• Problem with accessing in DOM with jQuery

  Hello, I changed the tree of my JSON-P output, and i cannot access to my object DOM anymore : Here's my output : jsonp1271634374310( {"Inter-Medias": {"name":"Inter-Medias","idGSP":"14","average":"80","services":"8.86"} }); And here's my jQuery script : success: function(data, textStatus, XMLHttpRequest){ widget = data.name; widget += data.average ; .... I know one level is missing, but if I try to do : data.Inter-Medias.name or data.name.name it's still not working. Any idea please ? I will have case where i'll have multiple Ojbect, so i want to display all of them, how to do that ? for (i=0;i < data.length;i++) Does it look right ? Bonus question : i understand function(data, textStatus, XMLHttpRequest) that in case of success this function is triggered, the data is what the script recieved from his request, but i have no idea what textStatus or XMLHttpRequest are here too and why ?!   Hi All, I'm trying to get a simple code working, unfortunatly im a python beginner. • tomcat wont start up on linux machine

  hi, im new to linux but after spending the day i have got linux running. installed java and tomcat. my goal is host my app with this linux box i've just set up. i know it all works fine from my windows based machine but it is my laptop so i'm planning this as my dedicated server. following many many forums i've now got tomcat 7 installed. however i cannot get it to start. changing to the tomcat directory and "./startup.sh" i get output Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/local/tomcat Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/local.tomcat Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/local/tomcat/temp Using JRE_HOME: usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/ Using CLASSPATH: /usr/local/tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar:/usr/local.tomcat/bin/c\tomcat-juli.jar thats the end of theoutput. however localhost:8080 is not up. and in the tomcat log file is the error "eval: 1: usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun//bin/java: not found" hopfully there is some expert here who can help me with this problem. please note that im a novice when it comes to linux. thankyou oh and my version of linux is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx

  If I have two tables in mysql that have similar columns... TABLEA id name somefield1 TABLEB id name somefield1 somefield2 How do I structure a SELECT statement so that I can SELECT from both tables simultaneously, and have the result sets merged for the columns that are the same? So for example, I am hoping to do something like... SELECT name, somefield1 FROM TABLEA, TABLEB WHERE name="mooseburgers"; ...and have the name, and somefield1 columns from both tables merged together in the result set. Thank-you for your help!

I’ve used JavaScript ~2 years ago (just a little), so I don’t really know how to write the exact code. I’ve found something on the internet, but it doesn’t do what I want. I want to have the following: The user can check the RadioButtons. When the user clicks the Button, the JavaScript function should return all the checked radio buttons (I only need to know which RadioButton is checked). Since I know the name of the RadioButtons in my Windows 8 App, I can do the following: var object = WebView.InvokeScript("JavaScriptFunctionNAME", NameOfRadiobutton); So the WebView invokes the script and should get as a return the VALUE of the RadioButton, which is checked. “JavaScriptFunctionNAME” = name of the function in Javascript NameOfRadiobutton = the name of the RadioButton as a parameter (for example “frage1”). Currently I’m returning the value of the radiobutton, which is checked in the RadioGroup “frage1”. How can I check every RadioButton by it’s parameter? By this I mean I have a parameter “frage1” and return the value of the checked RadioButton. After this, I call the function again with the parameter “frage2” and return the checked RadioButtons value. Could anyone help me out with the JavaScript-function?

  I have the following code that works great but I am trying to modify it so that instead of replacing column 1 of the Index page with a new index I would rather start the range in Cell C11. Right now, the new Index starts in Cell A1 of the Index sheet. The "checking what kind of user if any is logged in" piece is starting to get very hairy and it obviously needs to be well-written because its run so often so I was wondering how you guys would re-factor this stuff. • Solr match all aka *:* does not work

  Don't know what I did wrong. I have two indices with identical documents in it. The local index was replicated from a master which responds correctly, so the same solrconfig.xml and schema.xml file. But if I query the index on my local machine with *:* I get 0 docs. (other queries on my local machine are working correct) I tried jetty and tomcat for the local index. no success. The *:* behaviour is crucial for me, because some test cases are failing now. Do you have an idea what could be wrong?

  In my database we have fields where the data is not readable. I now know why it happened but I don't know how to fix it. I found a way to get the info back from the database: SELECT id, name FROM projects WHERE LENGTH(name) != CHAR_LENGTH(name); One of the rows returned shows: id | name ------------------------- 1008 | Cajón el Diablo This should be: id | name ------------------------- 1008 | Cajón el Diablo Can somebody help me figure out how to fix this problem? How can I convert this using SQL? Is SQL not good? If not, how about Python?

  I deploy a war to my Tomcat 6.0.35 on Win7 64bit and when I use full-interface query page (I mean form.jsp) in Solr Admin to query 2 Chinese character (say it's C1C2) , the debug info shows: <lst name="debug"> <str name="rawquerystring">æ°è</str> <str name="querystring">æ°è</str> <str name="parsedquery">NEWSID:æ°è</str> <str name="parsedquery_toString">NEWSID:æ°è</str> ... You can see C1C2 becomes æ°è. I deploy same war file to Tomcat on Linux or on another Win7 64bit of my colleagues' computer, the encoding acts well.   I am using this code to find files recursively in a folder , with size greater than 50000 bytes. def listall(parent): lis=[] for root, dirs, files in os.walk(parent): for name in files: if os.path.getsize(os.path.join(root,name))>500000: lis.append(os.path.join(root,name)) return lis This is working fine. But when I used this on 'temporary internet files' folder in windows, am getting this error. Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#4>", line 1, in <module> listall(a) File "<pyshell#2>", line 5, in listall if os.path.getsize(os.path.join(root,name))>500000: File "C:\Python26\lib\genericpath.py", line 49, in getsize return os.stat(filename).st_size WindowsError: [Error 123] The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect: 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\khedarnatha\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet Files\\Content.IE5\\EDS8C2V7\\??????+1[1].jpg' I think this is because windows gives names with special characters in this specific folder... Please help to sort out this issue.
