    Hi, Can I use Linq-to-xml to persist my object state without having to use/know Xpath & XSD Syntax? ie. really looking for simple but flexible way to persist a graph of object data (e.g. have say 2 or 3 classes with associations) - if Linq-to-xml were as simple as saying "persist this graph to XML", and then you could also query it via Linq, or load it into memory again/change/then re-save to the xml file.

    I'm loading the Bootstrap CSS on my page from the CDN bootstrapcdn.com <link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/twitter-bootstrap/2.3.2/css/bootstrap-combined.min.css" rel="stylesheet"> How can I test if the stylesheet was loaded, and if not provide a local fallback? I do not want to wait for jQuery or other libraries to load before doing the test; I want all CSS to be loaded on the page first.

    I'm creating a little management tool for the browser game travian. So I select all the villages from the database and I want to display some content that's unique to each of the villages. But in order to query for those unique details I need to pass the id of the village. For instance, if I want to limit a host in the DMZ to access only one particular web service, but that web service might be globally load balanced or using DynDNS or cloud, how can the ACL be expressed so that a fixed IP address isn't used and the admin doesn't have to keep opening and closing down IP addresses?

I set the game_id field to Meteor.uuid() to create a unique value that I also route to /game_show/:game_id using iron router. As you can see I'm logging the details of the game, this works fine. The only way at the time I could find to ensure that every request to a page was over https was to check it in the page load event. If the request was not over http I would response.redirect("https://mysite.com") Is there a better way -- ideally some setting in the web.config?
