• Trying to configure HWIC-3G-HSPA

  I'm trying to configure a couple of Cisco 1941 routes. The are both identical routers. Each as a HWIC-1T (Smart Serial interface) and a HWIC-3G-HSPA 3G interface. These routers are to be sent to remote sites. We have connectivity to one of the sites but if remote site A gors down we lose connectivity to remote site B. The HWIC-1T is the primary WAN interface using frame relay joining the two remote sites We want the HWIC-3G-HSPA to be usable for direct connectivity from head office to remote site B, and also the HWIC-3G-HSPA is do be used for comms between the remote sites when the frame relay is down (happens quite a bit). I initialy tried to do dynamic routing using EIGRP however in my lab setup of laptop - 1941 - 1941 - laptop, I was unable to get end to end connectivity. I later settled on static routing and have got end to end connectivity but only over frame relay, not the HWIC-3G-HSPA. I've tried using kron to ping the local HWIC-3G-HSPA interface (cellular 0/1/0) every minute but that hasn't been successful. Manually pinging the IP assigned (by the telco) to ce0/1/0 does bring the interface up. Any ideas? Thanks

  Hi all If I set a session variable in Django, like: request.session["name"] = "name" Is there a way I can access it from within a template, or do I have to retrieve it from within a view, and then pass it to a template? Asking because I have around 10 little session variables that I'd like to access within a template, and passing all 10 from the view to the template could get a bit messy. (I have to use session variables because it's a HttpResponseRedirect, but storing the variables in a database is overkill for my purposes.) So - any way to grab session variables directly within a template?

  I'm making a core-data application that is view based. I can create the managedObjectContext and 'use' it in the app delegate, but can not pass it to the mainviewcontroller.   I want to remove spaces from strings where the space is preceeded by a digit or a "." and acceded by a digit or ".". I have strings like: "50 .10", "50 . 10", "50. 10" and I want them all to become "50.10" but with an unknown number of digits on either side.   I am having some issues trying to learn WPF. What I am trying to do is to bind a class that has a string and an array of strings. I would like to bind the string as the title and array as the contents of an expander, but I am having difficulties. What am I missing to make this work? Any help would be appreciated, TIA. Is there a way to optimize this? And is there a way to write this not using exists operator?

  I have been all around with this question and I can't find the correct answer! So, behold, the description of my question: I'm working in J2ME, I have my gameloop that do the following: public void run() { Graphics g = this.getGraphics(); while (running) { long diff = System.currentTimeMillis() - lastLoop; lastLoop = System.currentTimeMillis(); input(); this.level.doLogic(); render(g, diff); try { Thread.sleep(10); } catch (InterruptedException e) { stop(e); } } } so it's just a basic gameloop, the doLogic() function calls for all the logic functions of the characters in the scene and render(g, diff) calls the animateChar function of every character on scene, following this, the animChar function in the Character class sets up everything in the screen as this: protected void animChar(long diff) { this.checkGravity(); this.move((int) ((diff * this.dx) / 1000), (int) ((diff * this.dy) / 1000)); if (this.acumFrame > this.framerate) { this.nextFrame(); this.acumFrame = 0; } else { this.acumFrame += diff; } } This ensures me that everything must to move according to the time that the machine takes to go from cycle to cycle (remember it's a phone, not a gaming rig). I'm sure it's not the most efficient way to achieve this behavior so I'm totally open for criticism of my programming skills in the comments, but here my problem: When I make I character jump, what I do is that I put his dy to a negative value, say -200 and I set the boolean jumping to true, that makes the character go up, and then I have this function called checkGravity() that ensure that everything that goes up has to go down, checkGravity also checks for the character being over platforms so I will strip it down a little for the sake of your time: public void checkGravity() { if (this.jumping) { this.jumpSpeed += 10; if (this.jumpSpeed > 0) { this.jumping = false; this.falling = true; } this.dy = this.jumpSpeed; } if (this.falling) { this.jumpSpeed += 10; if (this.jumpSpeed > 200) this.jumpSpeed = 200; this.dy = this.jumpSpeed; if (this.collidesWithPlatform()) { this.falling = false; this.standing = true; this.jumping = false; this.jumpSpeed = 0; this.dy = this.jumpSpeed; } } } So, the problem is, that this function updates the dy regardless of the diff, making the characters fly like Superman in slow machines, and I have no idea how to implement the diff factor so that when a character is jumping, his speed decrement in a proportional way to the game speed.   In Excel, I have the following formula =(MIN(H69,H52,H35,H18)*(1/H18))*10 that is supposed to return the MIN of a range, and divide it by the current cell (*(1/H18) ), then multiply by 10. I am having difficulty with adding a type of NULLIF statement. I want to be able to have (the possibility for) blank rows, and have the MIN function ignore zero/blank fields while selecting the next lowest value (all are between 1.0-0.1). Is there a modifier i can apply to the MIN function to make it not compare zeroes in the MIN set? Is there a better funtion than MIN to use? This is to prevent the following situation: users will need to eliminate fields that are zeros from the form, theres 2 formula edits per entry, averaging 4 entries per use, so 8 possible errors per form use...

