• "Disabled use of AcceptEx() WinSock2 API" error on Windows 7 using Tomcat

  When starting Tomcat 6 on Windows 7 Enterprise with JRE 6 using C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\bin\tomcat6.exe the application does not open and my event viewer has the message: "Disabled use of AcceptEx() WinSock2 API." The same installer of Tomcat worked on Windows Vista before I upgraded my operating system. Can anyone please suggest a way to fix this? The only site I can find mentioning this is http://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?p=4418 which suggests using this config setting "Win32DisableAcceptEx" - but it's for Apache, not Tomcat, and I have no idea where in what config file it might need to go in Tomcat.

• Error calling webservice using JSONP + jquery with IE on remote domain

  I have a .Net webservice on my app server that returns data formatted as JSONP. I have an HTML test client on that server which works fine using IE, Firefox, & Chrome. If I copy the same HTML to my workstation or deploy to my webserver it works with Firefox & Chrome but in IE I'm getting two javascript errors.   Hi Guys, Can anyone help me, I have a IE javascript issue. I am really stuck and the client has just brought it to my attention. The site is http://www.fleurofengland.com/, its the check out page so if you would be kind enough to goto the site, add anything to your basket and go through to the checkout. The problem is when you get to the checkout page (https://www.fleurofengland.com/eaction/checkout.billing/), under the 'Billing and Delivery Details' heading you will see a dropdown called country. Below that is another dropdown called County/State, this dropdown is meant to be populated from the values of the 'country' one above however its not working. Please help or suggest a fix.   While trying to query some data using the Linq Entity Framework I'm receiving the following exception: {"Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '3208,7' to data type int."} The thing that is confusing is that this value does not even exist in the view I am querying from. It does exist in the table the view is based on, however.   I have an application that uses plugins that are managed via an interface I then dynamically load the plugin classes and cast them to the interface to work with them. I have the following line of code, assume that IPlugin is my interface. IPlugin _plugin = (IPlugin)Activator.CreateInstance(oInfo.Assembly, oInfo.FullyQualifiedName) This should be pretty simple, create the instance and cast it to the interface. I know that the assembly and fully qualified name values are correct, but I am getting the following exception. First stored procedure checks wether the email address already exists in database.Second one inserts the user supplied data into mysql database.   I'm trying to trigger a signal when a double click happens in one of the draggable widgets on the fridge magnets example. Trying to compile the project resulted in 'undefined reference to `DragLabel::testSignal()' and 'collect2: ld returned 1 exit status' errors. When I comment out the call to the signal, it compiles and runs, but gives off 'Object::connect: No such signal QLabel::testSignal() in draglabel.cpp' warning in the application output. Apparently testSignal() isn't being recognized as a signal. What am I missing?

• bug/error in basis set path algorithm i can't figure out

  The following looks through a 2d array to find basis set paths. It is supposed to print out the individual paths but not repeat any and end when all paths are found. It however doesn't stop at the last path and has a bug in it somewhere in which the following happens: It goes halfway through the path and then goes to zero and ends the path for some reason. For example the table is filled with the following: all 0s, except for [1][2], [1][3], [2][4], [2][5], [3][5], [4][6], [5][6], [6][0] which all have a 1 in them. The desired paths are P1: 1 2 4 6 0 P2: 1 3 5 6 0 P3: 1 2 5 6 0. The output I get when i run the program is 12460 13560 1250 124 Any and all help on this is much appreciated, this is just the function that scans through the array looking for paths, I can add the entire program if that would be helpful. • Strange MSI error when setup.exe is run

  We're using Visual Studio 2008's Setup Project to create an installer for our .NET 3.5 app. We host the .exe and .msi files on a website for our client to access, and produce new ones regularly to provide updates. This has all been fine until recently we've noticed some cases where installing via the .exe fails. The symptoms are: The .exe downloads fine, and runs fine. It appears to download the .msi successfully (the "downloading application files" step plods through happily), but then when it gets to the end of the "preparing to install" step, instead of launching the installer UI it pops up a message saying "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package". You'd think that the .msi is just corrupt or something, but running it explicitly (even downloading it from the same location as the .exe to do so) works just fine. This problem is occurring on just some of our machines, which are running a mixture of XP and Windows7. The only pattern I can see in those machines that experience the problem is that they tend to have had the application installed on them longer (i.e. updating the app rather than installing for the first time). It seems to me that it might be something to do with how/where the .exe downloads the .msi to, and perhaps different versions are conflicting there? Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone know where the installer .exe puts the .msi that it downloads?

