Even though these are open source & free, the end user/adhoc reporting components needs to be paid annual license fees which is not quite affordable for us.     I know the title is a bit confusing but bare with me. (I'm up for suggestions on a new title lol) I'm writing a TemplateEngine that will allow me to use my own markup in text based files. I'm wanting to add controls as plugins as the application matures. Currently i've got a structure like the following: interface IControl string Id object Value class Label : IControl string Id string Value class Repeater : IControl string Id List<IControl> Value Now you'll see the strange part right away in the Repeater class with the Value property. I was hoping that having the Value type as object in the interface would allow me the flexibility to expand the controls as i go along. The compiler doesn't like this and for good reason i guess. Does anyone have any suggestions how to accomplish this? Note: Please don't go into suggesting things like use Spark View Engine for templating. There is a reason i'm creating extra work for myself.

    I am developing a coverage data tool in eclipse cdt. I used gcov and build and execute my C program to generate .gcda and .gcno files. When double click on .gcda file to see the coverage data, below error message displays. An error has occurred. See error log for more details. org.eclipse.linuxtools.binutils.utils.STSymbolManager.demangle(Lorg/eclipse/cdt/core/IBinaryParser$IBinaryObject;Ljava/lang/String;Lorg/eclipse/core/resources/IProject;)Ljava/lang/String; But I already downloaded and save org.eclipse.linuxtools.binutils_4.0.0.201209191645.jar into plugins directory. Where am I doing wrong?

This works great when viewing the page for the first time (or force reloading all content). However, when the image has already been cached, it doesn't use the preloading script and thus does not send the play trigger to jplayer. How can I make it send a play trigger even when the image is cached? Thank you in advance, Dennis

    Hi there, I'm pretty new to CakePHP and was missing a crucial feature not generated as scaffold: filtering. What do I have to do to provide dropdowns or multi-selects on the index pages for each field that is a (foreign) key, thereby allowing to filter the table ("OR" inside multi-select, "AND" between different multi-selects, if any)? From what my websearch has shown me there are many more people trying to accomplish the same thing, although I couldn't find anything that would work for me because either they have text fields and do wildcard filtering, or the plugins they propose only work for 1.2 whereas i now started with 1.3 etc. etc. Can someone alleviate the confusion and maybe present some working code or direct me to the definitive guide[tm] where this matter has been solved?     I am using this plugin in wordpress http://www.iwebix.de/front-slider-wordpress-plugin-demo/ As you can see in the demo above, the left and right arrow buttons are the controls for scrolling the thumbnails and the event is onmouseover and onmouseout. I don't know how to change this to onclick instead so that the thumbnails will scroll left and right only when the buttons are clicked. Any help or ideas on how to do this? Thanks!     I have a VBScript that is running through a list of actions in IE, and at one point the site displays an Alert box with "OK" and "Cancel" as options. 'OK' is focused when the alert box appears, however SendKeys "{ENTER}" isn't doing the trick. I think perhaps the browser window still has the focus of the VBS. How can I tell the VBS to 'OK' the alert box and continue with the routines?

  • Jerky Silverlight 4 animations when running app in OOB

    I was playing with new Silverlight 4 and to my surprise when I run my sample application in OOB all animations become very jerky when I move mouse around during animations, but when I run my app in browser animations are smooth even when moving mouse around. I tried my app on two different computers, turned on GPU acceleration in OOB settings - and got the same jerky result. Is this a know problem with Silverlight?

  • MySQL Create tables without commiting current transaction

    I'd like my program to be able to install plugins, and rollback all the changes made if an error occurs. So I create a transaction that keeps all the things that were added while installing the plugin. The problem is that the plugin may want to create tables, and doing so automatically commits the current transaction in MySQL. See Statements That Cause an Implicit Commit on MySQL web site. Any idea on how I could do it? I thought of using temporary tables as they are not automatically commited, unless they are using too much memory, but it looks like temporary tables cannot be rolled back anyway (and I haven't found a way to convert them to permanent tables). I just found out about "save points" (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/savepoint.html), but I don't really understand how/when it should be used nor if it can help me achieve what I want.

    I haven't programmed in a while, and have kind of lost interest, but I want to get back, and I've enjoyed C# the most, a lot more than objective-c and visual basic. So I want to make some games that me and my friends will be able to play next school year. So basically something you can play on the web. What programming languages deploy to the web? If c# is possible, and a mac with safari/firefox would be able to use it (I can't install plugins, and I don't want to get in trouble for making myself admin again) Flash, Java, etc. If java does, I'd like that most since it's most like c#. Then what libraries/engines would I use? I want to do 2d. And then what IDE would I use? Thanks in advance!
