  • Error while installing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 on Windows 7 machine

    I've installed Microsoft SharePoint 2010 on my Windows 7 64bits machine. I've modified the config.xml file to accomplish this. Once it's installed I run the Configuration Wizard to create a new site and it throws me the following exception: An exception of type System.IO.FileNotFoundException was thrown.   • Filtering Wikipedia's XML dump: error on some accents

    I'm trying to index Wikpedia dumps. My SAX parser make Article objects for the XML with only the fields I care about, then send it to my ArticleSink, which produces Lucene Documents. I want to filter special/meta pages like those prefixed with Category: or Wikipedia:, so I made an array of those prefixes and test the title of each page against this array in my ArticleSink, using article.getTitle.startsWith(prefix). In English, everything works fine, I get a Lucene index with all the pages except for the matching prefixes. In French, the prefixes with no accent also work (i.e. filter the corresponding pages), some of the accented prefixes don't work at all (like Catégorie:), and some work most of the time but fail on some pages (like Wikipédia:) but I cannot see any difference between the corresponding lines (in less). I can't really inspect all the differences in the file because of its size (5 GB), but it looks like a correct UTF-8 XML. If I take a portion of the file using grep or head, the accents are correct (even on the incriminated pages, the <title>Catégorie:something</title> is correctly displayed by grep). On the other hand, when I rectreate a wiki XML by tail/head-cutting the original file, the same page (here Catégorie:Rock par ville) gets filtered in the small file, not in the original… Any idea ?     In the following, I am trying to persist a set of objects in an excel worksheet. Each time the function is called to store a value, it should allocate the next cell of the A column to store that object. However, an exception is thrown by the Interop library on the first call to get_Range().   • DataGrid giving error and getting invisible whenever some elements visibility is changed

    I have a datagrid in which i have textblocks as one column.Then in the next column i have progress bar over which there is a textblock.On loading row of datagrid,i add these three into lists of textblock and progressbar.I start the first progress bar and after 15-20 minutes next progress bar is started.The next progress bar is getting started fine and after 20 minutes it is getting invisible.The problem is that if i try to make textblock invisible,then the whole Datagrid gets invisible and stops working.After all the tasks in the Datagrid are complete i need to make DataGrid invisible and also when i try to do so,the grid becomes invisible and no other event gets fired.... e.g List txtlist=new List(); i=1; txtlist[i].Visibility=Visibility.Collapsed;

  • ASP.NET MVC2 DataAnnotations not catching error

    Can somebody help me to figure out why DataAnnotations will not work with my MVC2 project in VS 2008 SP1? Here's the situation.. I uninstalled VS2008 and MVC1, then reinstalled VS2008 SP1 and .NET 3.5 SP1 and MVC2. Now when I create a clean project as soon as it has to hit the DataAnnotations Dll (e.g. say when I go to Register.aspx it fails at the first "LabelFor" that it encounters. I can overcome this by changing the "Copy Local" property of the dll to True but this then creates a conflict with the same dll in the Tests project. If then I delete the test project and try agan, it runs but does not catch any validation failures. I have gone right back to basics and followed the step by step ScottGu Datavalidation tutorial at : http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2010/01/15/asp-net-mvc-2-model-validation.aspx And at the "Et viola" bit where we usually go "Whoa! cool!" I say "It never caught!". Any Ideas?

  • Symbol error in java application using netbeans 6.8 when adding a shared project to library

    I have a project which has shared functionality between three other projects and have linked these to existing projects as I normally would using the add project functionality of the libraries folder. This all used to work however when I started up Netbeans yesterday it just wasn't working as in the other projects won't compile even though the projects are linked. It can recognise the packages - just the actual classes themselves were not recognised... and to add to the weirdness some of the classes are getting picked up fine. I have checked the dist folder of the shared project and the Shared.jar file exists. Also I have checked the Jar and the other classes that are not being recognises are there also. Any suggestions? Solution I had to reinstall netbeans to get this solution resolved

  • "Disabled use of AcceptEx() WinSock2 API" error on Windows 7 using Tomcat

    When starting Tomcat 6 on Windows 7 Enterprise with JRE 6 using C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\bin\tomcat6.exe the application does not open and my event viewer has the message: "Disabled use of AcceptEx() WinSock2 API." The same installer of Tomcat worked on Windows Vista before I upgraded my operating system. Can anyone please suggest a way to fix this? The only site I can find mentioning this is http://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?p=4418 which suggests using this config setting "Win32DisableAcceptEx" - but it's for Apache, not Tomcat, and I have no idea where in what config file it might need to go in Tomcat.

    Hi Guys, Can anyone help me, I have a IE javascript issue. I am really stuck and the client has just brought it to my attention. The site is http://www.fleurofengland.com/, its the check out page so if you would be kind enough to goto the site, add anything to your basket and go through to the checkout. The problem is when you get to the checkout page (https://www.fleurofengland.com/eaction/checkout.billing/), under the 'Billing and Delivery Details' heading you will see a dropdown called country. Below that is another dropdown called County/State, this dropdown is meant to be populated from the values of the 'country' one above however its not working. Please help or suggest a fix.   • Qt - no such signal error

    I'm trying to trigger a signal when a double click happens in one of the draggable widgets on the fridge magnets example. Here's the changes I made to the example source: DragLabel: class DragLabel : public QLabel { public: DragLabel(const QString &text, QWidget *parent); QString labelText() const; public slots: void testSlot(){qDebug()<<"testSlot";} //<-- implemented this slot protected: void mouseDoubleClickEvent(QMouseEvent *ev){emit testSignal();} //<-- overriden this method private: QString m_labelText; signals: void testSignal(); //<-- added this signal }; The only thing I changed in the implementation file is adding connect(this,SIGNAL(testSignal()),this,SLOT(testSlot())); to DragLabel's constructor. Trying to compile the project resulted in 'undefined reference to `DragLabel::testSignal()' and 'collect2: ld returned 1 exit status' errors. When I comment out the call to the signal, it compiles and runs, but gives off 'Object::connect: No such signal QLabel::testSignal() in draglabel.cpp' warning in the application output. Apparently testSignal() isn't being recognized as a signal. What am I missing?

    I have an application that uses plugins that are managed via an interface I then dynamically load the plugin classes and cast them to the interface to work with them. I have the following line of code, assume that IPlugin is my interface. IPlugin _plugin = (IPlugin)Activator.CreateInstance(oInfo.Assembly, oInfo.FullyQualifiedName) This should be pretty simple, create the instance and cast it to the interface. I know that the assembly and fully qualified name values are correct, but I am getting the following exception. Exception= System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type ‘System.Runtime.Remoting.ObjectHandle’ to type ‘MyNamespace.Components.Integration.IPlugin’. at MyNamespace.Components.Integration.PluginProxy..ctor(Int32 instanceId) Any ideas what could cause this?

  • bug/error in basis set path algorithm i can't figure out

    The following looks through a 2d array to find basis set paths. It is supposed to print out the individual paths but not repeat any and end when all paths are found. It however doesn't stop at the last path and has a bug in it somewhere in which the following happens: It goes halfway through the path and then goes to zero and ends the path for some reason. For example the table is filled with the following: all 0s, except for [1][2], [1][3], [2][4], [2][5], [3][5], [4][6], [5][6], [6][0] which all have a 1 in them. The desired paths are P1: 1 2 4 6 0 P2: 1 3 5 6 0 P3: 1 2 5 6 0. The output I get when i run the program is 12460 13560 1250 124 Any and all help on this is much appreciated, this is just the function that scans through the array looking for paths, I can add the entire program if that would be helpful.
