependentValuePath="Key" Background="Red" > </chartingToolkit:AreaSeries> <chartingToolkit:Chart.Axes> <chartingToolkit:LinearAxis Orientation="X" ShowGridLines="False" Visibility="Hidden"> </chartingToolkit:LinearAxis> <chartingToolkit:LinearAxis Orientation="Y" ShowGridLines="False" Visibility="Hidden"/> </chartingToolkit:Chart.Axes> </chartingToolkit:Chart> </Grid> The area marked in red arrow must be removed

  • Gridview buttonfield works LinkButton doesn't

    - by Karsten
I've been fighting this problem for many hours now and could really use some help :-) This is the grid <asp:GridView ID="annonceView" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False" DataKeyNames="Id" DataSourceID="dataSourceAnnoncer"> <Columns> <asp:BoundField DataField="Productname" HeaderText="Productname" /> <asp:buttonfield buttontype="Link" commandname="Delete" text="Delete"/> <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Administration"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:LinkButton ID="lnkBtnDelete" runat="server" Text="Delete" CausesValidation="False" CommandName="Delete" OnClientClick="return confirm('Delete?')" /> </ItemTemplate> </asp:TemplateField> </Columns> </asp:GridView> <asp:LinqDataSource ID="dataSourceAnnoncer" runat="server" ContextTypeName="Namespcae.TheContext" EnableDelete="True" TableName="Annoncer"> </asp:LinqDataSource> Clicking the buttonfield deletes the record just fine. Clicking the LinkButton doesn't work. I get a postback and the grid is shown as empty and no record is deleted. Seems like an empty databinding. I have tried to create a custom OnClick, OnCommand event for the LinkButton, but neither are fired. The OnRowCommand isn't fired either. I don't manually DataBind in the codebehind.

  • Automatic linebreak in WPF label

    - by Vlad
Dear all, is it possible for a WPF Label to split itself automatically into several lines? In my following example, the text is cropped at the right. <Window x:Class="..." xmlns="..." xmlns:x="..." Height="300" Width="300"> <Grid> <Label> `_Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe: all mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe.</Label> </Grid> </Window> Am I doing something wrong? Taking other controls is unfortunately not a good option, since I need support of access keys. Replacing the Label with a TextBlock (having TextWrapping="Wrap"), and adjusting its control template to recognize access keys would be perhaps a solution, but isn't it an overkill? Edit: having a non-standard style for label will break skinning, so I would like to avoid it if possible.

  • Crosstab/Cube/Pivot Components for Delphi

    - by Anagoge
I'm looking for a Delphi VCL crosstab/cube/pivotcube/olap grid component for Delphi 2009, 2010, or XE. I'm willing to sacrifice advanced features to get something open/free (or very cheap if I must) to make it easier to collaborate with any future developers without anyone having to purchase more components than I already use, since this will just be used in one screen. If there isn't anything appropriate out there, I may try to implement something simple on my own. I can live with some fairly basic features: drag and drop to configure dimensions, sort by a column, allow totals/min/max for a column, and (optionally) expand/collapse or drill down to sub-categories. Blazing performance and enterprise scalability are not required, since there should be less than 2000 source rows. There appear to be several decent options in the commercial space (ExpressPivotCube, FastCube, HierCube), but they are all a few hundred dollars. This project already uses existing installations of Excel 2007 and SQL Server 2005/2008, so I might consider leveraging those, though I'd prefer a native Delphi component, if possible. There are also the very old Decision Cube components included in Delphi's Source\xtab directory, but they apparently no longer support unicode compilers (Delphi 2009+), since I got dozens of unicode-related compilation errors while test compiling that source in Delphi XE. Those components also still link to the long-deprecated BDE! Has anyone modified Decision Cube to support unicode/pure-TDataSet? The online tutorials I found were incomplete and silent on the dozens of BDE/unicode compilation errors I see, so I might have to tackle that on my own. Does anyone have suggestions where to start for a free/cheap basic crosstab/pivot grid component?

  • WPF designer gives exception when databinding a label to a checkbox

    - by John
I'm sure it's something stupid, but I'm playing around with databinding. I have a checkbox and a label on a form. What I'm trying to do is simply bind the Content of the label to the checkbox's IsChecked value. What I've done runs fine (no compilation errors and acts as expected), but if I touch the label in the XAML, the designer trows an exception: System.NullReferenceException Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at MS.Internal.Designer.PropertyEditing.Editors.MarkupExtensionInlineEditorControl.BuildBindingString(Boolean modeSupported, PropertyEntry propertyEntry) at <Window x:Class="UnitTestHelper.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:FileSysCtls="clr-namespace:WPFFileSystemUserControls;assembly=WPFFileSystemUserControls" xmlns:HelperClasses="clr-namespace:UnitTestHelper" Title="MainWindow" Height="406" Width="531"> <Window.Resources> <HelperClasses:ThreestateToBinary x:Key="CheckConverter" /> </Window.Resources> <Grid Height="367" Width="509"> <CheckBox Content="Step into subfolders" Height="16" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="17,254,0,0" Name="chkSubfolders" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="130" IsThreeState="False" /> <Label Height="28" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="376,254,0,0" Name="lblStepResult" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="120" IsEnabled="True" Content="{Binding IsChecked, ElementName=chkSubfolders, Mode=OneWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged, Converter={StaticResource CheckConverter}}" /> </Grid> The ThreeStateToBinary class is as follows: class ThreestateToBinary : IValueConverter { #region IValueConverter Members public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { if ((bool)value) return "Checked"; else return "Not checked"; //throw new NotImplementedException(); } public object ConvertBack(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { return ((string)value == "Checked"); //throw new NotImplementedException(); } #endregion } Quite honestly, I'm playing around with it at this point. It was originally simpler (not using the ValueConverter) but was displaying similar behavior when I simply had the content set to: Content="{Binding IsChecked, ElementName=chkSubfolders, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}" Any ideas? Thanks, John
