• Low level Android Debugging

  Is there a way to trace through function calls at the lowest levels of the Android system? Right now when I debug in Eclipse, it goes through the source files that are located inside the frameworks folder, but is it possible to go even lower? For example show what functions are being called from the libcore folder. I am also interested to find how it communicates with the linux kernel at the bottom of the layers. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

  We have moved a lot of images and javascript file that was inside class to external Javascript file. In development (Debug inside Visual Studio), everything look nice, all images show, all javascript works and all CSS display perfectly. When we do a package and install everything with IIS all images from Javascript or CSS doesn't display and. Question is : Since we cannot use the tilde (~) in javascript or in CSS what is the way to display those resources?

  I'm working on some HTML5 content to be included as part of an iPad app in a Web View. As I understand it, Mobile Safari only supports SVG fonts, but my testing has show Mobile Safari to really struggle with SVG and the performance hit is a serious issue. So... is it possible to put fonts in the App Bundle and somehow make them available to the webview?

• Weird jquery behaviour

  I'm trying to achieve something really basic but jquery isn't doing what I expect! I have a div with an id of "stuff". In the css I set the display attribute to "none" with the aim of changing it with jquery. This way the div is hidden unless the user has js enabled. My jquery code is simply $("#stuff").show(); unfortunately this isn't working and the div remains hidden.

I've found some webkit-specific samples, but I'm battling to find any decent code samples that even work at all in Firefox 3.6 For a sample, I'd be happy with something that works with the following: Our company uses jquery extensively so I'd prefer samples that use that library or pure javascript. If you image the contacts app where sections organised by the alphabet, it will not have a header for B if there are no contacts in that section, so the section headers you see are A then C.   Hi, How can I know when to close the socket of an HTTP client (I mean a browser is connecting to my TCP socket server). Everything works perfect but in other for the browser to show what the server has sent, i have to shutdown the server (or call socket.Close()). It works fine if I call (socket.Close()) but I just don't know when.? I don't want to call close in a middle of a request otherwise the browser would have to reload to connect to the server again.
