However, there are cases when it is desirable to keep track of the files pointed to by the symbolic link. How can I force Mercurial to treat the symbolic link to a directory as a regular directory?

    My app has to load an image from a http server and displaying it into an UIImageView How can i do that?? I tried this: NSString *temp = [NSString alloc]; [temp stringwithString:@"http://192.168.1.2x0/pic/LC.jpg"] temp=[(NSString *)CFURLCreateStringByAddingPercentEscapes( nil, (CFStringRef)temp, NULL, NULL, kCFStringEncodingUTF8) autorelease]; NSData *dato = [NSData alloc]; dato=[NSData dataWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL URLWithString:temp]]; pic = [pic initWithImage:[UIImage imageWithData:dato]]; This code is in viewdidload of the view but nothing is displayed! The server is working because i can load xml files from it. but i can't display that image! I need to load the image programmatically because it has to change depending on the parameter passed! I am not sure I can access the .htaccess and was wondering if I were to create a page so that people directed to this path would see soemthing what would the name of that page be? Since there is no name just an extra slash I am not sure how to handle this.

  • Base URL in ASP.net Master Pages with virtual Directories

    Hi All, I have an ASP.net master page. In this master, I have all my css and javascript files defined. I also have a few images and a few buttons and hyperlinks. All the urls are all declared as relative ie "/scripts/ian.js" Everything works fine if this site is the root website, but I need it to work in a virtual directory. My problem is when I place this website in a virtual directory under a root site, all my links are pointing to the root site. so my links point to www.root.com/scripts/ian.js but it should be pointing to www.root.com/virtualDir/scripts/ian.js I thought the Base Href tag in the header would help, but so far it does not seem to be helping in anyway. All the links are still pointing to the root website when i hover over them. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Thanks

    My goal is to implement the following scheme using the subdomain and path as attributes: Use a wildcard DNS entry that routes any subdomain to the root site: Example: *.example.com ex: http://xyz.example.com to http://example.com Next I want to rewrite the requests to point to a specific page, passing both the subdomain and the request path as attributes. Example: http://xyz123.example.com/images/header.jpg to http://example.com/get.aspx?id=xyz123&path=/images/header.jpg I've seen several questions on here regarding similar goals, but not quite the same. I'm new to using rewrite rules, so any help is appreciated. I will update this as I make progress.

  • What does "?ref=ts" mean in a FACEBOOK APP url

    When Facebook drives traffic to an app, they often append &ref=whatever to the query string. This is useful for figuring out which integration points are working or not. I've figured out what some of these mean. For example: ref=bookmarks - the user clicked on a bookmark. ref=game_my_recent - the user clicked on the upper portion of the games dashboard. Does anyone know what "ref=ts" means? It accounts for a ton of traffic. I've viewed source on pages all over common FB pages and cannot find a match for ant piece of content generated by any of my apps.     Hi guys, I've a doubt. How can I configure my application to use www.mysite.com/myfolder instead of www.mysite.com/myfile.php? I need to a create a profile page for every user registered to my PHP application but it's not so clear how can I do that. I'm looking to do something functionally equivalent to this (assuming a View model): map.route '/:view_name', :controller => lambda { View.find_by_name(params[:view_name]).controller } Others have suggested dynamically rebuilding the routes, but this won't work for me as there may be thousands of Views that map to the same Controller

  • Get #part in URL with PHP/Symfony

    Hi, I'm working with Symfony 1.2. I've a view with a list of objects. I can order them, filter them by category, or moving to the next page (there is pagination). Everything is done with AJAX, so I don't have to load all the page again. What I want to achieve is to have http://urltopage#page=1&order=title&cats=1,2 for example; so the new page is saved in the browser history, and he can paste it to another web. I haven't found a way to get the #part. I know that's only for the browser but I can't believe I can't get through PHP. I'm sure there is a simple solution I'm missing... thanks a lot!
