    I need to set a cookie in IE to execute some specific flow. I tried using the following code ieb = Watir::IE.new ieb.document.cookie="rememberme=foobar;Path=/; Domain=sometestdomain.com" # Bring up browser and do bunch of stuff However, I see that when the IE comes up, rememberme cookie is not set. Am I doing something wrong here?

  • C# Parsing html for general use?

    What is the best way to take a string of html and turn it in to something useful? Essentially if i take a url and go get the html from that url in .net i get a response but this would come in the form of either a file or stream or string. What if i want an actual document or something I can crawl like an xmldocument object? I have some thoughts and an already implemented solution on this but I am interested to see what the community thinks about this.

  • Replace merge fields with text with OpenXML SDK 2.0

    What is the best way to remove all merge fields from a word 2010 document using openxml sdk 2.0, and replace them with a simple text? I have some difficulties to remove them cleanly. Have tried to remove all Run objects that includes a FieldCode with a "MERGEFIELD" defined, and appended a new Run with my text. But I am missing something crucial since the field seems to stay defined for this element.

  • ASP.NET Rendering XMl/XSLT direct from the web - problem with non virtual path

    Hi, i have a small problem. Im using the ASP.NET Xml control and want to pass it a url to a rss feed and a stylesheet - so that i can style the rss myself on my website. When applying the full web path to the xml control (http://www.myserver.com/myfeed.rss) i get an exception telling me that the document source is not a valid virtual path. What am i doing wrong? I would hate to download the file before showing it...

  • Intellisense for Javascript - not correct in Visual Studio 2010

For example, I can wire onMouseDown to the mouse down event, the issue is that Visual Studio does not display this in the Intellisense. I've tried this on both a standalone Javascript file, as well as an MVC project to no luck. Is there anything I'm doing wrong - or is there a way to resolve this?

    I use Javascript to click a link in the webbrowser control. But I don't want to hear IE's "click" sound. Is there anyway to do this? P.S. I don't want to change system settings.     Hi I would like to create a text box which loads xml files and let users edit them. However, I cannot use XmlDocument to load since the files can be very large. I am looking for options to stream/load the xml document in chunks so that I do not get out of memory errors -- at the same time, performance is important too.     I'm trying to merge two docx-documents into one docx-document using OpenXML SDK 2.0. The documents should be merged without loosing their styling and custom headers and footers. I hope I can achieve this using AltChunk and a section break. But I can't get it working. Is it possible what I'm trying to do? Can someone give me a hint how to achieve this?

  • Need to place a floating modeless form over excel main window (quasi-task pane)

    Hi I need to emulate a task pane by floating a modeless form over the Excel main window. The reason for this requirement is that I need to have taskpane features for my Excel 2003 add-in, but cannot use the document-centric model. Can anyone suggest what would be the best way to do this? The modeless form would need to detect the main window resize event and resize itself accordingly, and also need to always position itself at the bottom of the window (kind of like a docking pane).

  • Use CFBundleIconFiles or CFBundleIcons?

    According to apple, it's better to use CFBundleIcons in plist if iOS5 or greater. Now if I use CFBundleIcons then Xcode 5 seems doesn't recognize those items, but it looks like on device proper icon is selected. I've followed option in Apple's document and provided filename with extensions for all resolutions. The icons I'm using: If I use CFBundleIconFiles then Xcode 5 will not complain, but on device wrong icon is selected (iOS5 iPad2, system selected 80px iOS7 icon instead of 72px).

Based on the input it generates a HTML document with various UI components (textareas, inputs, panels, dialogs etc.) Do you have any suggestions for tools/libraries I might use for this? (At school we use Flex and Bison, but we're allowed to use modern tools -- maybe a tool that has the capabilities of both lex and yacc)

    Say I am using an Identity Matrix for my modelViewTransformation Matrix on an Open GL ES2.0 program. The Co-ordinate system in this case is the canonical opengl co-ordinate system which extends from (-1,-1,-1) to (1,,1,1). My question is, is this coordinate system right-handed or left-handed? I would like to print numbering with the document that reflects where the item is in the tree, e.g. First item, 1.1 Child of first item, 1.1.1 Child of child of first item, 1.2 Child of first item, Second item, 2.1 Child of second item, etc. Rather stumped about this at the moment - help please?