The problem I am running into is that the default Hash.sort function sorts numbers like strings rather than by number size. i.e. Given Hash: metrics = {"sitea.com" => 745, "siteb.com" => 9, "sitec.com" => 10 } Running this code: metrics.sort {|a1,a2| a2[1]<=>a1[1]} will return a sorted array: [ 'siteb.com', 9, 'sitea.com', 745, 'sitec.com', 10] Even though 745 is a larger number than 9, 9 will appear first in the list. When trying to show who has the top count, this is making my life difficult. :) Any ideas on how to sort a hash (or an array even) by number value size? I appreciate any help.

• Making pygtksourceview work in windows

  So, I'm trying to get gtksourceview python bindings work under windows (I'm developing a cross platform gtk application that shows code, so gtksourceview seemed like a natural choice). I have pygtk installed and working (I followed the instructions in http://www.pygtk.org/downloads.html) I tried the instructions in http://projects.gnome.org/gtksourceview/ for gtksourceview. Here is what I did: Downloaded and extracted the latest gtksourceview window binaries from: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/gtksourceview/2.10/gtksourceview-2.10.0.zip The website said gtksourceview needs libxml, so I downloaded and extracted the latest libxml window binaries from: http://xmlsoft.org/sources/win32/libxml2-2.7.6.win32.zip Added the folders containing dll files to the PATH (in my computer they were c:\opt\gtksourceview\bin; C:\opt\libxml2-2.7.6.win32\bin) Installed pygtksourceview with the windows installer: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/pygtksourceview/2.10/pygtksourceview-2.10.0.win32-py2.6.exe Renamed the file libxml2.dll to libxml2-2.dll (after running depends on the gtksourceview dll) Now, the gtksouceview widget seems to work, until I'm trying to set the code's language. When I do that python crashes.   I'm using python 2.7.2 on mac os 10.7.3 I'm doing a recursive algorithm in python with more than 50 000 recursion levels. I tried to increase the maximum recursion level to 1 000 000 but my python shell still exit after 18 000 recursion levels. Basically, I need to count the number of item sold from the Item_sold column incrementally (base line date starts from 12/8 to 12/9, 12/8 to 12/10, 12/8 to 12/11, 12/8 to 12/12...) I was wondering if anyone could edcuate and solve this problem.   Hello, I'm making a game on iPhone using cocos2d, and I have a question. In my init method I'm doing this : [self schedule:@selector(newMonster:) interval:1]; It create a new monster every second. But I'd like that the interval change over time. For example : -The 10 first seconds of the game: a new monster appears every 1 second. -Then for 10 seconds: a new monster appears every 0.8 second. -And after every 0.5 second... How can I do that? • Can a Domain Specific Language (DSL) be localized?

  I have never written a DSL, but I am considering it as a feature for a new project (hypothetical). It would be for end users to be able to express in natural language concepts such as weekdays between 10 and 11 except on the first monday of the month. Dutch users might write weekdagen tussen 10 en 11 behalve op de eerste maandag van de maand. In this case the position of the words seems to match, but there may be expressions where the position of verbs/nouns etc. could be different between languages. I realise the obvious answer (it depends). I am a .NET developer and I consider using Boo but I'm open to suggestions. I need to understand wether each translation requires rewriting a part of the implementation (which part) or if there is a way to do actual translations, maybe in some sort of preprocessor. Thanks!

This is very strange. And then it is copying 'i' into 'eax' and doing things that are beyond me. I have heard that the compiler implements some jump table for switch..case. Is it what this code is doing? Or what is it doing and why? Because in case of less number of cases, the code is pretty similar to that generated for if...else ladder, but when number of cases increases, this unusual-looking implementation is seen. • Solr date range problem and specific date problem

  I index some data include date in solr but when search for specific date, i get some record (not all record) include some record in next day for example: http://localhost:8080/solr/select/?q=pubdate:[2010-03-25T00:00:00Z TO 2010-03-25T23:59:59Z]&start=0&rows=10&indent=on&sort=pubdate desc i have 625000 record in 2010-03-25 but above query result return 325412 that include 14 record from 2010-03-26. Also i try with below query, but not get right result http://localhost:8080/solr/select/?q=pubdate:"2010-03-25T00:00:00Z"&start=0&rows=10&indent=on&sort=pubdate desc How to get right result for specific date ???
