  The only devices on this particular LAN will all have public IP addresses. Also the public IP address will be configured directly on the machine,,, so we will not translate private/public IP addresses. If we use NAT,, we would have to translate the public IP on the WAN to the public IP on the LAN. The only security feature I expect on the gateway is an access list. I don't really know much about networking, so I am sorry if this question is generic.

• IPv6 works only after ping to routing box

  Situation: There is ipv4 only router in network and every computer is connected to it (wifi or cable). Server with ipv4 and ipv6 is connected to this router as well. Server has configured tunnelbrokers 6to4 tunnel and radvd. Clients in network has right prefix and can ping each other. But they can't ping to internet until they ping Server (the one with tunnel). I found somewhere that it's icmp problem, but I couldn't find solution. • android Emulator always stop at "waiting for Home..."

  hi,there, I freshed install Eclipse, jdk, android sdk 1.5 in winxp. but when I run the "hello world" app, the emulator always stop at "andorid" loading message. In eclipse console, it shows "waiting for HOME..." and in DDMS LogCat, it shows following msg: there are some error and warning. So, what's wrong with my case?   hi there is there a way to translate an expression to sql to use with linq to sql? for example I have a method that compares two values example: MyComparer.Compare(value1, value2, ">") return value1 > value2 MyComparer.Compare(value1, value2, "=") return value1 == value2 MyComparer.Compare(value1, value2, "<=") return value1 <= value2 and i would like a query like var list = from i in dataContext.items where MyComparer.Compare(i.value, someValue, "some operator") select ... this won't work because, obviously, MyComparer doesn't translate to sql maybe this is a twisted question, but how can i translate this method to sql or is this possible? tks

• Translating external api results in Drupal

  We're building a multi-language Drupal stack and one of the concerns we have is that our payment processor is going to have to send back some information to us. We've been able to narrow this down so that the strings they're sending back look like <country code>-<number of months> so we can easily translate that into any number of languages, except English. t('FR-12') is all well and good if we want to translate that into a french description, but because there's not an English language a similar string like t('EN-12') is not translatable. Similarly for the generic string: #API_Connection_Error This sort of generic string approach seemed really compelling to me at first but it seems to not work in Drupal. Do you have any suggestions about how to translate generic strings like this into both English and other languages? Thank you, I've been looking through Google all morning.

  I always use Google translate and paste back the the results in Vim. But for some reason Google translate also screws up the HTML tags around the content I want to translate. Is there a solution for this? For instance, the double quotes are translated to Chinese-cased double quotes: 'pictures_h2'=>“?????????? Strong and li tags are translated too (well I kinda expected that). P S : IS there any translator which respect HTML tags? or translation plugin for Vim?
