System is naming the file by default, but its diferent than names of pictures taken by orginal app(Time stamp). Is there easy way to set it up?

  I've created a Wcf Service to back a Ajax page (.Net 3.5). It's hosted in IIS 6.1 Integrated Pipeline. (The rest of Autofac is setup correctly for Web Forms integration). Everything works fine and dandy with the normal Wcf pipeline. I have search all over the web and tried every possible suggestion to this error I could find. 1. delete app_code, build, add files back, publish. • DataForm commit button is not enabled when data changed.

  This is a weird problem. I am using a dataform, and when I edit the data the save button is enabled, but the cancel button is not. After looking around a bit I have found that I have to implement the IEditableObject in order to cancel an edit. Great I did that (and it all works), but now the commit button (Save) is grayed out, lol. Anyone have any idea's why the commit button will not activate any more?   I am attempting to create a strongly typed view with a "MVC View User Control" that is being rendered using Html.RenderPartial(). The top of my ascx file looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>" %> There is nothing else on this page, currently. When I execute the app and load the page that renders this control, I get the following error: Could not load type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>'. So, then I simplified it: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<String>" %> And then, just in case it needed to be fully qualified: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.String>" %> Everytime I get the same error (substituting type). what am I doing wrong here? I'm on .NET 3.5 with ASP.NET MVC 1.0 RTM.

I want to use L2E since it s very convenient to my company's apps, I created a demo project, the demo does run on every machine but when I, lets say, press a button that has some code that uses the entity I get this error: specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid. note that I get this error only on machines that does not have VS2008 installed, on these machines (the ones with VS2008) the demo works well. any advice is appreciated. String: $QData{"OrigFrom"} $Text{"wrote"}: Note: That is the actual STRING. Those are NOT variables. I didn't write it. I need to replace that string with nothing. I made Resources.resx, Resources.en-US.resx and Resources.ja-JP.resx file. I also deleted the Resources.designer.cs file autogenerated by visual studio 2008. I am loading Resources through my custom ResourceManager object [using GetString method]. The problem that I am facing is that when I compile the library within visual studio and set the culture from the calling application, everything is working fine. But if I manually go to the directory and change a string for a culture and regenerate the satellite assembly with resgen and al.exe, the string displayed, falls back to the invariant culture.   I have text files formatted as such: R156484COMP_004A7001_20100104_065119.txt I need to consistently extract the R****COMP, the 004A7001 number, 20100104 (date), and don't care about the 065119 number. the problem is that not ALL of the files being parsed have the exact naming convention. some may be like this: R168166CRIT_156B2075_SU2_20091223_123456.txt or R285476COMP_SU1_125A6025_20100407_123456.txt So how could I use regex instead of split to ensure I am always getting that serial (ex. 004A7001), the date (ex. 20100104), and the R****COMP (or CRIT)??? I am trying to upload a file using attachFile() method. attachFile: (Information collected from selenium API http://release.seleniumhq.org/selenium-remote-control/1.0-beta-2/doc/java/com/thoughtworks/selenium/Selenium.html#attachFile(java.lang.String,%20java.lang.String)) void attachFile(java.lang.String fieldLocator, java.lang.String fileLocator) Sets a file input (upload) field to the file listed in fileLocator Parameters: fieldLocator - an element locator fileLocator - a URL pointing to the specified file. Before the file can be set in the input field (fieldLocator), Selenium RC may need to transfer the file to the local machine before attaching the file in a web page form. This is common in selenium grid configurations where the RC server driving the browser is not the same machine that started the test. Supported Browsers: Firefox ("*chrome") only. Can anyone please tell me how to define "fileLocator". I am not getting which URL to be specify over here. Please give me an example if possible.

  I've got a problem where calling grep from inside java gives incorrect results, as compared to the results from calling grep on the same file in the shell. My grep command (called both in Java and in bash. I tried passing local information via the environment string array in runtime.exec, but nothing seems to change. • How to Process Lambda Expressions Passed as Argument Into Method - C# .NET 3.5

  My knowledge of Lambda expressions is a bit shaky, while I can write code that uses Lambda expressions (aka LINQ), I'm trying to write my own method that takes a few arguments that are of type Lambda Expression. Background: I'm trying to write a method that returns a Tree Collection of objects of type TreeItem from literally ANY other object type. I have the following so far: public class TreeItem { public string Id { get; set; } public string Text { get; set; } public TreeItem Parent { get; protected set; } public IList<TreeItem> Children { get { // Implementation that returns custom TreeItemCollection type } } public static IList<TreeItem> GetTreeFromObject<T>(IList<T> items, Expression<Func<T, string>> id, Expression<Func<T, string>> text, Expression<Func<T, IList<T>>> childProperty) where T : class { foreach (T item in items) { // Errrm!?? What do I do now? } return null; } } ...which can be called via... IList<TreeItem> treeItems = TreeItem.GetTreeFromObject<Category>( categories, c => c.Id, c => c.Name, c => c.ChildCategories); I could replace the Expressions with string values, and just use reflection, but I'm trying to avoid this as I want to make it strongly typed. My reasons for doing this is that I have a control that accepts a List of type TreeItem, whereas I have dozens of different types that are all in a tree like structure, and don't want to write seperate conversion methods for each type (trying to adhere to the DRY principle). Am I going about this the right way? Is there a better way of doing this perhaps?