  We've just recently converted our project to using Maven for builds and dependency management, and after the conversion I'm getting the following exception while trying to run any JSFUnit tests in my project. Exception class=[java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException] com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.ScriptException: CSSRule com.steadystate.css.dom.CSSCharsetRuleImpl is not yet supported. at com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.javascript.JavaScriptEngine$HtmlUnitContextAction.run(JavaScriptEngine.java:527) at net.sourceforge.htmlunit.corejs.javascript.Context.call(Context.java:537) ... All the dependencies and JARs for JSFUnit were pulled with Maven using the JBoss repository (http://repository.jboss.com/maven2/). We're using the following dependencies in the project: jboss-jsfunit-core 1.2.0.Final jboss-jsfunit-richfaces 1.2.0.Final richfaces-ui 3.3.2.GA openfaces 2.0 JSF 1.2_12 Facelets 1.1.14 Before the dependencies were being managed by Maven, we were able to run our JSFUnit tests just fine. I was able to semi-fix the issue by using a ss_css2.jar file that someone had tucked into our WEB-INF/lib directory (from before the Maven conversion). I'm hoping to find out if there's something else I can do to fix the dependencies in Maven rather than resorting to managing some of the dependencies myself.

• Letter placement error with GD2, TTF and PHP

  Some time ago I made a script that takes some text and returns it as an image, and worked flawlessly. But I'm not sure since when a weird bug started to happen. The letters that have a (my apologies to the font geeks) "glyph" on the left get pushed to the right so the letter starts on it, but leaves space only for the main letter, hehe, I think an example should do it. When i debug the code it says database path "out of scope" on the break point and it does not compile the statement.   I am using IDataErrorInfo to validate my data in a form in WPF. I have the validation implemented in my presenter. The actual validation is happening, but the XAML that's supposed to update the UI and set the style isn't happening. • Newtonsoft JSON Interface Serialization error

  I am using C# .NET 4.0, Newtonsoft JSON 4.5.0. public class Recipe { [JsonProperty(TypeNameHandling = TypeNameHandling.All)] public List<IFood> Foods{ get; set; } ... } I want to serialize and deserialize this Recipe object. If I serialize and deserialize the object during application lifetime this succeeds, but if I serialize the object, exit application and then deserialize it then it throws an exception, that it cannot instantiate IFood (since it is an interface). The problem is that it does not serialize the implementation of interface. "$type": "System.Collections.Generic.List`1[[NSM.Shared.Models.IFood, NSMShared]], mscorlib" I tried using TypeNameHandling.Object and Array and Auto, but it didn't help. Is there any way to serialize it properly? Or at least to define the class mapping before deserializing? EDIT: I am using JSON coupled with Hammock ( http://code.google.com/p/relax-net/ ), C# driver for CouchDB, which internally serializes and deserializes objects. As mentioned the problem is that it does not serialize the interface implementation.

• UpdatePanel Javascript Error on Adding Clientside Listbox items After postback

  Hi, I have a Dynamic list control of Metabuilder.Webcontrol inside UpdatePanel,I am adding removing Items using Javascript from the list control. It works fine Inside UpdatePanel. I have another control Gridview along with checkbox's which require postback to get populated. Once It gets populated successfully inside update without postback. I checked few rows and wanted to add them into List Control using Javascript.   When I run grails install-dependency, I get this. java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: loader (instance of <bootloader>) previously initiated loading for a different type with name "org/xml/sax/SAXParseException" What's wrong? • Oracle Data Pump import to a sql file error :ORA-31655 no data or metadata objects

  Hello, I'm using Data Pump to export/import data, one requirement is to import data to a sql file. The OS is window. I made the follow export : expdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp content=DATA_ONLY tables=user.tablename and it works, I can see the file TABLESDUMP.DMP in the directory path. then when I tried to import it to a sql file: impdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp sqlfile=tables_export.sql the log show : ..... ORA-31655 no data or metadata objects selected for job ..... and the sql file is created empty in the directory path. I'm not DBA, I'm a Java developer , Can you help me? Thks
