    Hi, I have to use a Virtual(on screen) keyboard on a asp:textbox which has a AjaxControlToolkit's automcomplete attached to it, the virtual keyboard I use is the jQuery keypad plug in: http://keith-wood.name/keypadRef.html , but I have some problems with combining these two: Typing in the virtual keyboard does not trigger the Autocomplete list. When the textbox has autopostback=true if you click anything on virtual keyboard the textbox loses its focus and posts the form.

    I'm using struts2 with freemarker (included in struts2 lib) and i'm trying to speed up my web-app. In the logs continuously appear: UIBean.debug(57) | Rendering template /template/xhtml/a FreemarkerTemplateEngine.debug(57) | Rendering template /template/simple/a.ftl and this for each tag. The problem is that i don't know if it's normal, i just set properties for caching templates: struts.properties: struts.freemarker.templatesCache=true and freemarker.properties: template_update_delay=60000

  • Erratic behavior with XPS editing: what could be going wrong?

    Hello folks, I'm working on a class that annotates existing XPS documents. The problem I've been having is that some annotations randomly don't make it to the finished document. The following test code is supposed to draw a rectangle on every page. On random pages the rectangle does not appear. Upon inspection of the page XML, the tags for the rectangle are missing. I really like the idea of the database schema being generate from my classes during development. Camera kits exist independently of cameras and tripods, but are sometimes related. The problem is, if I use createschema, this will put foreign key constraints on the Camera and Tripod tables. I don't want this, I want to be able to to set CamKitId to null on the tripod and camera tables to indicate that it is not part of a CameraKit. Is there a way to tell activerecord/nhibernate to still see it as related, without enforcing the integrity? I was thinking I could have a cameraKit record in there to indicate "no camera kit", but it seems like oeverkill. Or is my schema wrong? Am I doing something I shouldn't with an ORM? (I've not really used ORMs much) Thanks!

    I have a web service that checks a dictionary to see if a file exists and then if it does exist it reads the file, otherwise it saves to the file. This is from a web app. I wonder what is the best way to do this because I occasionally get a FileNotFoundException exception if the same file is accessed at the same time.   • WP7 silverlight custom control using popup

    Hi guys, I'm creating a custom datepicker, I have a textbox, once clicked it opens a calendar within a popup. What I want to do is change the size of the popup so it shows my whole calendar, but I can't manage to change it..., I've tried using Height, Width, MinHeight, MinWidth... but it doesn't work, the popup keep showing with a fixed size. The thing is that my popup's parent property isn't evaluated since it has expression issues (according to debugger), so I'm sure my popup's parent isn't the main screen( say layout grid). How can I for example make my popup open within a specific context ?   • Query an XmlDocument without getting a 'Namespace prefix is not defined' problem

    I've got an Xml document that both defines and references some namespaces. I load it into an XmlDocument object and to the best of my knowledge I create a XmlNamespaceManager object with which to query Xpath against. Problem is I'm getting XPath exceptions that the namespace "my" is not defined. How do I get the namespace manager to see that the namespaces I am referencing are already defined. Or rather how do I get the namespace definitions from the document to the namespace manager. Furthermore tt strikes me as strange that you have to provide a namespace manager to the document which you create from the documents nametable in the first place. Even if you need to hardcode manual namespaces why can't you add them directly to the document. Why do you always have to pass this namespace manager with every single query? What can't XmlDocument just know?   • What is the relationship between WebProxy & IWebProxy with respect to WebClient?

    I am creating an app (.NET 2.0) that uses WebClient to connect (downloaddata, etc) to/from a http web service. I am adding a form now to handle allowing proxy information to either be stored or set to use the defaults. I am a little confused about some things. First, some of the methods & properties available in either WebProxy or IWebProxy are not in both. What is the difference here with respect to setting up how WebClient will be have when it is called? Secondly, do I have to tell WebClient to use the proxy information if I set it using either WebProxy or IWebProxy class elsewhere? Or is it automatically inherited? Thirdly, when giving the option for the user to use the default proxy (whatever is set in IE) and using the default credentials (I assume also whatever is set in IE) are these two mutually exclusive? Or you only use default credentials when you have also used default proxy? This gets me to the whole difference between WebProxy and IWebProxy. WebRequest.DefaultProxy is a IWebPRoxy class but UseDefaultCredentials is not a method on the IWebProxy class, rather it is only on WebProxy and in turn, How to set the proxy to the WebRequest.DefautlProxy if they are two different classes? What I have so far in PHP: function getPermutations($my_array){ $permutation_length = 1; $keep_going = true; while($keep_going){ while($there_are_still_permutations_with_this_length){ // Generate the next permutation and return it into an array // Of course, the actual important part of the code is what I'm having trouble with. } $permutation_length++; if($permutation_length>count($my_array)){ $keep_going = false; } else{ $keep_going = true; } } return $return_array; } The closest thing I can think of is shuffling the array, picking the first n elements, seeing if it's already in the results array, and if it's not, add it in, and then stop when there are mathematically no more possible permutations for that length. But it's ugly and resource-inefficient. Any pseudocode algorithms would be greatly appreciated. Also, for super-duper (worthless) bonus points, is there a way to get just 1 permutation with the function but make it so that it doesn't have to recalculate all previous permutations to get the next? For example, I pass it a parameter 3, which means it's already done 3 permutations, and it just generates number 4 without redoing the previous 3? (Passing it the parameter is not necessary, it could keep track in a global or static). The reason I ask this is because as the array grows, so does the number of possible combinations. Suffice it to say that one small data set with only a dozen elements grows quickly into the trillions of possible combinations and I don't want to task PHP with holding trillions of permutations in its memory at once.

    I need to check if a c# WinForm Window (FORM Class) has been initialized and waiting for user events. But I could not find out how to manage that. Therefore I had the idea to set the Control.IsAccessible Flag of the Form to true, within the OnLoad Event of the Windows Form. My question is now, what is the Control.IsAccessible Flag origin intended for? Or is there an other solution to check if the Winform is initialized. Thanks for your help

  • Can't compare the norm of a vector to 1 in matlab

    I'm trying to find out wether a matrix is orthonormal. I begin by checking if the vectors are normal by doing for j=1:2; if norm(S:,j) ~= 1; return; % Not normal vector end end But when norm returns 1.0000 comparing that to 1 is true and the function returns, which is not what i want.   • Great Circle & Ray intersection

    I have a Latitude, Longitude, and a direction of travel in degrees true north. I would like to calculate if I will intersect a line defined by two more Lat/Lon points. I figure the two points defining the line would create my great circle and my location and azimuth would define my ray (or possibly a small circle). Any ideas?

  • Django: Inherit Permssions from abstract models?

    Is it possible to inherit permissions from an abstract model in Django? I can not really find anything about that. For me this doesn't work! class PublishBase(models.Model): class Meta: abstract = True get_latest_by = 'created' permissions = (('change_foreign_items', "Can change other user's items"),) EDIT: Not working means it fails silently. Permission is not created, as it wouldn't exist on the models inheriting from this class.
